Jesse you need to slide the seat up that will help you. Jesse when you are going downhill you need to shift quicker and when you are going uphill you need to wait a little longer to shift. Remember both hands on the wheel except when shifting. Also plenty videos on doing your pretrip which is where most people fail! Don’t just point out what you are checking, verbalize it to the inspector. Good luck
