This adds a really harsh robotic edge to Duel which, now that I've listened to this mashup, I miss when I go listen to the original. Really good for V2's rage

V2 *It seems heavenly interference brought this seemingly destroyed machine back to its former glory. Now equipped with both hell energy and heavenly energy, giving V2 the same unpredictability as the flesh prisons.*
The intro feels like a long wind up in some sort of final boss cutscene, with dialogue between the antagonist and the protagonist, a tense and unnerving ordeal. The two forces of the game finally meeting face-to-face, the entire purpose of their lives leading them to this conflict as if they are tied by fate. The villain revels in having put our hero through hardship after hardship, losing themself to the unyielding desire to simply *get this over with*, to do what they originally set out to do. Our villain taunts the hero with this fact, eager to bring up just how much has been lost in the pursuit of that goal. At around 0:32, a particuarly painful memory is brought up, and it strikes a nerve, with the hero showing a clear shift of emotions, from annoyed to *pissed*. More talking happens, but the words fall on deaf ears- the hero has heard enough. A camera pans to the normal combat position, the player expects to assume control for the epic battle as the villain continues listing all the things that were ripped away from the hero. The drop hits, the camera snaps to a wide shot, and that hero, fed up with our villain's shit, just rushed forward and removed that villain's arm in one swift motion without our input, using a technique that never was or will be available for the player to use. The camera lingers for a moment on a freeze frame of the sudden attack before then snapping back to a gameplay position, and the fight begins. Even as you take control and begin to rush for a strike at the boss, they continue to try and finish off whatever boastful things they had to say, finally giving up and facing you as a combatant once you bring a blow to them. Our hero speaks no words. There is nothing left to be said. Too much has been taken, debts are to be paid, and blood is a powerful currency.
