In Britain there was talk initially about stiff upper lip and carrying on, hoping that herd immunity would get us through. That quickly changed when pressure was laid on by the media. It wasn’t just politicians who did not abide by lockdown rules. Lots of people used the furlough situation as a chance to do stuff they never had time for normally. I agree that the lockdown was pointless. It didn’t work. We were all out clapping the NHS yet it seems that when we needed them the most we lost access to our GP surgeries. Doctors who dared to speak out or trial medications that their training taught them could work were silenced. Pharmaceutical companies produced untested and questionable vaccines and we got sold a lie that it helped prevent spread of covid. I reluctantly took the vaccine due to severe pressure from the media and my peers. I wish I didn’t bother. Just have to live with the consequences now. Every voice that spoke out against lockdown or vaccine was shouted down by the media including the virtue signallers on social media. We didn’t stand a chance. So this young well spoken man is arguing his version of truth, it’s good to hear, but it’s too late to do anything about it now.
