We call it Kalo in western uganda. Instead of plates, we use small traditional baskets to serve it and most people like it with chicken or goat meat stew

The incredience u use is called Ragi. This is one of the main agriculture. This is not called millet but ragi. Any I live it. We in India call this Ragi ball. Enjoy have fun with ur family. Update from observation the water from boiled potatoes will ferment if left to set I think a little sugar will kick start the process I knew the skin had yeast on it but think about getting that yeast off or a little flour that should help with the humidity water set to the land vegetable skin Had to keep the food pH balance
