Month 4 of having this, my doc says it’s post-infectious gasteroparesis, most days I feel so uncomfortable in my body. I get so anxious about my health and future, but I’m still hanging in there!! sending love to everyone who has this, let’s keep fighting!! 💚💚💚 we have a lot of life left to live!!
I think I have this, it is not pleasant. There are days I almost need nothing to eat. And when I have a large meal my stomach explodes but my digestive system is not able to move food through in a good amount of time. I will have to research how to treat this.
Idiopathic Gastroparesis woman here… that upper abdominal pain and distention are absolutely awful… I am one of those cases that can only tolerate puréed foods and liquids… I cannot keep weight on and am past the point of that lifestyle changes and medications ( used for gastroparesis ) being used because they have not helped… I am getting referred to a specialist in gastroparesis finally.. after an entire decade of this progressively getting worse and worse . Hopefully with August being Gastroparesis awareness month they will keep researching and finding better treatments..
I’ve had this for six years now. Officially diagnosed recently but the symptoms have been consistent this whole time. I’m just now learning proper diet changes and how to help with nausea. Nausea is the absolute worst symptom of this. I can’t do much now but I hope to have a normal life someday
i feel this way this exact way. Sadly not enough people are informed about this and dont understand how hard it is to stay motivated and live normally. what diet changes have you tried if you dont mind me asking? a girl could use some help lol
@@hairstylistkjb Have they tried you on Mestinon yet to treat your gastroparesis? It's an older medication, but researchers have repurposed it as a new treatment option for gastroparesis and constipation, due to its beneficial effects on the vagus nerve and the muscles which help to push food through the digestive tract.
I've been dealing with these symptoms for four years now, since I was thirteen. I used to eat mountains but now I'm scared of eating a pebble, the pain is as sharp as a blade and as furious as flames. I've never vomited, so I haven't been loosing weight, I was accually gaining weight up until this past November when my smell and taste was so warped I couldn't eat. I went from 190lbs to 168lbs within a month, but I believe I'm slowly gaining back. The nausea is absolutely unbearable and the heart burn and constipation is just dreadful. There are days were the pain is somewhat manageable, other days, I don't even want to wake up. I'm young, but I'm always tired, always sick feeling, always just miserable. I see a gastroenterologist tomorrow, I'm hoping I can get help.

What was the outcome? My wife has severe pain in the stomach. Burning her skin with the heating pad. Goes away for 3 weeks, then comes back harder. Can you give us some advice?
My best friend has been going through this for YEARS. I have felt completely helpless watching them suffer so severely from this. It’s changed their life! And it took about 6 years to get this diagnosis.
WOW. That's an absolutely LONG time to get a proper diagnosis. I'm sorry that they are going through this. I'm sorry that you all are going through this. I pray you all's strength in the LORD IN THE MIGHTY AND MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. AMEN. 💜🩵💙
I thought I was pregnant at first with the nausea and server upper stomach pains that comes and goes (I call mini contractions) I drink water/eat the pain becomes more severe... I haven't been diagnosed yet but had an ultrasound yesterday and was told it could be a possibility. I can't imagine living like this every day .it's only been three days and I can't be myself. Carly Brower we’re all in this together, I had to get an endoscopy and so many tests done. I’ve lost about 30 lbs and it’s been like this for 3 months. I would vomit and get so bloated. I can barely eat, I take a few bites and get so full. I can’t enjoy food anymore. My anxiety is so bad now :/ this sucks

I have hital hernia ( diagnosed in 2015) i have chest pains all the time. My anxiety is bad an stress. I have to take antidepressants, Xanax and acid reflux medication. I had the 4 hour emptying ex ray down to get diagnosed an couple upper GI's done. Waiting on my biopsy to come back. Praying for all of us. 🙏 ❤

Figured I’d share my experience of GP with everyone. I’m in my mid twenties, not diabetic, no known neuropathy. No previous history of gastric problems until late March a few months ago. I started noticing foods I had normally eaten with no issues started causing bloating, abdominal pain/discomfort etc. It was seemingly intermittent in early March. I had days with no perceived issues and then as the month progressed, it became daily acid reflux, daily loss of appetite, early satiety nausea etc. Not much in the vomiting however. But as time went on to June now, I was put on omeprazole for the reflux which helped tremendously. However, as a result, I wonder if my stomach acid is TOO low thereby hindering my digestion, slowing it down to a crawl. After all, I had been on 40 mg omeprazole for 8 weeks. Just recently cut that dose in half. But what has helped me so far is to eat small portions for meals. I try to eat 5-6 small meals that add up to around 1,500-1700 calories (I’m a 170 lb male). In addition, I’m getting a gastric emptying study done on Friday to see the severity of my gastroparesis- or to even rule it out. My dr is also putting me on mirtazipine because I struggle to sleep at night. I have abdominal pain/discomfort that can last for hours at night. Looking into gas x. Have seen good things about mirtazipine so hopefully that will help improve my symptoms considerably. But this condition is brutal. Your relationship with food changes, your daily outlook changes, your mental health can suffer. You feel as though you’re being punished for just trying to survive and get your body the nutrition it needs.
Wow! I’m scheduled to get the GES done next month and it seems like it’s gonna take forever to get here. I’m hoping someone cancels and I can get in sooner. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I went from a completely healthy person working 60 hours a week to being bed bound, weight loss. I had an endoscopy today and am scheduled for an solid phase gastric emptying study and the doctor thinks I have gastroparesis. I so hope I can get my life back and go back to work. Being stuck in bed vomiting is wearing on my phsychi.
This has exactly happened to me man, I used workout so much, eat 7 meals a day then I got a really bad stomach virus, puking for a week and after that my stomach hasn’t been the same. Vomiting, early satiety, nausea, bloating and weight loss. I just recently had an endoscopy as well, hopefully they prescribe me some medication to help. It’s been like this for 3 months.

Thank you. This video was very informative and easy to understand. I just got diagnosed with gastroparesis after dealing with issues with my stomach for over 10 years. I'm grateful to have found a doctor who listened to me and cared enough to figure out what was going on. My first appointment with her was 2 hours. She was patient and empathetic. My advice to anyone who feels like they are not being heard and dealing with symptoms of this disease, you know your body and what you're experiencing. Keep a daily journal of everything you eat, how you feel after you eat, any weight loss, what foods affect you, and be very specific. Get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion if you're not satisfied with your doctors diagnosis. Take care of yourselves.

@@Rohan-xn9lv My initial tests came back clear of the disorder, but they said I did have some damage, which could later result in the disorder if I don't correct the problems that cause it. Thank you. I’m still trying to learn all I can about this. I’ve got severe gp due to SLE/dysautonomia. I was supposed to start a liquid diet in June. Here it is September and I’m continuing to torture myself with “real” food. The whole “lifetime” thing of liquids/puréed food is so not appealing. Then neither is this pain. I hope you touch more on gp.
My sister and nephew both have this and as I was sitting here watching this video I remembered that they both had pyloric stenosis as infants. Both required surgery at only a few weeks of age. It's quite a coincidence that they both have this condition now. It causes a lot of problems for them. I will have to ask them if their doctor's know about their surgery as an infant. Very interesting.

The following blended mixture currently works wonders for my gastroparesis. • 500-600ml water • 3-4 table spoons raw/organic Baobab powder • 350-400ml raw/organic Aloe Vera juice • 1 -2 teaspoons raw/organic Aloe Vera powder 1 teaspoon raw/organic moringa powder( please feel free to leave that out as it doesn’t reek and tends to make most people sick Good luck ❤️
I had my gallbladder removed the acid isn’t controlled because it causes pain and I sometimes vomit it in the mornings, but the vomiting is worse and every after a meal, even after drinking tea or water, the heartburn comes and go because I’m taking Topzole, hours after I’ve eaten, I always vomit un digested food! I’ve done probably all the tests but my doctor hasn’t checked if the valves open and close probably or not! After seeing this,I’m changing doctors because you just explained exactly what is happening to me, for over a year! I just want to eat food without getting nauseous and vomiting! The Sphincter is definitely not working, and the vagus nerve is damaged , i go tho the toilet probably once a week and I’m constipated because no food goes down!
Thank you for sharing. I've been dealing with the same issue for over 10 years. Not a lot of throwing up, but I still do. I am always nauseous and I can't seem to gain weight over 128lbs. I am a 36 year old woman. I've also had my Gallbladder removed( I was told I had gallstones) but then after the surgery they told me I didn't have them and that I'd be fine without it... ALL LIES, IT'S BEEN HELL EVERY SINCE.😢

Just a few minutes ago I had symptoms of upper stomach cramps. Trying to self diagnose, I ate some chewy candies (Snickers, Milky Way, etc..Halloween stuff), about 10 minutes before this happened. My abdomen area felt very congested and stiff, I could not breath normally.I thought I would have to get medical help. Thinking that the candies were stuck in the path going to the stomach, I drank some hot water and kept breathing deeply and moving my arms. Finally after finishing the cup of hot water, the congestion went away. Whew, I was glad. But now I am wondering if this is going to happen again. I had a medical checkup for my heart meds a couple of weeks ago, and it did not show a diabetic condition. Then I looked up this video that may be of help.
@Augustas oh god no, I just noticed a lot of issues I had been having were similar, I didn’t say anything about it I just did all the tests my doctors ordered and was eventually diagnosed with it. Anyone reading this: I used to have idiopathic gastroparesis. I suffered for years. After being shouted at by my horrid boss and getting myself signed off sick, I magically got better. It was then i learnt that my gastroparesis had been caused by stress. Since walking out of that job, i have been pretty much cured, with only the occasional fallback during stressful times. Now obviously mine was a rare case and i know most causes are not through stress, but i wanted to reach out to anyone who might have idiopathic gastroparesis and is out of ideas/options. Leave that dreadful job; your happiness is way too precious.

Hate that I can't eat as much as my body needs! It also causes so much fullness that it feels hard to breathe sometimes. HAve to increase stomach acids and improve digestion.
Found out that i had major Gastroparesis, years ago. I started using b12 under the tongue a lot. Also puting Reglan under tongue to try to get it into my body. Over time the sickness got better. I only use the Reglan tiny pieces at a time. Also altods peppermints help really well. I hope this helps. B12 is very low with this disease, the stomach lining gets thin. Its the slime that protects from acid. Eat slow, chew all the way. Lots of water with food. Vitamin supplements a must.

I have this, I believe mine was caused by untreated Lyme Disease for years. Even after being treated for Lyme, I still have it, but it’s not as bad, the constant stomach pain, vomiting. I have nerve damage in other places as well. And Zithromax does work,.
I think I had it once temporarily when I was traveling with family. On the way back on a bus I was starting to feel nauseous, and suspected that it was car sickness (even though I've never experienced it beforehand). I didn't think much of it because it was bearable and drank some iced tea. I got full really quickly so I stopped drinking it. A few hours later I still felt that the drink was still in my stomach somehow. Even worse, I had to sit through this an entire night trying to force myself to sleep in discomfort. It was still in me next morning. And once the bus came to our destination I tried to get up, but once I moved I immediately felt like I needed to vomit. So I grabbed the bag nearest to me and let some of it out. I started to drool out a lot of sour saliva rapidly still feeling some of the sickening drink in me. So I went to the back of the bus with the bag still drooling a lot. My vomit clearly looked yellow like the iced tea I drank with nothing else mixed in somehow (as I remember it, I'm not sure if there was anything else in it). But even after all of that I didn't feel hungry at all. I actually felt so full to the point that if I ate a single bite of food the whole process would happen again. So I didn't feel like eating for many days. But I felt like I was getting weaker so I gave in to eating some food even though I didn't feel like it a day and a half later. My family were concerned but felt like it was car sickness or food poisoning; but I don't think that would make a drink stay sergeant in my stomach overnight sitting in a bus of all things. Plus I had really bad dihheria for more than a week with some nausea on the side. It was not a fun vacation I tell you. But thankfully those nightmarish symptoms got away after a while and returned to my daily life. But I realized that I get full more easily than before the incident happened, but didn't feel nauseous or sour drool coming out of my mouth so I didn't think much of it. But now I'm starting to feel discomfort after eating almost a year later. I told one of my parents, but thought it's just food poisoning again, but I suspect it's this. I want to get tested but I don't think my parents will let me because medical care where I live is really expensive so I don't know what to do.

I was recently diagnosed with this one week ago. They don’t know why, No diseases, ekg for heart is good, blood panels came back fine. Only thing I can think of is ibuprofen I take for headaches. Anyway, until I can get into the gastro Dr. In a couple of weeks, following the BRAT diet. Bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. White bread only, low fiber everything. If u have veggies, use frozen or canning don’t eat them raw as it’ll be way too rough on your stomach. I also use an ice pack or heating pad on top part of my stomach after eating to get blood flow going better . It always hurts after I eat now so this is what helps & make sure u take walks after eating, that helps as well.
Gastroparesis should be suspected in patients with nausea, vomiting, early satiety, abdominal pain or bloating. We perform upper endoscopy followed if clinically indicated by computed tomography/magnetic resonance enterography to exclude mechanical obstruction or mucosal disease as a cause of impaired gastric emptying. Delayed gastric emptying on scintigraphy is required to establish the diagnosis of gastroparesis

my mum has had this condition for about 4 years lots of long stays in hospital with drs not knowing what the problem was and finally had this diagnosis. (longest hospital stay 42 days). With my mum it started after she had shingles which she was being sick with so we think this initially caused the damage to the stomach nerves then it developed from there. She is diabetic as well and struggles as none of anti sickness medications work for her. she has boughts of sickness that last for weeks and sometimes we need to go to hospital for dehydration so she can be on a drip as she cant keep water down. This was a really good video as there isnt alot of information out there for this. I am interested to know more about other treatments as we feel we have tried everything.
If im eating anything.. then im up at 4 am with the pain and severe nausea . Bile in my stool and vomit .... Always early in the morning, I get so scared and so anxious.. We really do have to keep fighting 💪 😪 🙏❣
I have a tiny sniffle and a very minor cough. 😷 my entire body and eyes have been aching, I’ve been tired and sleepy. I have vomited 🤮 four days straight. I eat my meals within a four hour window. But I have found that I was getting full very quickly and then I was getting nauseous and dizzy. Turns out nauseous and dizzy means you need to go chuck your cookies 🤮. I always got relief from the nausea and dizziness after vomiting. It’s a furiously strong projectile vomit 🤮. It’s better that you sit on a toilet and barf into a trash can at the same time because the violent forces will make things come out of every end. Projectile vomiting in the shower is also a good idea for easy clean up. Because of my tiny sniffles and minor cough I’m gonna guess I caught some sort of virus. This virus is causing me to have stomach paralysis. My food is NOT getting digested. Hours later or even the next day it’s just there in my stomach and chest area undigested. Basically my Body is asking me to fast till this virus is eliminated. For the people going to the doctor and getting diagnosed with Gastroparesis you may just have a virus which means the stomach paralysis is temporary. I seem to get this stomach paralysis every time I get a virus-so I Know it’s temporary. 4:45 when I got the real original Covid I vomited for a whole month with this stomach paralysis and lost zero weight. 😮
I had gastroparesis from untreated hypothyroidism. Full after 1 to 2 bites. Full all day. Very bloated after eating. Went away with thyroxine. Of interest my TSH was in "normal" range but it wasn't my normal. I have no doubt some idiopathic cases are undiagnosed hypothyroidism.
@thespiritbomb Yes I had hypothyroid symptoms. I was so convinced it was thyroid related I requested all the thyroid labs including both thyroid antibodies (thyroid peroxide antibodies and thyroglobulin antibodies). Both thyroid antibodies were high showing I had Hashimoto's thyroiditis (an autoimmune disease that is the most common cause of hypothyroidism in developed countries)

Another cause, not mentioned: E.D. I was severely bulimic for 10+ years to the point of accepting I would likely die by it. 8 years later, no more bulimia but EVERYTHING about my daily life is affected by the aftermath of destruction to my body. I struggle greatly with nutritional deficiencies. My ability to absorb nutrients is a major concern. Wounds are so slow to heal and it's not such a stretch to say I've lost probably half of my hair. Between the Vagas nerve damage and the dysbiosis in my gut, I reek of depression and anxiety that is only worsening. Not sure why I'm commenting this.. I guess just to add one to the causation list and bitch about my own bad choices lol
I figured it out on my own that I don't have gastro paresis. Found a video about vitamin B1 from Dr Berg, bought some started taking it and my stomach works again. I no longer take hydrochloride pills by the dozens anymore.
Also a former chronic bulimic. Same issue with intermittent episodes of idiopathic g.p. Lots of soups and liquid meals are my solution. It is very miserable, but such is the consequence of years of self-abuse of the digestive system. Nothing to do but try to live with it the best you can.
You didn't mention how it is found in people with Ehler's Danlos Syndrome a lot. That's what I have. For me, the motility is always slow but then it flares up. I know I'm about to have an attack (for want of a better word) when I begin to burp sulphuric smelling burps. Now when I say burp, these burps last for 10 seconds long. Then farts just as long. My whole stomach fills until it feels like it will split, with air and I have to keep releasing it. This goes on for hours and hours. Finally, I'll feel sick and I will throw up and have diarrhoea and the same thing comes out of my mouth as what comes out the other end. A rancid brown sludge of fermented rotten food. My body keeps expelling this for hours because the food that was sitting fermenting in stomach acid has become poison and the body needs to get it out. Then I'm afraid to eat for a day after and take it easy. Is anyone else's like this? The flares come and go but the slow motility is always an issue.

Thank you for mentioning Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, I've never heard of that before but I fit so many of those checkmarks too along with what I'm thinking is gastroparesis. I'm doing much more research but I can't thank you enough for sharing your story, knowing we're not alone has been life changing.

Because the food is not digested fast enough, it proceeds to small and large intestines where it ferments, causing vad dysbiosis (symptom gas). The overgrowth of bad bacteria destroys the colon lining mucous and I got leaky gut, food particles get into bloodstream which causes immune response amd inflammation. This caused histamine release and intolerance with bad headches and sleep disturbances. One thing led to another. With dietary changes I feel so much better now I can even exercise again.

Excellent video explaining a complex issue . I'm a prime candidate for diabetic gastropsresis. Diabetic for over 40 years, have hiatus hernia, acid reflux and had hysterectomy. Also diabetic neuropathy. 2 years ago went through the worse with constant vomitting and couldn't eat. I lost 23 kilos in 6 months. My health is now at its best with low glucose. Hypertention, etc. Even stopped using sleep apnea stuff but the gastroparesis still makes me vomit even though I eat soft food like a mouse. I can't win!!! Is there any advice or something to help me cope you can tell me. Thanks for your patience.
I have this, I think due to medication. I have several rare conditions and take a lot of pills, including oral chemo. With my vomiting, it comes on so quickly. I’ll start feeling nauseas and then thirty seconds, I will vomit. It’s so strange. I hate going out because of this, because of how sudden it is, I get almost no warning!
My brother has this and its gotten really bad. We need to get him a pacemaker but with all this coronavirus going on, he cant get into the hospital. He is severely underweight and barely eats because he gets sick when he does. Truly worried.
@@StorminNormin12 thank you so much!! Hes doing alot better now. Instead of a pacemaker they gave him medicine which seems to be helping. His appetite is still very weak but boy can he eat pancakes 😭
I am so scared I have this. I went to the doctor for what I thought was a resurgence of GERD. He gave me a diet for people with GERD, gallbladder problems and this. He said he found nothing in the endoscopy and called like immediately after I got it. My normal medication I took the first time isn't helping as much and my mouth has been getting really dry. I am supposed to see him again in 3 weeks but I am so worried about what will happen up until that point.

I'm fairly certain the cause of my gastroparesis is having to be on proton pump inhibitors. The reason I think this is because when I wasn't on them, I could digest food normally, and this isn't the first time I've needed to take PPIs. Years ago I had to and the same problem occurred, then when I stopped them, it cleared up. Now I'm on them again and gastroparesis returned. Unfortunately, I need to be on PPIs due to GERD and erosive gastritis. Both of those can cause far more damage if left uncontrolled, so I need to put up with my stomach not emptying efficiently.
My gerd cleared up 90% by going off of PPI's, following a low carb diet and taking melatonin. There are studies on how effective melatonin is for this!

Jmxnoz hey may not answer you but ive been feeling the same. Im so severely nauseous that i just lay down, i cant eat and when i try i only can take like 3 small bites and i feel full or even sicker, the only way i found to eat a lot is to smoke medicine and eat. But i have been having SEVERE acid reflux and i thought thats why i felt like this but i found out it could be Gastroparesis as a lot of people with POTS has it and i have POTS.. this is the second time in a month feeling like this, the first time it lasted a week, and i lost 10 pounds in that time.
Same. Eat a couple of bites , get waves of nausea or just a sharp/sour like pain in my stomach ( hard to explain). I am completely exhausted yet starving because even the smell of some foods make me puke. I’ve lost a bunch of weight over the last couple of months but this week has been the absolute worst . I also get super bad abdominal pain almost like period cramps that also trigger nausea. I am damn near out of energy at this point 🤦🏽♀️
Had this about 4 years now got endoscope done twice and doctors thought all I had was a stomach ulser . I've been vomiting nearly every day and went from 17 stone to 11 in just a little over a year. I never am sure what's safe to eat and drink. I hate having it can't eat as much as I'd like to. 😒
i have idiopathic gastroparesis i have /had the nausea with little to no vomiting at all(ever since i was about eight i wasn't able to vomit) with the early satiety &postprandial fullness (i when three week with little to no food ) upper /mid abdominal pain and i had trouble losing wight (i believe that is because i cant vomit) . i had the upper endoscopy and that i showed i still had a full stomach contents after 12 hrs of fasting . my treatment is an all liquid diet i had add some every soft food but had to go back to all liquid again . I believe I had gastroparesis since i was little but my pediatrician didn't want to listen to me or my parents when i told i was having abdominal pain and just keep putting my on the BRAT diet which didn't help at all i didn't find out i had until July 24,2017

Can the stomach ache from this condition be relieved from making yourself vomit & emptying the contents of the stomach? I have gallbladder stones & chronic kidney disease but i don't think its the main cause as the pain is around my belly button. Flares ups often come after eating certain foods, caffeine, spices, chocolate, onions, alcohol, etc, causing acid build up. I find undigested food in my vomit long after i had eaten.

Same I miss being able to eat anything I feel like eating. I miss pasta so much
I miss eating my favorite foods
I used to get excited about cooking and going out to eat with family now I don’t at all. I still have a slight appetite but it’s never strong enough for me to get comfortable enough to enjoy any foods. I’ve lost 10 pounds in two weeks and my weight never goes up. I’ll either gain the ten pounds back slowly and stay at that same weight but I can’t seem to gain any weight.
Me too
does anyone else have a constant weird and uncomfortable feeling in their upper stomach/ their chest that only goes away when your up and moving? it’s so bad when i sit.
that sounds like really bad GERD
Yeah I just got diagnosed today but yeah I guess we gotta keep moving cause we we sit its no good exercise and mobility just gotta keep moving
it killed me today
I feel better if I lay down when I feel the upper stomach heaviness.

Precise and to the point! Thank you.
I think this is the reason why even if I eat small meals I easily get full and have nausea and not able to gain weight

@cherylallison1968 can't take it back but wish I hadn't
Hate that I can't eat as much as my body needs! It also causes so much fullness that it feels hard to breathe sometimes. HAve to increase stomach acids and improve digestion.
Apple cider vinegar helps !
Dont drink water with meals, you dilute stomach acid. Drink it 40min after you eat. Cheers.
b12 means? B12 vitamin?

I've bee to the doctor more than once and they keep saying acid reflux; no ultrasound or x ray and this problem just wont go away , I'm really worried as my mom died from pancreatic cancer. I just can't take the pain anymore. Causing anxiety and depression. I'm ready to DIE
This is what I have. It gives me anxiety attacks. I have been doing good. Lost alot of weight but ima be ok. I switched to a fiber diet. Ate less. Most importantly listened to my body.
When it hurts does it allow you to eat,do you have appetite for food at all?....coz that's exactly what's happening to me.
@@doriscandy3396 nope I don’t eat at all. I was so scared to eat I just drank water some days And when I’m hungry I eat very slowly and if I’m feeling just a little full I stop. Another bite will have me sitting still for 4 hours. I switched to a fiber diet and my stomach feels a lot better. It’s not so bad now actually in fact I would say it’s almost gone. Something else was causing fullness (meaning it wasn’t no injury or surgery damage) I don’t know what it is but right now I don’t have gastroparesis. I recommend a doctor. I kinda just toughened it out unless your me I don’t recommend at all.
Where do you live man

Partner been to many doctors. Not one has said this ! Still in pain most of the time for years 😡 and they dont care. Make waiting half year or year to be seen but pay more health !

Yikes! Definitely going to stop Ozempic.
my mum has had this condition for about 4 years lots of long stays in hospital with drs not knowing what the problem was and finally had this diagnosis.

Thank you for explain this so well. Much better than my drs

100%! i have diabetic neuropathy & gastroparesis, my stomach nerves were and still are affected after i got diabetic neuropathy in hands & feet first, i have severe gp 5% movement after 41/2 hour neclear test, i believe my gastroparesis was brought on by metformin or constipation. Studys show im leaning towards metformin.
Do you take digestive enzymes or anything to help you be able to eat. This sucks so bad. I am beyond tired of having gastro paresis.
THIS!!! oh my god i had no idea this would happen it is so physically uncomfortable

I’ve had this for 4 years now, but didn’t know what it was. For me the worst is stomachaches, belching, headaches and tiredness.
Which diet did you follow?

I was just diagnosed with this. Mine is idiopathic though.

@@jueviolegrace5915 Sorry no i haven't noone seems to grasp they are all interlinked conditions. its mad they want to treat symptoms not issues... so im taking it into my own hands and researching everything i can.
@@StarSnow1101 Im t2 my diabetes is under control and im insulin resistant hence the confusion.
@@LivingTheStaffordLifeuk Try a reasonable calorie cutting diet. Gum, sugar free candy (and some sugar hard candy if you're low on sugar), and electrolytes in your liquids.
I had a microdisectomy in my spine 2 years ago as I had very bad sciatic nerve pain could this be a cause of gastroperises
Awesome video, finally, thank you,
I am Suffering this Disease for 5 years
Got type 2 diabetes so got this best thing is to eat small amounts throughout the day
14yrs iv had gastroparesis I hate it im at the end of my wit with it
Can the stomach ache from this condition be relieved from making yourself vomit & emptying the contents of the stomach? I have gallbladder stones & chronic kidney disease but i don't think its the main cause as the pain is around my belly button. Flares ups often come after eating certain foods, caffeine, spices, chocolate, onions, alcohol, etc, causing acid build up. I find undigested food in my vomit long after i had eaten.
i was born with this condition and ive hated it ever sense. they gave me erithromyicin as a toddler. it went away. but then it came back in 2020. they have resulted to giving me surgery every 4-5 months. my doctor told me i am probably the worst case shes ever had 😀👍
Wowwww thank you thank you thank you

This is exactly what I’m experiencing since having Covid!!
Hello,
Even I have suffered this
But now I have started adding raw green chillies, 4 or 3 chillies with breakfast, lunch and dinner
Now I am feeling good, cleaner gut and feeling light
Also add exercise and avoid excess protein consumption, rather prefer balance diet.

You should add Ozempic to that list and warn people of the dangers of it. It absolutely causes gasteroparesis.
I’ve had gastroparesis since 2004, but it got really bad in 2015 and I had to get a feeding tube. Mine is cause by a neurological condition called Transverse Myelitis and certain meds I take. It attacked my spine and where the attack was it affected my autonomic nervous system.
do you still have a feeding tube?
Idk Idk yes, a GJ.

I’m so sorry…🙏
I don’t understand why we get prescribed meds that can cause this down the road?? It’s absolutely miserable.
How to know if I’m having a verve issue or if there is an obstruction
It's get better after storm 🙏 really watch what you put in your stomach including different medications. Mentally fasting without a choice in the matter.
