"The only people will really want to cause you harm, all staying in Canberra" LOL!!!
I grew up in the back of a troopy, with my 6 brothers. 9 people in total, my parents went from NSW to WA in it. It is why I love them
I love your soundtracks, knack of telling stories through research, talented scenic choices and gift of the garb.
I’ve never had an opening touch me like this before today. It actually spoke to me on the inside. It captured the absolute essence of why I explore and why folks like us do these adventures. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos. 🙏
My fav storyteller, movie maker and adventure.
If you don’t turn around to admire you vehicle after you’ve parked it, you’ve bought the wrong vehicle.
Yessssssss! Thank you for proving my point. Its why I got rid of the Dream Tourer!
@@4xoverland I tend to not hold onto a vehicle for too long if that feeling isn’t there either.
How truely true this is , I love my 79 so dam much, I usually have to refrain from talking about it to every stranger or Tom , dick or Harry that passes buy .
Most of them listen with great gusto and then at the finally of my heavily rehearsed , scripted ramble they politely inquire,
🤔 ummm what is a 79series !
😳😒.oh well !
Yes I do this with my 3rd 4Runner here in the U.S.
@@jaymoar3561 funnily enough, I’ve got a 2nd gen 4Runner
Thank you for the re-release. Thank you for making a FREE 1.5 hours long video for everyone to enjoy!

Just kidding, but for real, people like this deserve financial support from Patreons. Think about it for a moment, just the fuel costs and things like replacing worn out tires, it is serious money. If you can afford helping him, and if he really has this Patreon option, please think about it.
One of my top 3 favorites channels on RUclips I love Andrews work
I really enjoy this long format. The way you string the episodes together has greatly improved and is now seamless becoming first rate feature lenght films. Well done.
Kate takes after her mother and you’re a lucky man to have such an relationship with your child. Excellent presentation in spite of the flys.
Might have something to do with 20 odd years of parenting too mate? credit where its due hey
Kate is amazing! Strong as her mum!
Australia definitely a must for offroaders and overlanding! Beautiful land.
Too bad Australian's can't travel around Australia anymore.
@@Robert-cu9bm Why?
@@stasn3715
Because the borders were and some still are shut
I chuckled every time Paul opened that tent... Thank you Kate! Great film Andrew!
Thank you for this video. I love Australia and it’s ability to make you realise how beautiful the natural world can be, even beauty can be found in the almost lifeless looking places. Makes me want pack up and head off myself if only I had the time and a vehicle to do it in.
Congratulations for this excellent result. What a joy to be able to “visit” Australia while being roughly on the antipodes of it! Thank you so much to make it possible.
Greetings from Portugal!
I am from Namibia Andrew, and I COMPLETELY understand the fascination with the "nothing-ness". It is in thát nothingness that you find something : YOURSELF
Profound
Absolutely agree. I have driven the Nullarbor several times, both ways, and never tire if it. Just great viewing and thinking time. Would love to visit Namibia.
As an ex-Aussie who now lives in London (UK) I miss Nutrigrain - so much so I’ve been known to get it sent to me on several occasions.
This is what I love to see.
Keep putting these out
ASPW is without a doubt one of the best 4WD/touring/camping storytellers currently on YT... period
what an excellent feature length production !! I learnt alot along the way . definitely felt as if I was traveling there with you ! great to watch and see !!
Absolutely beautiful content. I’m so thankful you take the time to share these videos with us. Such a story telling. Thank you.
Certainly your daughter adds an amusement value and great coverage of a fantastic trip. Thankyou
.
I've just watched and loved part 1, thank you very much for showing it to us.
Absolutely loving the feature length videos, can't wait to get my new 4wd upto touring level again
Wow. I’ve been watching these type of vids on my phone for convenience over the last few years. I’ve been missing out! Watched the end of this one on my tv tonight, and it was so good! Will be watching these onto from now on, such a better experience, and such well made videos. Thank you!
I love this presentation!!! thank you so much for sharing the adventure. Cheers, Grant.
I absolutely love these films Andrew!!! 😊👍🏻
I love your videos. It is just plain honest and not into commercialism. Please do make more of these
Brilliant! What a joyful excursion with your daughter!
Fabulous episode. Cant wait for the next one. Thanks for sharing.
This is my favorite of all of your builds. It just hits the aesthetically pleasing spot
Love your videos - so real and franks.. love it
Fantastic video and adventure, Thank you Andrew
Another great one mate. Thanks
Mums genes are strong and delightful what a lovely little lady Kate is , thank you Andrew this episode was my favourite buy far can’t wait to watch part two.
Always great work Andrew.
Superb , Thank you!
What an amazing adventure in such a fabulously original country.
Don't get me wrong I was a big fan of the Aussie dream tourer! But after watching this series again... That troopy is truly an amazing overlander I forgot how much I love it! Can't wait to see how the new one turns out 👍
Beautiful!!!
Dankie Andrew. You inspired me to do Sani Pass now I'm wanting to cross Australia with my family. Love your work.
The adventurous spirit of you both. I love it 😂 you 2 are beautiful well done fam
Somebody give this man his own tv show already. When he talks it’s like he’s on tv haha
I used to frequently look back at my car to appreciate its beauty but now because it's MATANTA I do it no more or else I'll see falling parts. Cheers Andrew
Awesome as always. Loved the stereo flies :) great edit...
Really beautiful adventures and beautiful videos! Congratulations!
I once counted 128 carriers on a freight train passing thru Nashville, TN. It literally took 25 mins to pass thru slowly.
Excellent, loved it....
Many years ago we used to have a TV show called ask the Leyland brothers and Mike and Mel who were brothers which done many Australian documentaries and one of them was east to west. And when they spotted they got a bottle of water from the Pacific ocean and carried it all the way to Western Australia where they bought it into the Indian Ocean
Love the father daughter duo
I love trips with Kate, always funny
Great video, thanks
Whenever I go out to the outback even locally I always carry a couple of cans of Bushman insect repellent. And just tell Kate next time don't worry about the Flies as each fly is equivalent to 1 protein.😂😂
I'm like you, I don't like being around people either but get lonely when I'm alone hiking and camping. I just found your channel and subscribed.
There's Troopy entertainment, me happy.
Fantastic and Kate is a gem 💎
I loved the troopy from your videos!
😂 got to love the bush lollies great protein 😂 fly nets our the only thing keeping you sane !
At 20:10 in you perfectly described me when I travel alone. Not many times I'm afraid. But I always travel with my dogs. So totally understand you Andrew when you said missing company at night (same thing is happening to me) and totally avoid people during day. May dogs are more then sufficient.
Love your videos and documentaries also.
Such a wonderful video and what an amazingly beautiful country. I just bought dmax to travel around Australia. But we are still in lockdown. Can't wait to travel.
Excelent. From Argentina!!!
فلوق جمييل الله يعطيك العافية
Fantastic
I've had to do the same driving procedure to get rid of mosquitos, black flies and horse flies in mid-northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
what positiv and excellent person! cheers mate!
Great presentation mate 💥💥 much support from kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
How you present and engage your audience is awesome. You can do without any video support. I can listen to your talk on radio too!
Thank you so much 🙂
Thou art with me down all the days. 🙏😔❤️
Sitting in my bedroom in front of the computer I've never itched this much before without actually being near the bugs. To funny. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful footage of the Southern Ocean Andrew - John in SA
Awesome video, big red to the left of where you crossed is a lot more difficult, but not taking away from your crossing, great job
Great video, I really enjoyed it, especially when your daughter joined you, she is so cute.
Wish I could drive Australia again! Hopefully I can someday..
this was beautifully shot and edited.
Completely understand the statement you made at the 20 minute mark - travelling alone is bitter sweet
Sir, by seeing first 15min video we too have that feeling of your journey 😀
I enjoy seeing the downs to give a real experience!
Cool video from Canada
Been a long time since I heard any "Whinging Pommery".
Great video
Man I miss seeing this truck. How I wish we had these in the US!
Nice setup 👍
Great video, hello from Serbia
this lion confrontation is weird, as there is no big cat in Australia according to official sources...definitely sounded lionish though...^^
The Nullarbor has the longest golf course in the world, pack some golf clubs next transit... 😃 Love your vids thanks and safe trips.
First job watching a 4xoverland video........ Hit the like button, then sit back and enjoy 👌
well i did what have done with a 65 Holden sedan, with a winch attached. I had luxury, a 2 person tent, carried everything from water to 3 spare wheels. A few years later in a land cruiser FJ45 I did the gun barrel high way,,, look it up. Your trip is luxury, absolute luxury. Carried 60 liters extra fuel in cans,,, this was in the late 1970's. You have no idea. However, thanks for visiting and advertising my beautiful country.
Just a bit of trivia for you Andrew,
For each human on earth there are 17 million flies I think your share are with you on this trip.😱
Enjoy your travels stay safe.🙂
Gotta re-invent the tripod leg camping table that stays glued to all terra firma no wobbles included. For space I gotta revisit Namibia.
I know I'm late to the 0arty on this video, but this is absolutely amazing what you're doing. I wish I could travel like you, instead of being rooted to a 9-5 job.
If you document the first fifteen minutes some stalker would be able to track back to your home. DON'T DO IT
I've moved. And you are right. One did and broke into my workshop and stole stuff.
Yeah, Aussies all came to Australia, because the British did not really want them. Makes you wonder about nurture or nature, when posting a video STILL wakes the thieves up. Yuck! Maybe raise yer social benefits, when EVERYBODY has a decent income, there's no real need for stealing, huh?
Kate 3 min in the car and she makes it look like a skip😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣 Andrew you are legend 👏
16:08 The CWTZ is a compromise between Adelaide and Perth time and was created for the Eucla telegraph station and surrounding areas. Also, Nepal uses a 45min offset time zone.
Good tip on the painted steel rims.
I've had wheels come off the car at speed due to dust between the rims and wheel nut upon initial tightening particularly spare wheels used from the underside of the car.
Why did the silver painted wheels change to the black ones by the time the drone crashed ? Was it to fit the wide BFG KM3 tyres ?
27:24 Southern Ocean. The Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean at Cape Leeuwin in WA, and the Pacific / Tasman Sea is to the east of the continent.
30:08 Eyre is pronounced air.
Not trying to be "that guy". But if no-one tells you, how will you know for next time. Loving the video 😊
THE FLIES AAAAH
My son crossed Australia East to West across nullubor on a bicycle 20yrs ago, took him just over 30 days
Mate!
Would like to ask your time on making a video for newbies like me on how to do touring around Australia SAFELY, like road rules, camping safely, emergency things and so forth.
It will be sucha great lessons for all of us who wants to explore our great OUTBACKS!!! TIA
Land of the flys.
I love LC
Love this video. just a quick comment @19.45: I prefer "solitude" to "loneliness". Loneliness is an involuntary separation often perceived as a rejection, or abandonment by other people. Solitude is voluntary and can be wonderful.
