- Catch up on WoW reputations! In this rep collecting guide I'll look at reasons for farming old reputations in WoW, how to identify which reputations you still need when completed reps are spread across alts, and how to speed up rep grinds with Timewalking. Getting 100 unique reputations to Exalted across your account will grant you the Esteemed title and the Pureheart Courser unicorn mount, which will gain the ability to fly once the Shadowlands pre-patch hits! It's a great time to farm old reps.

I mentioned that in your stream but i'm going to say it here too, you can farm Timewarped Badges in Deaths of Chromie scenario when timewalking is up. If you have your Chromie talents maxed, you can make even 1k badges per hour. You need to have double Sands of Time talent for that. All you need to do is to kill all 5 magnataur, clear 4 shrines and collect treasures in them (except for obsidian because going into that cave takes too long) and complete Andorhal portal with killing all the elites in there and collecting treasure and after that spend all your Sands of Time (55-70). This should take 6 minutes (8 for me but i'm a little turtle) and rewards you ~100 badges (it's rng, Sands of Time can contain 10 badges when TW event is up). Have fun!
I find it easier and zombie mode to just do the first timewalking dungeon on alts for a quick 500 badges for 20mins time spent.

as someone that has 10 max level chars and a rep collector I never knew about pretty reps, THANK YOU!
A very important thing to note is that since timewalking now gives a 50% buff to that expansions associated rep, there are certain reps that you will get WAY easier if you do their first quests during their event due to the bulk rep given at the start. Sons of Hodir and Netherwing come to mind, the former making you instantly exalted if you do its first few quests when you have Sign of the Scourge and the latter making you instantly revered if you do its first quests when you have Sign of the Twisting Nether. This will save you a lot of time for those 2 reps.
EDIT FROM REPLIES: Therazane is also one of these reps.
Took me a week of solid egg farming to unlock my netherwing drakes. I dont regret it one bit. this was in like 2010-2011 lol
therazane would get you hated -> revered with the 4 7000 rep quests.edit: while the buff is up
This is SUPER important, as it's new from only about two months ago! If the rep has turn-in quests that are relatively easy (like the tokens in TBC dungeons for Aldor/Scryers, which sell for a few silver on the AH usually), doing a bunch of turn-ins during that timewalking will get you quickly exalted for very little effort .w.
Same said for easy mob grinds, like Shaohao's frog killing groups on Timeless Isle

Yeah, in SL it no longer shows you which toon has the most progress when you hover over that rep. I can still see the tab made by the addon though.
You posted this at a crazy time! been grinding reps for the last month and a half. Went from like 17-78 :)) so much work but a lot of fun! i cant wait for my pureheart.

@@nefariousnilbog Two things I can think of off the top of my head that she didn't mention specifically, but kind of did considering she mentioned to use wowhead. (Wowhead is my favorite, always check comments.) BUT, for draenor reps, you can buy Medallion of the legion(s) from the auction house, and they give you 1k rep for every draenor faction. Cost me a lot cause of my realm, but was very worth it. hit almost all those reps in one day. Second, you can kill War-God Dokah, on the isle of giants, and he drops insignias, that basically do the same thing but for panda reps. I planted 3-4 toons there from diff realms, farmed them for a day and was finished. Lots of reps have huge shortcuts.
I got fortunate. The time walking event started where it was every expansion, and it changed every week for like two months. So I got A LOT during that. Other than that, I would focus on going HARD on one, or two at a time. You'll burn out if you're stretching yourself too thin. Hazel is the best, and way better than me at this game. She definitely covered all you need to know, these are just the two huge tips that saved tons of time for me.

@@claesbergstrom2823 I cant remember if I checked that or just made a rough estimate. BUT with all of the boosts they do, and all the tokens and new ways to get old reps fast, you can finish LOTS of them very fast if you're doing them at the right time!
ALSO big update i now have 108 exalted reps :)

For me it was "Army of the Light, The Earthen Ring, Cenarion Circle, and Hydraxian Waterlords" :) Time to knock through MC a few times I think.
Been doing MC weekly for a couple months now. Still at early revered with the waterlords >.
For time walking tokens, be sure to hold onto them until the faire comes for a free buff if the timewalking week you need isn't on the same week as the faire;
However, if the TW week ends before DMF starts, use them, as TW weeks now give 50% bonus rep for associated reps.

Wow. I actually sat this morning and was wondering about an addon for this cause I mained all sort of classes all expansions. This makes it easier, and almost scary a video like this came up the same day I had that thought. :o

Just wanted to give an update. Pretty Reps had been abandoned and is no longer supported. There is a replacement add-on called Beauty Reps which took over with supposedly the original author's permission.
badges are a chill way to get a rep, got my cloud serpents 100% thru this since i skipped mop / even more so if u have alts cuz u can that ez 500 with each one each timewalking
Don't forget double rep for pandaria reps when you're revered, folks! They have account bound things that double your reputation gain forever.

@@Ecanze If you become revered with one character you have double rep for all your characters with that specific rep? That sounds amazing if I'm understanding it right. Also, why was it not implemented beyond mists of pandaria? Rep grinding is such a pain on one character, let alone more than one.
Nefarious Nilbog as far ad I remember you jave to buy this item that doubles your reputation gain with that faction. So once you hit revered with MoP faction, go to their quatermaster

3:40 The Battle Standard of Coordination lasts for 15 min with a 10 min CD. Not the other way around. I love that thing!
Very good guide missed out two important information, one is the darkmoon hats disappear once the event has stopped so please do not do what i did and buy as many as i could across all my alts and lose it all. Plus if your going after every rep at max level i recommend starting black prince if you do not have it now first as that is the longest time gated rep in the game i started this goal around two years ago and took like a year and half to get to exalted.
Just to know, you can farm black prince reputation in isle of thunder..

I play in Alliance and pretty exalted there. If I ll make character on Horde and get Voldunai or Voljin Headhunters rep to exalted, will that count towards a achievement?
I tried to grind several reps at the same time but I got so discouraged and decided I had better things to do. Like mount farming. 😅
Do you guys think doing a rep farm that takes place mostly indoors would be easiest to do on a human paladin (for the rep bonus) or on a NE druid (for cat form speed)

This is not working for me :( i logged in every character, and still no :( just blue rep with no name next to it. Do i have to log into deleted characters too somehow?
I really wanted to do this rep grind to get my unicorn, but i couldn't find the addon to get all my reps "in one place. Thanks for sharing this one.
The guild banners don't share the full cd, the one you use go on 10min cd, the rest go on 2min cd if not already used, so it's still worth to get all 3
3:34 The Battle Standard of Cooperation actually lasts for 15 minutes and has a 10 minute cooldown, so it has a 100% uptime and you can place it somewhere else after 10 minutes.
I have opposite mindset towards rep grinding because i get so burned out from killing ogres all day. Or farming timeless isle all day.
So i love reps where i just have to do 3 dailies and thats it for the day. So i know im getting exalted within a month or 2 without boring myself out on 1 place all day.
Grinding mobs is indeed the worst. I love the Steamwheedle cartel, and would grind them all to exalted even without benefit, but that is the worst mob grind of all mob grinds, and it annoys me greatly.

The reps from BFA, the ones from Zuldazar for horde and Kul’Tiras for alliance, count as 6 reps for the achievement? Or only 3 as each faction has 3 specific reps?
They only count as 3.
You didn't mention tabards! You can grind certain reps like player factions and certain wrath and cata factions by wearing a tabard in dungeons.
certain reps yes, but not many, hence why it was likely overlooked.
@@UltimateGamerCC True, but if you are running timewalking dungeons for tokens for rep, you might as well double dip.

I just downloaded Pretty Reps but it seems faulty to say the least. It doesn't share the reps between the factions and when I mouse over a reputation it doesn't say which character has the most rep gained.

If you MUST use badges, the Sha'Tari Defense of Legion is one of the most mind-numbing and the one I'd recommend buying badges for. There are no big bosses or dungeons to grind, it's just one outdoor area where each mob gives very little rep.
Personally, I made 100 without doing any badges or PvP reps. I'm saving my badges for certain pets, because there's one that's needed for pretty much the only reliable fight for one of the Argus pet battle achieves, and it costs 2500 badges.

Your guess is as good as mine, because I didn't think I'd hit it. I was at 99, and staring down either doing battlegrounds or starting on the Sha'Tari Defense, and then I logged in and the game decided I had 100 and gave me the achieve. I honestly don't know what reps are mirrors and only count one or the other, such as Horde / Alliance factions do, and what one count if you get them both even if you can only have one at a time (Oracles / Frenzyheart in Sholazar Basin, Aldors / Scryers in Shattrath)

@@antonetteallen2194 - I'll do a little research when I can and come up with a list. I can tell you that I have exalted with Zandalar Tribe, which was removed from the game when Cataclysm released, so there's one rep that some might not be able to get in their quest for 100
@@antonetteallen2194 - At this point, I have no idea. I downloaded Pretty Reps, logged in all my toons, and I only come up with 98. I'm going to have to guess that somewhere on a toon I deleted over the last year or so, I had exalted with a couple others, like maybe the Centaur in Desolace.

The guild vendor rep flags do not share cooldown. When i was farming molten core for hydraxian waterlords i would kill first 2 with 5% buff flag next 2 with 10% next bosses with 15% buff flag while the 5% flag is on cooldown
Hazel! I’m trying to beat legion on a level 120 is their an add on that shows low level quests or is it just impossible
Click on the spyglass next to the minimap. When the popup menu, check trivial quests.

To my knowledge, the only real class-gated rep is Ravenholdt. That said, this is one of the most grindy reputations. It’ll probably one of the last ones you’ll start.
Tip: Make a google doc or notepad of things to do daily. You could get to like 80 exalted reps in a month if you wanted, just by doing all the daily things.

Pretty rep addon does not seem to do what you say it does. I have for example earned exalted with many factions in BFA on another character, but when logging into my main, I don't see that. Only shows current characters rep (not combined rep) as stated

No. Where did you get that idea? The only change is that unicorns will also become flying mounts come SL.

I race change my rogue to human and cranked out Insane in the Membrane achievement to finish the 100 exalted achievement. I use the cloth turn-in reputation rep repair to quickly get my rogue off Steamwheedle hated list, so I didn't keep the Bloodsail rep. But still it's worth for both the transmog and mount.
I'm 1 away from 80. I'm so behind on reps lol

We need the 100 Reputation Unicorn to walk on Rainbows while mid air, so its an incentive for the grind.

Well, wow robbed me of seeing this achievement happen/pop up on screen, 😔😤😔 I was at 99 and did darkmoon faire and nothing happened. And a few days later at the end of darkmoon faire I was randomly about to look up some achievement when I saw, out of the corner of m eye, the number 100 and when I looked it was the '100 exalted reps' done 😔 guess darkmoon faire rep did count with a week's delay 😢😞☹️ still feel sad when I mount the pureheart courser. Now it's tainted by this.
I'm down to the last 4 - and none of them are easy rep grinds. Have to do like 30 dailies. I've gone through and did 350 mounts, and The Insane title. This is the rougher part of the grind.
Oh... and I'm still farming Argent Tournament for 3 more mounts - ugh. The grind is real. :)
I only need like 7 more Expansions for the 100!
