I love how he doesn’t even mention the Rolex subby. Coch is a perfect example of who that watch was originally made for too, a field guy, not a watch guy. Love it. Awesome collection!
I noticed that as well. There's an explorer and I think there was snowflake tudor there too, but he'd rather talk about the the watches that he's found useful and mean something to him. You can tell where he's priorities are with his watches, and it's in the right place if you ask me.
I was thinking the same and especially the mention of the Casio being a solid piece of equipment. I must concur on that. Always enjoy the non watch fanatic videos they are way more realistic then us "watch" folk.
As a watch nut I would be all over the rolex and Tudor sub .This dude talking about how soldi a tool watch the Casio is and nearly making me question my whole watch collection .
My father always wore a Sub date, as long as I could remember. He relied on this watch as PADI Instructor, and as the ship's diver. After 22 years of USN service, he retired as a MAC. Always fond of the sea, a true sailor. He passed in 2014. He was a good man.
I have a GShock that I bought in 2006 and it's been around the world several times, on dives, through basic training, middle east and is still worn almost daily. I have replaced the band 3 times. Love me some Casio
I have a G-Shock G2310 thats over 20 years old. Still on the same solar battery, still works great. Display's a little dim, but she still works fine. Great, tough watches.
I've seen so many interviews with watch collectors, mostly movie stars and other celebrities, but the interviews with veterans about watches they've used while in the service are by far the most interesting.
Absolutely awesome collection. Love the backstories, the honesty and of course, I loved selection of watches, so cool. Thank you so much for sharing this! I instantly subscribed. Best regards, TGV
Funny trend I noticed. Seems like a lot of folks in the service industry whether emergency first responders or military types have an appreciation for watches whether they are into them or not. I was kinda like that, never originally a “watch guy” but I could recognize what a fine timepiece was and appreciate it. Years later I got more interested and started collecting. Maybe it’s just fine tools in general, but usually an appreciation for guns, knives, and quality kit just seems to go along as well. Cool video and thanks for sharing.
Bremont is a British watch company founded in 2002 by two brothers with an interest in modern engineering. They were inspired by their father, a former RAF pilot and aeronautical engineer. They have only ever been a watch brand and have very quickly climbed the watch ladder of success.
Yes, they did however partner/collaborate with Martin Baker, and ejector seat co. On a watch that you had to have ejected from an airplane to aualify for. Or, something along those lines.
I purchased the CWC/Silverman's RN Diver without Date last year. Works well as a Merchant Marine Engineer Mechanic Watch or out on the Town. At $700 it is not flashy but also is not junk.
I find the buttons on my expeditions are junk. It's been my favourite watch for years but the newer ones just don't compare. But still my go-to I have about 4 of them
Served w Coch at ST-5 and he put my son through training. A badass and gentleman. (Yah, loved the Tudor story. I had exact same experience. Turned my issue Tudor back early. Too beaten up and not as accurate as $75 G-shock.) Great film! Well done Coch!
I love listening or reading stories from Navy guys. I am from a Navy family, but served in the NG. Grampops met granmom in Subic. Gramps wasn't a SEAL, just a salty sailor (may he RIP). I watch and listen to 'Nam to GWoT SEALs (RUclipsrs and expats here in the Philippines.)
I’ve rocked many Gshocks, a garmin for my workouts, Nixon g shock style watches, but my favorite is my Rolex Sea Dweller. It’s kind of a thing in my unit to have a Rolex. It’s a great watch and it symbolizes a reward for making it into the unit I work.
Dude, he said the men in his unit all have a Sea Dweller because they BUY them. No Rolex is issued to any unit mil-spec are you crazy? Way, way back in the day, a very few units got submariners.
Retired fleet sailor myself (82-02). Wore a G-shock during my entire career. Woke me up for many a mid-watch onboard carriers, a battleship and destroyer. Cheap enough that if it got stolen out of my locker, I could replace it.
What a terrific collection with memorable stories! I cannot leave the house without a watch on my wrist or one in my pocket. They're a critical EDC component.
Fantastic collection, watches that really have served their intended purpose as tools rather than jewelry pieces. Nice to hear first hand from someone who actually got a Tudor when they were still issued, and interesting to know that Gold Squadron opted for Bremont for their team watches. The UK SAS and Aussie SASR both went with Omega Seamaster Diver 300s and IIRC Delta went with Breitling for some of theirs. Coch, I think your pieces would make for a great write up with Watches of Espionage
When the carriers pulled into Subic Bay and it was liberty call! Those were the days walking down Magsaysay, Gordon Ave, Subic City, and the Bario. Still got a few belt buckles to look at. USN 79-09 ⚓️
Worked as an analyst at CFSOCC-A, and just commented on some board that SOF doesn't wear expensive Breitlings or some other special SEAL watch., they wear G-Shocks. They were like, "Really?" Love the Citizen -- they make a nice watch!
Hey Coch, great video. You hit both of my illnesses with is video. Watches and Guns, Take a look at the Tudor Pelagos Titanium. This version was developed just for divers. The Black Bays were patterned after the Submariner but the Pelagos Titanium is a tool watch. It has become my everyday go to watch. The clasp is the best I have found. Omega and Rolex should take note.
My favourite Mil Spec style diver is my automatic Helson SS Sharkdiver 45 . Just a simple Miyata movement but it’s built like a tank and won’t break the bank.
I just ordered an Olongapo band from Jaffy for my Doxa. I wish I had been into watches back when we were in the Philippines for a WestPac I could have picked one up then.
What an incredible collection. I stumbled to this video through some watch videos I had been watching. I about fell over when you pulled out that Tudor! Whoa! What amazing stories for all those great watches! Proof that price does not determine reliability. From Tudor to Casio to have it all!
Watches and firearms!! Got my attention. You have 2 g shock gulfman. Nice collection and they ain't no safe queen. Casio, Seiko, Tudor, Rolex, Bremont nice collection! Hope they are all still getting wrist time especially the Tudors
Cool collection, love the story that goes with them. Watches show the time obviously but also remind you of certain times in life. Love the wear marks. Just a reminder to remove the dead batteries. Leaky batteries can destroy your watch for good.
Thanks for sharing your collection, glad to see that you are a hard-core user of watches (would not expect anything less). Was aware of Bremont's involvement with the military. A US-based AD in the DC area who carries them said that a guy came in needing servicing on his Bremont. The AD turned the watch over to find a "VI" engraved on the case back. "Oh, we'll get this serviced right away." Their Martin Baker watches are super tough. 👍⌚🇺🇸🇬🇧
Great history behind the collection. Tool watches that are tough and functional are my favorites. I received my first G Shock as a Christmas gift last week and it's solar powered. Thanks for the awesome content and have a great New Year.
I’ve still got my Casio G Shock Triple Sensor from ‘03 when I got all kitted out my first time. Still works. Battery doesn’t last long before needing a boost though. Had a couple of G Shocks since but that one outlasted them all. Now that I have a mortgage, wife and 3 kids and have to pay for my own watch I just run a Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical. It’s about all the smart watch I need. Takes me from the house to the field to hunting and the gym and everything else. I’d love the Fenix but adulting sucks.
I AM a watch guy, and I really enjoyed this video. I wish it had been longer with a few stories included. You must have hundreds. Those are all well respected brands, and Citizen and Casio are two I favour particularly. Thanks!
Stellar episode. So many guys in this 'world' are also into watches. Thanks for sharing. The watches you have are very special, and excellent that they are worn and show signs of wear. Please *never* have them polished! Many watch collectors pay a premium for truly worn watches with backstory, not that your intent is to sell, but you catch my point. Cheers to you, and thanks again.
One cool thing I've never seen is the fenix and seiko combo. Super unique and I'm curious to see if any manufacture will do an homage to that. The custom metal band from philippines is awesome too.
Hey Coch! Always great videos and content but cant help but notice the cool background area where you are filming. Looks like a fun place to hang out and have a beer. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all at the Hyve and subscribers!!
Very interesting, many thanks for sharing! I would have loved to hear something about the other Tudors and the Rolex in your collection but all good :)
Great show! Just one tip for you on your battery operated watches if you're not wearing them or the batteries are dead it would be a good idea to remove the battery so they do not corrode in your quartz movement ruining the watch
I glad this channel came up un my feed I am already subscribed to a few other former Team Guys channels like Shawn Ryan and Rob O'Neill and Don Shipley Sr and now yours, I really enjoy the subtle humor of mostTeam Guys and I look forward to seeing more of your content. Cheers and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Great collection. I Love the wear on your watches. It shows they had purpose and not just a piece to look good on the wrist. I like the fact also that you completely ignored the Sub, giving credit to the watches that best suits your craft.
Dare I say.. I just upgraded from a Garmin Fenix 5 to an Apple Watch Ultra. Not gonna lie, the AWU is a beast but I'm still holding on to my F5. I got into some dangerous situations as a trail runner and my F5 was the super hero that helped me out. Let's see how the AWU holds up. Awesome collection.
Enjoyed the video of your watches and history of usage and use them as they are intended for…. Those watches have history and cool you hold on to them…. Keep up the good work
I collect watches and I’m almost as much of a watch fiend as gun fiend. I tend to love mechanical watches. Or the Grand Seiko Spring drive which is +/- .5 seconds a day.

Awesome collection and so glad to see you actually wear them and beat the crap out of them. Proper tool watches. If I could only get my hands on that drawer filled with vintage Tudors! 😮
I have a much smaller block of watches. 1. Luminox Navy SEAL Colormark that I haven't worn in years (because it's awful at keeping time and date). 2. Casio Rangeman in OD (fantastic watch that I use for diving/swimming and if SHTF). 3. Casio G Shock with tide graph (because I've spent the last 3.5 years on the gulf coast). 4. Timex Expedition (because my wife stole my original Timex Camper from my Fleet Marine Force days). This is the one I wear most often.
Interesting. I also was paid $204 every two weeks when I joined the Navy but I bought a pair of Oakley Blades, yellow iridium and still have them. Did a ST-5 tour in 09 as a BU1 taking care of facilities in Anbar. That last watch, the Pathfinder has been my watch for 8 years. I wear em out, toss it in the drawer and buy another off Ebay. Good stuff!
You missing a legend. The Breitling Colt military. Cool small tactical watch, given to several Units in Italy. Or the Citizen AS2020 Nighthawk. Awesome Solar powered Radiowatch.
Those old citizens are bomb proof! It's a feeling of pride and joy to show off and tell a story about every watch. I love when people can appreciate a quality time piece like that. Had me rolling when he dumped the apple watch on the ground 😂
I love how he doesn’t even mention the Rolex subby. Coch is a perfect example of who that watch was originally made for too, a field guy, not a watch guy. Love it. Awesome collection!

Invicta pro-diver baby! If it breaks, you just get another one.
As a watch nut I would be all over the rolex and Tudor sub .This dude talking about how soldi a tool watch the Casio is and nearly making me question my whole watch collection .

Rest in peace o7
May he rest in peace
Did he ever get the movement serviced or did it just run fine all those years?
Did it get passed down to you? No watch is worth more than what it means to you.
A very good Casio at an amazing price is the Tough Solar model..
Seen your comment twice and I feel sold on getting the version you have.
Do seals wear luminox?

I still wear a CWC Royal Navy issued dive watch from the early '80s. (The watch that replaced the Rolex Milsub in the RN).
I wear a CWC SBS Diver, absolutely love it, never misses a second.
If its the reference Im thinking of that only had 1000 units made. One of those sold on ebay last week for just under £20,000. Unbelievably rare
I purchased the CWC/Silverman's RN Diver without Date last year. Works well as a Merchant Marine Engineer Mechanic Watch or out on the Town. At $700 it is not flashy but also is not junk.
I use a Timex expedition indiglo for all my field use. Cheap, but rugged AF, and the indiglo night illumination is unparalleled IMO.
GShock is my go to field watch.
I find the buttons on my expeditions are junk. It's been my favourite watch for years but the newer ones just don't compare. But still my go-to I have about 4 of them
I wear a timex ironman classic 30 on a nato rugged durable benn thru hell and back

Pretty bad ass watch for a unit to have. And a great reward.
That’s awesome. Do all the guys get Subs usually?
😂

I still have my dad's arnie seiko from the 80's. Wearing the new version of it on my wrist. Great watch.
It's the stories and memories behind them that make them so much more interesting than wall safe show pieces. Great video!
I was a 19D Scout In the LRRP platoon in 4th inf. Air Cav. .I have the Seiko Automatic i got it from PX still works!

I actually have two Tudor Submariners, dated 71 and 73.
One was my dad's, the other my sisters boyfriend sold me. Both are still in great shape
Refreshing to see a collection of watches that have actually been worn. Many watch collections are full of pieces that never got any actual wear.
Thank you very much. Informative, enjoyable, historical, great videography and commentary.

Hi sir, I'm from Philippines, you're watch Collection is amazing, I always love vintage watches.

I was curious about your watch collection, glad you brought them out...
Dude that band on your Tudor is priceless. Thats so freaking cool how uou had it personally made for you. God bless.

Thanks. For your service
Thank you for your service, the watches are great. I have one that I bought in 1977, doesn’t keep time worth crap but it’s still my favorite watch.
Cool. I'm a watch guy myself. Always fascinated by the military connection. Agree, can't go wrong with a Casio G-Shock.
Good video. I like that you spoke of more attainable watches, other than Rolex, Omega, Breitling etc. Cheers from the UK.

Thank you for sharing your stories attached to each watch 👍 that’s what’s all about. Good memories
Love this video! Great watches and history behind them.
Now that’s a watch collection! Each of them have been used and loved.
Luv the lighthearted talk! Keep it up, Coch!
Man I thought I was lucky when our supply was giving out Marathon GSARs! Nice collection.
Love this video. I wish I would have been able to collect more items from my grandpa who served in Vietnam as an Army Ranger. Thank again.
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of amzwatch's watch 99% of people will never see.

If you want to give a digital watch a go check out the Nixon Regulus, made in conjunction with someone in SF. Decent watch I've been impressed so far.
Wow. This guy reminds me of my old mp first sergeant not an ass but gets his point across effectively
You probably missed IMO one of the best military watches: Marathon GSAR Automatic!
One of the best watch collection videos I have ever seen.
Enjoyed the video of your watches and history of usage and use them as they are intended for…. Those watches have history and cool you hold on to them…. Keep up the good work
I think I saw a compass on your watch band. Is it dependable?
A really nice collection that represents a wide range - from Casio over CWC to Rolex and Tudor... 👍
I collect watches and I’m almost as much of a watch fiend as gun fiend.
I tend to love mechanical watches. Or the Grand Seiko Spring drive which is +/- .5 seconds a day.
I'm looking forward to "Watching" your next video.
Hey don't look at me. Coch started it!
“Watch Journalists is a thing?” Made me laugh.
I’m a huge watch enthusiast and that’s how I guess I was recommended your video on my feed.
Awesome collection and so glad to see you actually wear them and beat the crap out of them. Proper tool watches.
If I could only get my hands on that drawer filled with vintage Tudors! 😮
Awesome collection! Thanks for sharing.
I typed “tough guy” watches in the search bar. This was the first video. It’s so badass I gave it a thumbs up, grabbed my Car15 and rewatched it.
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of AMZWATCH's watch 99% of people will never see.
First person i ever seen wear 2 watches on one wrist i think it looks awesome thank you for your service aswell
Coch comes off as that uncle your always happy to see at the family gathering!
Loved the tour through your watches- especially with the backstory.
Thank you for your service!
When Coch was talking about the shindig he did for Panerai, it was probably for the release of the Navy SEALS Submersible limited edition.
This is what watches are all about. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting. I also was paid $204 every two weeks when I joined the Navy but I bought a pair of Oakley Blades, yellow iridium and still have them. Olongapo bracelets are awesome. Everyone ive seen in pictures looked great.
best collection i've seen on youtube
I was expecting to see a whole group of plastic and silicone quartz watches. Nice to see a diverse lineup!

Fascinating video, awesome to see a watch video from this channel
You missing a legend. The Breitling Colt military. Cool small tactical watch, given to several Units in Italy.
Or the Citizen AS2020 Nighthawk. Awesome Solar powered Radiowatch.
I wear a Victorinox with a nylon strap, super reliable,, practically a buckler, and the strap can go in the with laundry and cleans up great 👍.
Thank you for sharing and happy to be a new subscriber
Interesting video, where do you get those straps that take a garmin and another watch?
Those old citizens are bomb proof! It's a feeling of pride and joy to show off and tell a story about every watch. I love when people can appreciate a quality time piece like that. Had me rolling when he dumped the apple watch on the ground 😂
You really thought it was that funny?
i'm from olongapo. what a nice back story about your tudor.
Just great.
Thank you,Sir.
That Tudor looks great with the red, white and blue NATO strap
