Talk about how life comes full circle. I (like many others) was obsessed with A&B and this album when it came out, and must've watched this video a hundred times. Several years later, I got a job for a company in Vancouver. I worked remotely in New York, but had to travel to the office once or twice a year. The office was located on West Hastings Street, and I kept wondering why that street name and some of the buildings looked so familiar, despite me never having been to Canada before that. Come to find out, it's because of this music video!
one of my best friends passed away this weekend, this was one of his all-time favorite songs. we had tickets to see above & beyond on December 10th in LA; that concert is going to amazing, you would have loved it Nick I wish you could be there to enjoy it with me. he ignited my passion for trance music & introduced me to Above&Beyond. his memory will forever live on in beautiful music like this. I used this track to go uphill Mt Ventoux in 2009. The year my favourite uncle died after i promised to call him from the summit. Taking the last turn to the 'tableau' and arriving at the famous sign, it brought tears to my eyes well hidden behind my sunglasses. I had to take a moment, not for being out of breath, but listening to this track bringing me closer to him at 1911m altitude. Thanks for this great song supporting me whenever i have difficult times.
