That's such a sick video! I loved that you talked throughout the whole video, felt like I was there. I didn't know your gps dropped on that crash lol and you overtook the drunk guy 3x hahahaha sick dude! Looking forward to the next one!
This is great footage. We have occasional fixie crits here and I love them. Novice racer as well here but I do feel like from the footage your (and everyone else’s) complex area line choices have some pretty serious room for improvement. I’m not sure if the angle or the lens is affecting it, but it seems like everyone is missing corner apex by 8-10 inches, and seems to be more concerned with staying in the middle of the track rather than straightening the corners and riding as efficiently as possible. Hit corner apex with your axles not your shoulders (especially if they’re cones) and make sure to connect chicanes as straight and fast as you can. If there’s track where you think is a faster line, use it. Overall, this kind of footage is amazing to find on RUclips as there aren’t many fixed Crit videos on here. Amazing riding and insane speed getting up and riding from the crash. Congrats on the 2nd!
After hitting straight into the man’s lower back, would have been polite to ask if he was fine? Dangerous stuff, i have seen people getting partially paralysed for the rest of their life’s in similar crashes.
Racing a fixed crit is definitely dangerous stuff but we all knew what we were getting into signing up for the race. Don't worry, he's fine. I spoke to him after the race.
Wowzers your racing so fast yet when you talking you're hardly out of breath..I think you must have added the the voice latter ...yes 'Tongue in cheek' humor 😅😅😅
Great video! Was a good race too. Keep it up

What ratio did you run for this race and were you happy with your choice?
I was running 53/14, about 100 gear inches. It felt really good but did feel like I was spinning out on some of the faster bits of the course.
Thanks, was wondering the same.
thx cool video is the brake less hoods?
Cheers, yes it is a 3D printed fake hoods
Yes
Great race man! What bars do you use?
Hey cheers man! I've seen a few of your videos too, really cool stuff.
I'm using the Pro Vibe Aero Handlebars.
What handlebars are you using ?
I’m using the Pro Vibe Aero Alloy bars
@@sneakyniky91 Thanks !
Yeah I don’t know much about fixies, I can’t imagine what the learning curve is like for cornering
Definitely takes a bit to get used to, but its so fun!
