I posted this in the community tab, but since the date announcement was here I want to post this here as well:
Hey guys - I know that in the Brave Shine video we mentioned that we planned to have the latest UBW:A (episode 11) out this month, but even though that was always planned to be later in the month I'm afraid that's looking unlikely. The huge issue with copyright strikes in tandem with holiday hours over Christmas/New Years and some of our team running the Kickstarter (which was INSANELY successful, thank you everyone!) slowed us down enough that it put us a couple of scenes behind where we wanted to be. We're currently aiming for February!

@@anothisflame8266 not really the full version of the song though. Yeah it's the blade works opening and not just the chorus, but it's still not a full cover of brave shine which is almost 4 minutes long.

@@ceresbaneIts not. This is the tv sized 1:30 version. Seems like they holding off on releasing the full version for some reason since here she sings "Your Brave Shine" and not "My Brave Shine" like in the abridged opening.

I dont think if i've said this enough but as much as I love your abridges I have to say these AMVs you occasionally upload music aside (which is saying a lot because its an amazing cover) are so well done I can help but admire the skill in the editing, and the ability to mesh the lyrics and scenes not to mention the transitions.
Though im sure it pales compared to the editing done in actual episodes it still has to be said, I jumped for joy when I saw this up not because of the ep announcement but because its been ages since you guys uploaded an AMV.

Just yesterday I was looking for this song, ended up listening to the cover queen amalee. Although this one is as good, the brave shine hits different
I love Amalee, but I like this version more. Ama goes off key on the harmonies for Brave Shine, which kind of kills it for me.
@@ILockhartI I like her version a lot but as said before this one has a better brave shine onwards. And also this series was what made me like the song in the first place.
The Amalee rework of the lyrics works better in the verse (this version is fighting the more literal translation a little, e.g. "into the abyss" and "full of sorrow in a world" have an extra syllable) but I like the literal translation "Reaching out together" better than "If you need a hand to hold" and the second part of the chorus is way cleaner while still keeping fairly close to the Japanese meaning.
