Thank you for your explanation about Tuning Hammers, heads and tips!
But, I'm interested to buy a professional Piano Tuning Hammer, not the Carbon one because it's very expensive. Between 1) Professional Extension Tuning Hammer with nylon Handle ; 2) Compact Professional Extension Piano Tuning Hammer with Nylon Handle and 3) Professional Piano Tuning Hammer with Nylon handle wich is comparision? which is better and more useful? of course also and for Upright pianos?
p.s. I saw this Tuning Hammers in your web page

Between these three, the extension tuning hammers will provide better control as there is more stiffness to the handle.

    Hi!
So are all angles suitable also for uprights? What would be advantage to use 5 vs 15 degree specifically on an upright or in other words, is using a 15 degree dangerous for the pins?
I have used 15 degree conus star 6.2mm K&M 166 on a 6.9mm nickel plated pins and dented them (slightly):( I'm really sad that this happened and I hope I did not cause and reall damage.

The 5 degree head angle is best. Most likely the reason that your tip damaged the pins is that the tip isn’t tapered correctly. We have found this to be a problem with some brands of tuning lever tips.
