This is essentially flat but if you pay attention to the Build Rack settings you will see it is actually moving up and down, panel by panel. Before we built we layed out the posts, in this case with a high degree of confidence we could put posts where we laid them out, then we captured the elevations using a ZipLevel. With that information, the Fence Genius software guided us to prefabricate all the panels Offsite and then we Daisy Chain Installed them. Incredibly efficient, yet custom built for every Post to Post location!

ArcSite is a much superior software for fencing. This doesn’t seem to account for needing to offset your posts.

Apples and Oranges.... ArcSite is a software for an entirely different purpose. Fence Genius and the surrounding technology is the only platform to enable offsite prefabrication of post to post unique, software designed and directed fabrication. If your building fence onsite, your building fence panels on posts.... Why the reservations to building the same or better custom panels in a more efficient environment? Better quality control, inventory on hand, and a mouse click to the next jobsite 6 hours into the fabrication day....

@@fencegenius it’s a logistic nightmare at our scale. We would need double the SF to accommodate all the panels and moving crews out daily. Twice as much driving than needed, not scared of a little weather, work year round, only see this causing problems onsite delaying new jobs, already twice as scheduled out for installs as our nearest competitor, and make a good six figure income doing what I do. This is not practical for commercial installers, at least not around here. There are way too many issues come up in a regular basis weather it be unmarked utilities, huge boulders, old fence post concrete hard as rock, and so on. Customers change their mind the day of, or even midway into building the fence. The delays this would cause in the production process would be business losing and that’s not something a strong company will risk. You might get some new guys with just a crew starting out, seasonal, not worried about over spending or overhead….but seasoned professionals won’t likely even give you a chance, or stick with you long after running into a few issues.
What’s your longest client? I’m trying to help you as a business, bc I think there is potential for specific applications, but your normal fence builder is gonna have a hard time with this.
I’m certain this isn’t the first time you’ve heard this.
