Nice looking wrenches!!! like the length, thinness, and offset. However, instead of running consecutive sizes, they should have made the sizes 8x10, 9x11, 12x14, 13x15, 16x18, & 17x19 just to make things easier for German and Japanese auto techs. Capri continues to innovate and release exciting new products!!! Thanks for sharing!!
2 years in on my set. Rust is bubbling up behind the chrome. I enjoy the length, but they do dig into your hands. I got the snapon larger metrics to fill out the set. I can say I prefer the feel and design of the snapon.
Havent had any rusting on my set yet, they are more the "oh shit" or oh damn thats tight drawer for specific jobs so more like a once a week use not everyday however. Unsure if anyone else has that prob though
I follow both you guys....hell I follow most all of you.... I ordered me a set....Ive been using USA Craftsman double box jobs for years and have no complaints....there just short when it boils down to it so I figured I'd get a set of these im sure I'll love them
I have a set of Matco and I’m not impressed I have 2 snap on and I like them especially for the turbo flange nuts. May need to get a set of these. Thank you for the awesome first impression on them. 👍🏻
Only the ratcheting end of my GW long box ends is spline drive. The other end is very similar to these Capri. Having said that, I do have a number of Capri tools and they are top notch. Bought their Hex Bit set because of your review on it and it is top notch.
I love that style wrench. I have a metric set from Snappy and a old SAE set from Matco. $100 is a steal. Snap On wants over $300 for a similar set these days. It's impressive that the high polished chrome holds up. Usually you'll notice scratches in highly polished metal easier than a matte finish.
Well I am not sure how good they'll be but I bought the xl metric double box end wrench set for $98 with free shipping with them being so long maybe they will get me out of a jam one day if not they at least better be made well
Thank you for purchase and giving us the opportunity. We would like to hear your feedback once you have used them. You can share your feedback direct at support@capritools.com, thank you again.
On amazon as well as capri tools website, the whole set costs 120. You can also purchase wrenches individually as well on thwir site or amazon if there is a particular size you need. amzn.to/3DWaWZQ
They definitly have the reach to them and looking at some of the others i mentioned, prob one of the better price tags out there as well. thanks for watching! hope yall have good weekend!
Thankyou, they are pretty nice set indeed! Comparing them to gw would be interesting, i will have to keep eye out for other brands options at box stores as well to see what is readily available out there.
Had craftsman set with passthru a number of years ago, and dewalt, but gave all those away, just wasnt able to find anything appropriate on the diesel side that they would work any good for.
Those are just sexy!! Thanks man appreciate the shout out!!I would buy the capris is I didn't have the metrics but I am going to buy the capri standards for sure!
You would never get them on a nut with that long handle. I have some old Mac combination wrenches with the box end six point. Regular length. They look like new. Because nobody can use them! Even if you get it on a bolt there is no swing arc left to turn the bolt. Have you ever tried using a breaker bar with a 6 point socket in a tight space?
Hello, we will look into this for you, but you can use the Military form for now. Thank you for bring this to our attention and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Too expensive for how they are designed. One big big flaw is that the edges are not rounded. Try putting torque on those sharp edges out in the field multiple times. Second fact is that they look like rebrands of VIM. Same design from the sides. If the price was lower itd be a great value. The only advantage is that Capri can warranty if broken.
Well as for vim tools from what i was just able to find on amazon, 5 pc metric set was 127, 6pc capri set is 109. Amazon didnt show the lengths or too many photos so i honestly dont know who is longer, shorter. As for edges, the capri were no different than the mac usa ones i compared them too the other day as far as squareness goes. They arent sharp 90s, but do only have slight bevel to them. If that means that much to you, you could spend 500 on snapon truck or just grab rag to wrap if they hurt your hands.
You know CP!! That brightens my day. He know his sh*t. Shout out to CPP not
He and i had a falling out, that guy definitly loves his drama and berates anyone he can. I heard he is on a harbor freight kick these days...

They were listening. They offer them now. I purchased a set of them
Very nice wrenches. The older I get, the more I appreciate longer wrenches lol
The price point is amazing for what you are getting!
I have the Carlyle SAE set. I don’t use them everyday, but when I do, Priceless. Thanks Again for the video.
So awesome that you and CP met up! 👍👍

Very pretty articles with obvious usefulness. I think your buddy CP is terrific, for one thing, he could pass for my 32 yr. old son's twin.
A perfect wrench my opinion would be long 6 point with a reversible flex ratchet on the other. Same size on both ends.
Now that would be ideal!!!!
I agree, how is it that a wrench like this doesn't exist. I can't understand why there are very few ideal tools.

Cando I plan on getting a inch pound torque wrench. NMCB 5.
Rock on, After i did crypto and aviation on active went to 25 as a cm

They brand new bruh
Omg them wrenches are beautiful
Antonio Claudio Michael you can’t buy them here in Canada 😢
I have a set of these from Genius. They are definitely useful in certain situations.
These are the nicest double box end wrenches I have seen which capri would send me some tools to do videos in and use and demo
Sae 5 peice is 99.99 and metric 6 peice is 109.99
I just pulled the trigget on Toptuls about 3 minutes ago.
I would like to buy these I need some double box end wrenches
I want a set in 6 point metric and only come in 12point
Great looking and definitely a plus the extra length for those hard to reach places 👍🏻

I have a vim set of those but mine have a 15* offset as opposed to straight. I do want those straights though.
So what does this set of wrenches cost

*DAMN!!!! I LIKE THOSE!!!*
Great video bud 👍🏼
Look really nice I hope they come out with larger size ranges as well

Nice looking wrenches for sure.
Looks nice. I'd love to compare these to the gearwrench set I have.

Any way you can link me to the gearwrench set?
What spline drives did you have? I have a set of kobalt for a few years, they have been ok. But nothing to write home about .
Had craftsman set with passthru a number of years ago, and dewalt, but gave all those away, just wasnt able to find anything appropriate on the diesel side that they would work any good for.
@@BeardedSeabee82 agree!
109 dollers is a killer price

Hell yeah bud, and no prob! Was great to be able to see them alingside the macs as well and you made that happen!
Will Capri be addding larger sizes in the future? Top notch vid great job!!
I Hope so, would be handy for steering components on HD trucks
I need a set of those in my life lol good vid my friend.
I need these
Going to hold off till I find a 6 point that’s the same design. Only reason I would get them that long going to put lots of torque on something.
Wont blame ya on that one

Olsa tools makes a double box 0 offset 6 point wrench set
Those are deadly weapons id want them if going into battle

Vim makes a set that looks very similar
The thick is good until space is tight which is all too often more and more it seems
Available in SAE? Up to 1”?
Sae set currently goes up to 3/4 hopefully add on sizes down road
Shiny ✨
I have the matco set
These look very squared which idk if that’s a good thing
They have a wide thick beam to them but edges are rounded nicely. For as long as they are i do like that about them. Ao, not really a bad thing
@@BeardedSeabee82 thanks for the response as I am considering these but the squareness seemed kind of iffy
I like them. Maybe one day to replace or supplement my USA craftsman’s

I think i'd rather see one end be 6 pt ratcheting flex head
And that would make for THE long wrench!

It’d be cool if they made like a 12 piece set with metric on one side and sae on the other end
Why does Capri put a goat 🐐 mascot
Honestly, I do not know
Too much of lateral movement, no different than the cheapos being sold on Amzn.
