Whats the average margin you try to go for? I have a smaller store and i try for high margin but im pushing towards fast moving smaller margin sales
We try to make our bottom margin a $10 profit as of right now.

Yes we do! But if it’s just a size issue we do not refund the original shipping charges. Our return was around 3% so it hasn’t really been a factor for us.
How much do you guys typically charge for shipping? Just curious if you do one flat rate or if it is dependent on the item!
We do $6.99 for items under one pound and $8.99 for items two pounds and over. We are centrally located so those prices will cover the cost for an item shipped to the farthest away locations for their respective weights

Curious..... How are you getting items at the thrift store for $2-$3 or even less that discussed in this video?
Cheapest clothing items at the GWs here are $5.
The $2-$3 price range items are from traditional thrift stores. They tend to not mark up lower tiered mall brand items. The ones here in Ohio have half off days so things that cost $6 normally only cost $3.
What do y’all do to survive the summer slow down?
We do what was in this video. We try to have plenty of options for everyone. That includes some cheaper mall brand items that make us $10 but more customers can buy them because of a lower ASP.
Would you pick up everything for $1? What brands would you not pick up for a $1. I think $5-10 profits is great in a volume business.
We definitely don't pick up everything for $1. Mostly Mall Brands that are In good condition and somewhat on trend!

We have a buy cost of $5 to $6 per piece and we sold 433 items. You still have to take out fees and shipping but we do fairly well profit wise.
Y’all should start like a chat group or something on Facebook or whatever like a private one like maybe where you have to pay to be in it
