Camping on tiny island (fish everywhere!) Gunflint trail

Got to run back home for the weekend with Shea and Cache. It was Cache's first time camping and he did a really good job. He loved playing in the water and licking fish so much and I'm sure he wants to go back as much as I do.
The Gunflint Trail in northern Minnesota is an awesome place and if you haven't been there please click on the website below and consider booking a trip to the resort I grew up on! You gotta see it!

I fish the first time Gunflint Lake in 1964. I was 14 with my relatives. They started in the middle 50’s. The island we camped on is the second island coming out of little Gunflint every opener. They called Trettel Island after my relatives
