I’m advanced from a theory perspective and the problem here is Arlen is moving between keys and not really explaining that, assuming the people watching know that he’s gone from the E blues to A blues to D blues. It’s happening too fast to be truly useful.
I'm not "advanced" from a theory perspective but I recognised this, too. I guess the holes there made me scratch my head for a few minutes, which can be a really good thing. I was waiting for an example of the iV chord (B7) which never came - that's when I realised. In essence though, very insightful stuff! Head scratching for the win here 💪
Thank you Arlen. You improved my guitar playing tremendously. I really enjoy the lessons and the way you teach.😊
What a great usable lesson
I’m a teacher myself and a good deal of my teaching style comes from watching your VHS tapes years ago Sir. You’re a Great teacher, Thank you!

Thank you Arlen and Sammy Ash!
So many kids today miss out on the basics, dismissing it as too easy, the reality is it's not easy to do properly, it's a solid foundation
I always find it helpful to hear the intervals pointed out, as Arlen does with this very clear and well presented little lesson. Thanks!
You SIR always have some new for me you !i still use a turnaround wich i learned from you about 30 year ago thanx Arlen !!! :)
Thank you, Arlen!! Great fundamental lesson and examples.
