  • The native plant section at The Red Hills Desert Garden in Washington County, Utah has (almost) all of the species of Yucca native to the state. The only species missing where Yucca schidigera, Yucca nana, and Yucca baileyi. This part of the garden is absolutely packed to the brim with some of the best species Utah has to offer. Hopefully the word “Yucca” doesn’t loose all meaning after saying it so many times in this video lol. This video was filmed in January of 2022, hence some of the leafless plants. Thanks for watching, appreciate ya!

Yes I love Yucca baccata! It’s such a mighty looking species lol. Where in Utah did you see them by chance? I love to hear personal experiences because range maps are never totally accurate. Thanks for watching bro!

Yucca baccata does have a variegated form, but from my knowledge it is extremely rare to find. They are such a rad species, they have one of the most beautiful flowers of any species of Yucca. Thanks for watching!
