Nathan told me the other day he wanted his music to be a genuine expression of himself and not just in the sense where he builds his brand on simply giving a false appearance of being genuine but truly going for it and trying to be honest in expressing his true thoughts and emotions. I always love the lyrics to these songs. They are so easy to relate to with some, almost impossible for others, but everyone can understand them when being portrayed by an amazing artist
There's such frustration and sadness in this... like, I can see someone holding their head in their hands in sadness in the beginning, then tearing at their hair in frustration while screaming... then tears. Also like an inner struggle put to words...powerful. It's very visual. Amazing, as usual. You emulate my motto: music is life, that is why the heart has a beat. Someone should do a dance to the instrumental portion. I can see it in my head... I'm not a dancer, but it should be done.
