Do you have access to the Rolex stolen watch register or is there an alternative list?

I have paid Rolex to service and or to repair parts on a watch before approaching a dealer. One dealer who had in-house servicing said that I lost money because he could have restored the watch. Your next move to expand Charlie could be in-house servicing that I have seen in another used dealer's premises.

Good ep. Very few ADs even in the US are giving out the white hang tag nowadays. In a couple years im sure it’ll be almost impossible to buy a new rolex with the white hang tag. Only way to know if the dial is original is to send the watch to Rolex for service for $1200.
Unfortunately that would be the only way! Less and less ADs appear to be handing them out nowadays 👎
@@thehonestwatchdealer Yeah it sucks. Another way is to have the AD receipt state the dial color and full model #.

I have purchased a few Rolex watches and not once has the white tag been included. I was under the impression that ADs do not typically include white tags.
It’s the ADs who are being paid who offer with the 🏷️
You are 100% Right the white tag is Not included!
It depends where you are, different countries have different policies.
Here in the U.K. they are always supplied 👍
Between February 2014 and September 2022, I have purchased four Rolex watches from Goldsmiths in Oxford, and they all had their white hang tags, as they should. No white tag, no sale.

You’re dreaming about the white tag because outside of the UK, it’s almost impossible to get in most places…
Yes unfortunately a lot of countries have their own rules in regards to handing it out or not.
@@thehonestwatchdealer Seems an odd thing to lose sales because of though… In most cases.
What’s the importance of the white tag?
So it contains important information such as the serial number and dial code. With models with rare dials it proves the watch hasn’t had a dial swap 👍
What happens if a watch is stolen. Do you give them the watch back?
So the watch has to be held and the authorities informed 👍

I have never had a white tag with a Rolex.from Goldsmiths. What's the big deal, they all come out of the same factory!
True! However there can be some shady characters out there who could swap the dials out to make it appear a rarer model than it is 👍

How can you say people want to hype there prices saying watch has stickers but then you hype your selling saying it has stickers ???
It is an important reminder why the grey dealers want the white tag. Reason is because they r not experienced or has the expertise or ability to detect fake dials . The white tag merely serves as an additional safeguard that u actually bought it from rolex (or from the first hand owner) with full set . This goes to show the entire watch industry in a massive crisis. It will burst with counterfeit, mark my words and this will lead to a crisis 2.0 as severe as the quartz crisis . Not to mention, Apple Watch has officially gets into the lives of many affluent that rolex brand is targeting ( or pushing away since 2019)

What is your opinion, experience and advice the last few years of watches being stolen from people in public sometimes with physical harm etc. The reason for the video is to promote the enjoyment of and confidence in ownership in these types of watches. Other dealers buy damaged Rolex watches; the in-house technician restores the watches to look new. The watches are sold in excellent condition. The profits pay for the technician and yield a greater return for the watches.
