8:00 Having "the lid on" gentlemen, means that your carburetor is part of a "sealed" fuel system. The fuel system needs to be closed to contamination because the fuel goes into the compression chambers in order to ignite and move the pistons, which makes the "car noises" and makes the car go "vroom" eventually. Trash or other debris can block or enter the system if it's not sealed.
it’s not that serious for a demonstration, it’s “sealed” from the fuel pump forward and there’s a fuel filter before the carb. Learn what you’re talking about before you start yapping

Have you tried using old tires in your process as well? There are places in Pakistan that use the same method but with old tires.
