Omg that’s exactly what I do! I rub my scalp with water then I go in with oil. Putting oil on dry scalp is like sealing in dryness and I can feel my scalp is still dry if I do that. It’s the same logic we apply to oil and hair. I only moisturize and oil my scalp when in braids though. Outside of braids, I don’t have to.

Is the best method of oiling my scalp so far. Really love it.
Great minds think alike! I only started oiling my scalp routinely about a month ago. I have been looking at videos and learning about the benefits of using hair grease on my hair and scalp for, both hair health and to retain moisture. And, in the process of oiling, I first spray water, mixed with aloe vera gel. I use a growth oil and Sulphur 8 on my scalp and other hair greases on my ends. So far, both routines are working well.
Thank you. Am clapping already 👍👍👍. I have always said if I can moisturize my skin how about my scalp. Yes the skin also produces oil yet we wash it daily and moisturize it. So also I should take care of our scalp much more than the hair itself. So I moisturize, massage and oil. Thanks again👍

I know right. Its took me a while to relax this, but i know now and its never too late to implement. 🥂to healthy scalp and hair! 😊
I currently have knotless braids and my scalp got super flaky just in the first week. I’m on week 3.5 and I found that something creamy and water-based, rather than oil, is better for balancing my scalp and preventing flakes and itchiness. I use Qhemet Burdock Root Butter Cream. It leaves my scalp looking healthy and my roots shiny for 3-4 days. I clean my scalp with a mix of micellar water + tea tree oil + Kinky-Curly Come Clean shampoo in a spray bottle first to remove the flakes, then pat my roots with a micellar water makeup wipe. I then use the Burdock Cream to moisturize it.

Hi Adede! My name is Deborah. I'm new to you channel a d say when you were giving away a the Moringa powder you got for Guyana. You still have it? If so I would Love to have it😊♥️
Hi, thank you for this video. I oil my scalp when it was dry. Now thanks to your advice, I will oil while it is wet/damp. I use to oil my scalp while it was damp/wet. I stopped, but I do not know why. My scalp has been dry since I stopped oiling while wet/damp - I never had to oil my scalp between washes. Back to oiling while wet/damp. Thanks! Blessings to you and yours! ☺

Thank you 🙏🏾
Very good video!
Thank you 😊
I use Wild Growth oil. I just squeeze the oil on my scalp every three days.
I have heard about that oil. I am yet to try it out. Is it good? Does it work well?
It’s good and softens roots, but strong smell. I would use it a day or two before you shampoo since it can make hair start to smell strongly.
