Friday Update! My hair still has definition, it’s super voluminous but I can tell that my hair needs a little moisture. My hair isn’t dry but it’s lacking the moisture for sure! My hair held up pretty well with the gel for 5 days!
The xanthan gum scares me LOL!!! But, these results?!?! Yes, ma'am!!!
I was reluctant to buy also because of the xanthum gum. Every product I've tried with xanthum gum or pectin have been major fails. My hair loves this gel!
I was the same but it did not give me any flakes.

I am not a fan of gels but this gel works for me. I agree that it’s not as moisturizing as curl maker but this gel makes my hair lasts for a week which is very rare for me. Using less of this product seems to give less of a cast without interfering with the definition and hold. Love this product. Your hair looks nice. Thanks for sharing. We need to support minority entrepreneurs.
Hey love I agree. Had a cast in the front of my hair but no cast anywhere else in my hair. And I’m all about supporting black owned businesses. I def try my hardest to do that. Thanks so much for watching 😘

So happy you tried this gel. Was on a live with the owner recommends no leave in. I used the tgin rx leave in. My wash and go was super defined and had shine. I experienced minor flakes but I need to try without a leave in conditioner. I love this product.

YASSS! I got on this gel in late March thinking that I could use this during the summer months. This gel does not disappoint!!!! Kacie Alea's vid introduced me to it. I use a leave-in underneath it. So far, it pairs well with CurlSmith, Soultanicals, TMC, NLS and SheScent It leave-ins. This is my new Eco as far as gels go!!!! A little goes a long way no need to pack it on.

NJ your hair looks great! I have that gel. I used it once. I might have to go pull it back out. I found it gave me a piecey wash and go which is not my fav look, but I wonder if I change up my technique will it give me a different look?? Hmmmm Anyway, great video per usual. Just tried this gel! Uhm, tryin to find something better than wetline! It’s alright, would def use it again but it made my hair a little dry and dull lookin.. not better than wetline tho but not bad! Thanks for sharing! Your hair looks great!

The first time I used this I loved it! That was back in March. I recently used it again and my hair was a frizzy mess by day 3! The glycerin did me dirty. I'm going to wait and try again in the fall. Not a summer gel for me!
Hey Felicia 🤗. Dang I’m sorry it did you dirty like that! If the gel is a true gel then my hair is fine it is has tons of glycerin. But if it is a custard and has tons of glycerin then my hair is going to hate it lol. Thanks for watching 😊
@@NJEberhart 🤔 Hmmmmmm! The Glycerin made this an automatic "no" for me but you brought up a good point of being able to use a gel w/Glycerin vs a custard w/Glycerin. Definitely custards and creams with Glycerin are a guaranteed FAIL for me but maybe a gel might work. Going to give it or the new Edens Bodyworks Papaya Castor Nourishing Curl Jam a try!

You got some 🔥🔥🔥 results. I’m not a wash n go person bc I have some sections of my hair, mainly the front that seems to be wng resistant. Sounds crazy but I’ve chopped it off thinking it was damaged 2x and nope, no difference. If it was the back I could hide it but-it had to be the front 😆

I’m going to assume that their Jello-Shot gel is better than the one you reviewed today. I love the fact that Ecoslay uses clean ingredients and the products work. I haven’t found better. I know that I’m in the minority, but UFD just doesn’t wow me. I’ve tried so many of their products and really wanted them to work out, but they didn’t. How does it compare to the Ecoslay Jello shot? I love the hold of Ecoslay but if I can find a product that doesn't need to be refrigerated 🤔✔
I like this gel but it is not better than my ecoslay jello shot for sure! Ecoslay is more moisturizing, better ingredients, stronger hold and it clumps my hair. I like clumped curls better lol. Thanks for watching beautiful 😘😊
Yes I agree I have ecoslay Jell-O shot and I. Like it but the down side is it has to be refrigerated but works wonders on the hair
@@gravelyp1 just so you know Ecoslay Jello Shot works 💯 outside of the refrigerator. I fill the container from the pouch keep the jar out but refrigerate the remainder in the pouch. NEVER had a problem and I have done so since 1st purchased at its initial launch.

Gorgeous results. Now see, I have been doing good on my no buy. I resisted all of the Memorial Day Sales, but now here we go. I don't think I have the will power to resist this one. Have you tried ecoslay orange marmalade what do you think the difference is? I like a gel that gets crunchy because I know i can scrunch it out and there will be hold.
