I enjoy your flosstube so much ! You share so much information that has helped me with so many areas of cross stitching . Please keep posting your wonderful flosstube !
Walking threads....I gave a gift to a friend at the weekend and to her surprise she found a walking thread inside! We had such a giggle 😂 long live the walking threads😊
Oh Merry , you are SO welcome . You have been such a huge asset to the stitching community over many many years . I am very honored to have taken so many of your wonderful classes. ❤️
Oh I love your videos, I'm late but I enjoyed every minute. Thank you for taking the time. I would also like to make the temperature tree, but from the years my children were born. Your great projects are also great, I am thrilled by your creative diversity. Have a great time, Martina from Germany🥰
So glad you enjoyed my video . Unfortunately I won’t be going to either of those retreats . I am going to Hobby House in late October though for the “ My Life is a Sampler “ retreat
Wonderful video. Hope it didn’t take too much effort to put everything back in its place. Always enjoy seeing the projects you are working on. Hope to see you at a retreat this year! Alphabet Stitcher
So glad you liked my video! It always takes a long time to put stuff away but this time wasn’t too bad because I am keeping all of my WIPGO in a huge Vera Bradley tote. How is that sampler comping along that Linda is charting for you ?
I love seeing all your projects and WIPGO's since our taste is so similar, but love that your stash includes so many class pieces that I'm not familiar with. Also enjoyed discovering along with you special gifts and pieces you've made as you opened the bags; always good to rediscover those special treasures. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
Beautiful wips !! Your retreat sounds like a fun experience and such nice token gifts. Walking threads is so true and sometimes they walk better than me😂 . Fun ft.
Hello Lisa, Thanks for a great WIPGO video! I appreciate all of the work that went into planning this. I look forward to following your progress on your projects. Have a great time at Salty Yarns this weekend! I wish I was there! Are you able to come to our spring retreat this year? ( April 26th-28th) Would love to meet you!
Thank you very much . I hope to get to Spring Retreat but I’m not sure . We are going to Italy in early May so I will have to see how it all works out .
So fun to see your WIPGO projects! We are at similar spots on Blueskin & it’s 1 of my called for this month. I’d love to finish it by GWs birthday - we’ll see. Lisa Abbey changed the fabric & floss & it’s beautiful! I thought of you when I saw on Rusty Crow Quilt Shop (OBX) website, wool advent calendars. Great shop if you haven’t been. Enjoy your trip to OC & thanks for sharing ❤️🪡🧵
I so enjoyed stitching with you this afternoon and seeing all of your WIPGO projects. I too am trying this for the first time so good luck to us both! Also you may have enabled me with the ornament of the month with Attic Heirlooms. The tee and subscription are in my cart. Just trying to justify with myself as I already have so many projects! Happy stitching.
Great show, Lisa. I was glad to see the variety of beginnings you had on all your WIPGO projects; it is helping me to attempt to keep going. 😂. I had no trouble finding 24 projects, although several of mine are in the… just kitted stage….😮. I didn’t do too well in January, as I am still struggling with getting my glasses correct after cataract surgery in Nov, having eye check in later Dec, and having glasses made. I spent 2-1-24 at eye Dr and getting new lenses for all the glasses I had gotten 😬. My group met today, and I was not able to go, so I don’t know what our numbers are for Feb.😢. I will be optimistic, you spurred me on, and hope I can be more successful, and not give up yet. I hope you can find the chart and picture you are missing. How frustrating our own organization or lack of said organization can be. You don’t really want to have to repurchase a chart. Thanks for an enjoyable time, tonight. Just keep stitching 🪡 💛
Thank you very much . You will get going on your stitching again soon . Should be better since you e had your cataract surgery. Glad to report that I found my chart that I was missing last night.
So much fun to see the projects that you're using for Wipgo. Thanks for taking the time for your channel! I hope to meet you one day at Liberty Hill at the Stitching Table on Wednesdays. I'm trying to get in the habit of going in to stitch. @ddestitches
Lovely update Lisa - and you have some great WIPGO projects. ❤. I did it for the last three years and had a great time. I’m only skipping it this year because I have decided to focus on getting my two oldest WIPs done and want to be able to just pick up whatever in between working on those. Have fun!
Complete inspiration!!! Gorgeous pieces! Thank you for sharing- I look forward to getting to my kitted projects…but, I’ve promised myself to stay monogamous and get Hannah Elliott (Needlework Press) done…she’s a BAP and think she’s “done me in” on BAPs for awhile! Thank you again - enjoy you and your flosstubes so much❤
Nice group of projects. Good luck with Wipgo. I did it for 2 years and it helped me with getting things organized and working on projects I had neglected. I chose to not do it this year because my goals do not work with the board. But it was fun and I enjoyed it for those 2 years.
It is always a treat to see a video from you, you are easy to listen too. You choose lovely designs to stitch. That showman is so cute, nice gifts. The snowman with the socks oh my what an adorable little guy he is. I love stitching on thin banding small and large. We all have had to put something aside in stitching when a loved one pass's it is great you will be back stitching the band sampler. Sub Rosa has so many lovely designs.
I always enjoy watching your floss tube. You showed a snowman with the socks could you find out where your friend found them. Also how many different patterns of the snowmen there are. Thank you
You are absolutely correct ! That bag was SO worn though! ( project has been in there a LONG time )I actually have a lot in plastic bags. Remember when they had 2 gallon zip lock bags . I’d love to get some of those again .
@@lisaduffin2114 Don't get me wrong, I have fancy project bags. But this obsession on FlossTube with owning dozens of these expensive storage bags gets to me sometimes.
Elizabeth Walsh looks Great with nice personalization. Cute Violets & Verses project bag!! I have about 6 of them, all so pretty. I've done a few Shepherd's Bush small kits.
Elizabeth Walsh was a fun stitch . Great to get her completed. Now to fully finish . It was always such a race to claim those Violets and Verses bags! I have a few and love them
Another awesome video, Lisa! I loved going down memory lane with many of the Merry, Catherine, and Sherri kits. My WIPGO board is similarly loaded with started kits that I hope to complete. I have learned from previous years doing WIPGO to set the bar low so there is room for our squirrels. Happy Stitching!
Great advice - I am glad to have motivation now to visit these treasures that live tucked away everywhere in my house . So great to see you at StitchAway!
WOW!!! What a FUN FILLED and PROJECTS FULL of GOODNESS!!! You have some GORGEOUS charts for 2024!!! Thanks for making this video! I really enjoyed it! I watched you on my flight from Orlando to NYC - you were more than half of the flight!!👏👏👏👏☺️💖
Hello from Carrollton, VA! I am getting back into the stitching world after a 20 year break. Wow has it changed. Love watching you and love your wall behind you! I know you must be loving the new shop in Williamsburg. I’ve been there twice with friends since they opened.
So glad you are enjoying my channel. The new shop is great . So lucky to have it so close . The owner Susan is a doll as is Kristin who works for her .
Ohhhh my! By the time you got through all your WIPGO projects I was howling with laughter. Let me tell you this….you’re going to love WIPGO! I played it for the first time in 2023. Like you I dragged out all manner of rombouli from years past…the oldest WIP being 20+ years. Again like you I was was appalled at the completion state of some of the projects. I lost count of the number of times I muttered “what WERE you thinking?!!” But going through all my starts and kitted up projects was one of the best parts of playing the WIPGO game. It gave me the opportunity to be realistic about the merit of keeping a project versus letting it go. The process was so freeing. I felt no guilt regarding those projects I let go and I have had no regrets. By the end of 2023 I had completed 22 of the 24 projects I selected for my board. I designated the final square to use for setting up the board itself. The two remaining projects are very close to being completely stitched. Sooooo was WIPGO a positive experience for me? YES! I hope you enjoy the process as much as I have. 2024 is off to a good start as I finished both new starts that fell into the called for numbers in January. Good luck with your board!
I enjoyed seeing your WIPs ( like seeing what you're working on period lol). I made a list for the first time. I know how you feel! Most are ornaments but I was a little shocked at how many there are. Not nearly as much as some but it's certainly put me off starting anything right now. Take care.
OMG! Just saw pic of your couch! I really feel for you trying to resort, straighten up, organize, and cleaning up all of your delightful projects which make you so happy 😊
