I'm receiving my bass today! I'm 42 and remembered that I wanted to play bass when I was a kid, but my dad said I had to learn guitar first, so I didn't. Now I'm doing this on my own, and I am so thankful for this resource! Thank you for doing this! I appreciate you!
Hey man, stumbled onto this video, great content! And also, great playing! Just as a quick tip, I would just keep an eye on the levels of your mic and the levels of your bass, seemed like your bass was a lot louder than your mic, once again, great content! Just wanted to give this small pointer!
New bassist about 2 years in - earned a sub. What is the best method of practicing - i primarily practice songs with tabs but need some technique drills to improve progress. Any suggestions?
Playing along with records will always be king. Pairing that with technique stuff is even better. Then applying the technique stuff into records is what brings it all together. I may do a video talking about that soon!
What kind of squier is that? I got mine today but I gotta take it to get setup . It’s dead spots In it. They charging 95 dollar to do a bass setup but I don’t know how to do it
It’s a contemporary Jazz squier. I beefed it up on the electronics side though. And some setups can be a little pricey depending on who’s doing it and what all they do.

Thank you a ton!! I was worried about that when I bounced the audio down. I’ll have it fixed in the next two episodes hopefully!

Like your contant bro. But you got to come prepared to teach.
It’s on the fly teaching brother. Not trying to be perfect and absolutely detailed to the T. Hopefully that don’t bother you too much but if it does 🫡
