With the lighting it's a very good idea to have all the light sources be the same color temperature and also take a picture in manual mode with the white balance set correctly so that you can make sure that when you take pictures in automatic white balance mode that it gets it correct. Also a good idea to calibrate your computer monitor to have the correct color balance.

What would be the commission split if friends gave you product to list and sell on eBay. They provide me with shirts and I list and ship. Please advise.
For stuff like that you have to think of how fast it’d sell, sure you might be able to profit off a forever21 top but it might take a year, so is it worth the time to list something like that

Yep, and thats why I dont deal with clothes. Its a long process and more than not thin profit line. Yes, some people make a ton in clothing, but the volume they have to do just to make it work. No thanks. Then of course taking all the measures, chest to chest, shoulder to hem etc. Womens clothing is far worse, they are so finicky, the chances of a return is high because they dont like how it fits. Thats why for any type of clothing I do sell, which is very rare high profit only, I always have returns turned on, but the buyer pays the shipping cost. I get tired of them returning it because they say it didnt fit like they hoped or they thought they were that size, but the company makes them smaller blah blah blah. BTW you briefly touched on it, but sale through rate should be used to filter out 90% of the items you decide to buy or not to resell.
Then you need to figure out where you could have gone wrong with the title, the price. Or maybe you bought a very slow sell through item that no one wants

When you send offers to watchers they can counter, so most likely that’s what happened.
