Lee, I think that's the best vlog you've ever done. Period!! Some local history, great personalities with enthusiasm and ends with the chippy. What peed me off about when you go to the coast, you never chat to the fishermen who catch the bloomin' stuff.
Such a great video. The councillor was so informative. Very interesting seeing so the old trams. Living so far away from Blackpool, I haven’t been there that many times. It’s surprising how far the tram travels. It’s a huge seafront.
Paul is really informative and friendly. The three of you have made this vlog really brilliant. Wasn't it Free Deirdre and not Rita ??? Thanks to you all xxx
Lee I've watched your vlogs for a long time now and I don't think it was just one of your better vlogs but it was the very best. entertaining, fun and very informative. I've watched it twice already and still can't get enough. 👍
What a wonderful show . I watched it twice! You are on top form with two excellent Blackpool hosts. Every article I have read in recent years has painted the town in a poor light having lost its former glory to foreign holiday resorts. You have shown the positive aspects of Blackpool! Good luck to the town, its trams, great fish snd chips, Winter Gardens, shows and beaches.
That was great Lee. I know Stephen said that you wanted to go to Tram Town, I could almost feel your excitement. I'm especially proud that Stephen was responsible for raising the bulk of the money needed to do the restoration of the Alan Bradley tram ( Balloon 710). It was so cool that you were both booked on the tour, Stephen was really happy when you contacted him to say you were there. Looking forward to you and Stephen working together again.
Well thanks Lee, just sorted out a trip to Blackpool with the wife for us to take her 88 year old mother for a tram ride with fish and chips included, definitely gonna bring memories back for my wife's mother 😁😁 10/10 for this brilliant vlog 👏 👍👍
Councillor Galley and I would not see eye to eye politically but on this subject his enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication had me hooked. I wish him well with the venture - I remember as a kid I went to Blackpool from Manchester regularly since the 1960's and the trams are an integral part of its history.
One of my favourite vids I've seen on your channel Lee👍👍will defo be doing that tour....next time I'm down there👍👍👍12 quid😮😮😮P.S..Mark Owen is looking old nowadays🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've watched both your and Stephen's vlogs now, and really enjoyed both. I don't live too far away and have a few visits to Blackpool / Bispham / Cleveleys and St Annes already this summer. I've seen the heritage trams but didn't realise that the tramtown was accessible and that they had such a great itinerary of trips.. Fish and Chips for 12 quid on a heritage tram...no wonder you were beaming from ear to ear. Going to do that at illumination time and the ghost tour sounds good too.
Fantastic vlog Lee, me and my husband are going to Blackpool for our 1st wedding anniversary an Billy wanted to go an see the Nostalgic Trams but not able to as it's not open on the weekend we are there. Great to see the Allan Bradley tram there too remembering watch that getting brought back to Blackpool x
Lee the train share was amazing and I agree it's one of your best yet. The museum was also Amazing will.definately take the Fish and chip train ride too. £12 is a real bargain and as you said was the amazing end to your day x
Absolutely great didn’t realise Blackpool had tram tours. A fish’n’ chips tram at a cost of £12 that’s a bargain plus you drink and not forgetting the tram ride that’s what I call getting your money’s worth it’s got to be a 10/10. Well done Blackpool and I agree with a comment made a lovely fella and every city should have councillor like him, well done 👍🏴
Great to watch yours and ‘Walk on the Wild Side’s’ vlogs of this day Lee one after the other for a superb view of a journey I know well, but not from the perspective of a double decker tram. I have drove that journey on several occasions, but never been able to observe as much, so this fish and chip heritage tram trip is going on my ‘To Do’ list! Cheers to you and Stephen for the information. 🙏
HI MAC MASTER BEEN A SUBSCRIBER TO YOUR RUclips CHANNEL FOR 2 YEARS NOW I WATCH ALL YOUR VIDEOS I LOVE IT WHEN YOU DO VIDEOS ABOUT BLACKPOOL I LOVE BLACKPOOL MYSELF BEEN GOING SINCE I WAS LITTLE BOY NOW AM 52 YEARS OF AGE I LOVE BLACKPOOL GOING BACK TO BLACKPOOL FOR ILLUMINATIONS THIS YEAR I HAVE BOOKED 3 TICKETS FOR ME MYSON AND WIFE TO GO ON THE WESTERN TRAM TOUR ILLUMINATED ONE THANK YOU FOR THE HERITAGE TRAM BLOG SOON AS I SEEN YOUR BLOG I WENT ON THE LINK AND BOOKED 3 TICKETS YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO BLACKPOOL YOU ARE MY NUMBER 1 RUclipsR NICE TO SEE YOU ARE ON THE MEND NOW AFTER YOUR RECENT HEALTH SCARE YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO RUclips LOVE ALL THE VIDEOS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK KIND REGARDS STEVEN👍👍👍
Absolutely brilliant - Congratulations for one of your best ever videos, which is high praise indeed. People love to knock Blackpool but this was a fantastic advert for a place that will always hold great memories for me and many others - it's got to be a 10 plus for content, interest and value for money - special mention for Paul who was great and Mr Blackpool Steven - great stuff Lee.
Hi Lee what a superb video, it's got to be one of your best like you my parents took me to Blackpool nearly every year in the 1960's when the illuminated trams were the big attraction. When you think of Blackpool three things come to mind, one the Tower, two the Pleasure Beach, and three The Trams. Great to see the Balloon trams are being kept and restored once again a fantastic video.
This was a brilliant video Lee. Fantastic stuff. You were able to capture everything that I love about Blackpool. The old school charm , especially with the heritage trams and your choice of vintage music , bravo 🎉
Lee, one of your best videos ever. Our family love Blackpool and I know it means so much to you. The trams are just brilliant and the councillor what a lovely guy. Well done mate for promoting Blackpool
FANTASTIC! Fantastic, FaNtAsTiC!!! I have to watch this again, even Claire noticed every other word was........... Hahahahaha. I really enjoyed this, something different & you still managed to get in the fish & chips. What made it for me was you acting like a 9yr old in a toy shop. £12 is a bargain for the dinner & the trip. I am watching the other fellas vlog now, and you just said the same you felt like a little boy at Christmas. This is one of your Top 10 Vlogs m8.
Another cracking upload and walk on the wildside (it’s all kicking off) 😂😂😂😂 great input from Paul you do great work mate you and Stephen promoting Blackpool the resort brings great nostalgic memories for me I’ll never knock the place I’m coming down with wife and friends on 25th September till 29th our annual weekend can’t wait oh here’s an idea I’d love you to review the Sunday Carvarey in coral island it’s usually delicious. We have it every year as well as Chinese meal red pepper Friday night and Yorkshire fisheries Saturday night I’m starving now lol can’t wait till 25 sept lol Malcolm & Elaine Kerr , Beith North Ayrshire . Scotland
That was probably my favourite video that you've done, it was like the inner kid of you was bought out. Obviously Blackpool holds alot of memories for you, there's just something about it isn't there? Perhaps it is just the fact that it reminds us of being with the ones we love and an age of innocence? Genuinely it was so nice to watch 👍 take care my friend, look forward to your next video
As Paul mentioned we have trams here too in Hong Kong - the ”Ding Ding”. But jealous of that Heritage Tram with fish and chips… great vid. One of your best ever!
Absolutely fantastic video!! Really really enjoyed this one! Lovely to see Steve on your video again too (I’m subscribed to him too). And THAT looked like a great piece of fish (even though I don’t like fish), way way better than the one you had at Matlock (that looked like it was reheated from two days ago!). Fabulous video 🤗👍🏻
32!GO - Great Video - back to insane enthusiasm - this is what we want!! (as Chris Tarrant said on TISWAS) - JUST ONE QUESTION - 35:36 - WHY (!) do trams need a steering wheel??? I’m hoping you’re going to say that’s actually a brake (please) 35:37 - love the way you look at the camera to offer an acknowledgement of an answer but all you’re doing is actually checking the camera is recording - classic! Utter joy to watch this - thanks to all x
What a lovely experience. I've ridden trams in Blackpool, and I've eaten fish & chips in Blackpool, but never combined the two. Next time I'm up there, I'll definitely give this a go. And if you have kids and haven't seen the Blackpool Illuminations, definitely go there with them. They'll absolutely love it. 👍
What a great vlog Lea, really enjoyed it. One of the best you have done. If only there were more councillors like Paul who takes such an interest in his town, and knows what he is talking about!! The fish and chips looked good too!!🤪😅we will be booking a visit soon.
Hey Lee, I've said it before, am gonna say it again, I just so enjoy the Vlogs with you and Stephen, you two are ace and compliment each other perfectly, I hope you do many a team up in the future mate. Really happy and chuffed you enjoyed the Fish and Chip Tram Tour, it's fantastic for all the family, young and old to enjoy to the fullest. I might go and do this again this Autumn, it was well worth doing and such a lovely way to contribute to keeping the trams alive. Thanks very much Lee, all the best.
i can understand memories are everything i use to go to weymouth with mom who sadly passed away when i was only 13 but still hold those wonderful memories close to my heart
We loved this, so awesome and I can see why you enjoyed it so much. Trams are very interesting, we will have to visit it some day, The Fish n Chips looked awesome too. Super Cool Councilor, I have to say you got us watching Steven of Walk on the Wild side, he is an OK dude, he knows his stuff and can down a plate of food before you've started lol.
Brilliant Lee, loved this trip down memory lane with the trams. Loved riding along the prom, definitely something to do next time we come to Blackpool 😀👍👍
Brilliant video Lee, one of your best with two guys that are son enthusiastic about Blackpool and the trams. Everyone wants to hear about the Alan Bradley Tram but I want to know about the vintage tram that a tv programme called “Salvage Squad” refurbished about 20 years or so ago.
Brilliant luvd every minute as I always say Blackpool has something for everyone I must do that tour next time I'm down fingers crossed August then Nov. Really enjoyed that thanx. Keep up the good work
Absolutely fantastic vlog Lee. If the drink was a pint that would be a ten plus. Love trams btw but have never been to Blackpool as a southerner. Although we do have trams in Croydon.
Glad to see that you enjoyed your fish and chips on the vintage tram and that Tram World is getting better. They have a museum near Portsmouth to another classic form of transport the Hovercraft.
12 quid, that's cheap as chips, and they're included with a fish and a drink too!! The mug was a very well deserved and thoughtful gesture. A nice little memento of the day and also the work you do to promote the place. It was brilliant seeing all the trams and inside the sheds, the ride along the prom and the tide rolling in. It's a 10/10 from me. I support the idea of the famous tram being named #Alan Bradley purely for the fact that it has become a crowd puller on the strength of all the exposure. Being named would also make it instantly recognisable to any fans and tourists.
Lee that was great, i did the tour of Tramtown last summer after seeing it on one of Stephens videos im like you i have been going to Blackpool from i was a young boy with my parents i now love going with my wife and two young daughters I will be going again for the Halloween holidays and see the lights i will book the fish and chip tour as it looks great. L love your videos on Blackpool. Top man
Blackpool and Rhyl were always great days or weekends away. A quick escape from the Midlands for my parents when I was a kid. Blackpool still looks buzzing in the summer but I wish Rhyls council would sort its resort out! Great video Lee..
This looked like one of those memory days, we all have them, such good value too. Personally think this one of best vlogs seen in a very long time. A great part of it shone out beecause you were genuinely taken to that wonderful nostalgic place all in a 10+ and onwards to the next one.....
Big repect to the councilor & all the volunteers. Yes call the tram Alan Bradley. Used to watch Corrie in the 80's before it caught the Eastenders misery bug. Great value and a great vlog Mac.
Mac fantastic post and the food looked amazing and a tram ride all for 12 quid! We went to Blackpool with the school way back in 1980 if i am right and we watched a dead person coming in on the tide, very memorable all for the wrong reason, on a side note Liverpool had the world's first overhead railway ( known locally as the dockers umbrella) nice one Mac 👍
The ride on the old tram looked awesome and the build of it was so good if you look closely. F&C looked nice, but the F&C tasted better I bet because of the event. Great Vid Lee. Trams not as old and as nice as some electric trams I know within 100 miles, but they are secret.........
Brilliant enjoy your video Lee it's just like oor transport museum in Glasgow the councilor seemed such a nice friendly bloke he seemed so knowledgeable about his city 🕷️
Rode the fish & chip tram back in 2019, when it used to use "The Chippy" (it's actual name, though it was previously Dansons) in Fleetwood, so you got a longer ride! Coincidentally, the tram on that night was prototype Balloon car 700, the same tram you rode on! In my totally biased opinion, your best vlog EVER!
Wow what an Amazing video Lee love your Excitement about Blackpool and your tramtown experience as you mention you Do vlogs from far flung places and have amazing experiences it doesnt top them in my opinion and to say its 10 minutus up the road from my daughters and son in law and the boys house it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck deffo going to book that trip fer us all!!! 😋😋😎😎🤓 XX
Hi Lee, we live near Blackpool so go there alot, often on ebikes cycling along the front up to Cleveleys and Fleetwood which is great fun and so easy on the ebikes. We use all Blackpool's great amenities to their full !! We've done all the Heritage Tram Tours including the fish n chip one. We did visit Tower Fisheries thanks to you good review and will visit West Coast Rock Cafe soon again thanks to your excellent review. Great channel and i love your enthusiastic outlook on life !! PS....you should do a video on the Winter Gardens Hertitage Tour which is fantastic and also the Blackpool Tower Heritage tour. Cheers Rob..
Free the 'Deidre' one. You used this music on the Humble pie Whitby. I totally agree the councillor was very knowledgeable take my hat off to him. Fish looked lovely. I'd pay £12 for Fish chips and a tram tour. Spot on ❤
It's really nice to see you driving an Electric vehicle that made you smile :) I think you have just stumbled on the solution for Electric Car range, Macmaster you are a genius and you did not even realise. How are trams powered, by an overhead line and a pantograph, that is it, that's the solution right there, All EVs just need to be fitted with a pantograph, electric wires built on all all motorways and as you drive down the motorway, the pantograph on the roof of your car that will have to extend quite high, because of truck trailer heights can then use the electric wire and that charges your car as you drive, On smaller roads and residential streets, no overhead lines due to Health and Safety obviously, would be called the MACCharger network haha
We've also been on this fish and chips tour on the tram which was Balloon 717. It was a fab experience which we'll do again later this year as well as the Ghost tour.
If you like trams you want to go to Crich Tramway Village. You can even drive a tram there, which I did for 60th birthday. I actually drove one of the Blackpool trams.
Excellent vlog. Love the old trams, remind me of my youth when Blackpool was a real adventure, have to say the lights are rubbish these days compared to pre-led days. Papas fish and chips looked good, might go to the one at Willerby tomorrow and do the big papa challenge, finish it and you get a free t shirt. Massive haddock & chips, not free, £17.99, have fancied doing that for a while.
That councillor is neither a Cox or Evans from Vic n bob days, he is a sound bloke. You'll have to go to beamish in Durham, there's old buses, trams galore and now I believe a 1950s style fish n chip shop!
Or the Black Country Living museum where they also have a great fish and chip shop and do Peaky Blinders events due to parts of the series being filmed there.
Your best vlog yet, loved councillor Paul Galley what a smashing fella, we had a weekend in Blackpool 2 weeks ago & also a week in Benidorm back in March, both visits influenced by your channel 👍
This video is so close to my own heart. Fish n Chips, Blackpool + Trams. Wow just Wow yes the trams are so important to Blackpool. I made and drove a replica illuminated rocket tram down the prom for ride the lights. We support Blackpool on the Ride the Lights event every year in our illuminated fairground converted cars. Get down there, its on August 29th 7/10pm. Would be a great video Lee, great event and over 40.000 cyclists take to the prom with the illuminations blazing away. Top video loved every minute of it. 10/10 from me pal.
Need one of those councillors in every borough of the UK he was fantastic and very knowledgeable and truly cared about Blackpool.
Agreed. Sad thing is those above him don't give a toss and ignore him. Politicians for you.
Lee, I think that's the best vlog you've ever done. Period!! Some local history, great personalities with enthusiasm and ends with the chippy. What peed me off about when you go to the coast, you never chat to the fishermen who catch the bloomin' stuff.
Great to join you on this! 🐟🍟 🚃
top man you both have great channels with great content.
Was a pleasure. Had a fantastic day. :0)
Such a great video. The councillor was so informative. Very interesting seeing so the old trams. Living so far away from Blackpool, I haven’t been there that many times. It’s surprising how far the tram travels. It’s a huge seafront.
Paul (the Councillor) lovely bloke. A cross between Willie Carson and Michael J Fox, lol. Cheers Lee. Great video. Best ever. 👍🏼

Well thanks Lee, just sorted out a trip to Blackpool with the wife for us to take her 88 year old mother for a tram ride with fish and chips included, definitely gonna bring memories back for my wife's mother 😁😁
10/10 for this brilliant vlog 👏 👍👍
The macmaster and Mr wild side the two legends of you tube hope you both enjoyed your fish and chips
Enjoyed that Vlog Lee. I love the Blackpool and the heritage trams. Paul is an amazing person and I was lucky to meet him recently
Councillor Galley and I would not see eye to eye politically but on this subject his enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication had me hooked. I wish him well with the venture - I remember as a kid I went to Blackpool from Manchester regularly since the 1960's and the trams are an integral part of its history.

The last moments of this vid had tears in my eyes. Such family memories. Love these type of vids. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed making this video. I enjoyed watching. What a super value trip and with good company. Thanks for showing. Regards Paul.

Love this video Lee and I would love to do go on that tram.and I would give it all a 10plus. 😊😅❤.
the chap with the red pullover really knows his stuff, good upload.
Excellent watch Lee. That nostalga certainly brings out the best in you. 🙂
This looked like one of those memory days, we all have them, such good value too. Personally think this one of best vlogs seen in a very long time. A great part of it shone out beecause you were genuinely taken to that wonderful nostalgic place all in a 10+ and onwards to the next one.....
This is the best video you’ve ever done
And probably the best video I’ve ever seen on RUclips
Love the trams
Thank you thank you thank you
Thank You really enjoyed filming this one.
One of your best videos Lee, maybe try fish and trips on a train with a tour , they do them in Norfolk at Sherringham
31:30 *Agree Lee, one of your best, really enjoyed it but a long while waiting for the Fish & Chips !*
A very enjoyable video, Lee. I haven't been to Blackpool since the 80s, but it has memories for me from childhood holidays there as a kid.
The ride on the old tram looked awesome and the build of it was so good if you look closely.
F&C looked nice, but the F&C tasted better I bet because of the event. Great Vid Lee.
Trams not as old and as nice as some electric trams I know within 100 miles, but they are secret.........
I never knew this tour existed! Thanks Lee I have booked for November!
I think we have a few Blackpool trams in the North East Transport Museum in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
Heritage Tram Tour bookings are going to go through the roof!
Enjoyed that very much.
Well done to Lee, Stephen and Paul.
Brilliant video ,i remember going on that rocket as a child ,happy memories ,also nice to see you being thanked for all you do
Brilliant enjoy your video Lee it's just like oor transport museum in Glasgow the councilor seemed such a nice friendly bloke he seemed so knowledgeable about his city 🕷️
Spot on ❤
Thank you for this excellent episode, Julia and I were just as excited as you.
We’ll done! 👏👏👏👏
Fantastic video Lee from start to finish top notch 👍❤️
That was brilliant and such a great bargain and council Paul what a lovely guy and you can see how passionate he is about his job 👏👏
We've also been on this fish and chips tour on the tram which was Balloon 717. It was a fab experience which we'll do again later this year as well as the Ghost tour.
Really enjoyed this video Stephen and yourself seem to work well together and Paul was very informative and fish and chips wow.
If you like trams you want to go to Crich Tramway Village. You can even drive a tram there, which I did for 60th birthday. I actually drove one of the Blackpool trams.
What nice guys Paul and Stephen are!!!! Proper loved this vlog!!!!!
Thankyiu for this Lee, hope it brings more visitors to the museum
Best vlog in a long time Lee thoroughly enjoyed it 👍
That councillor is neither a Cox or Evans from Vic n bob days, he is a sound bloke.
Thank You. :0)
@TheMacMaster And how can I forget the wife & I spoke to you for a good half hour in Winners Bar in Benny 🌞
Yep, definitely call it Alan Bradley👍👍
This video is so close to my own heart. Fish n Chips, Blackpool + Trams. Wow just Wow yes the trams are so important to Blackpool. I made and drove a replica illuminated rocket tram down the prom for ride the lights. We support Blackpool on the Ride the Lights event every year in our illuminated fairground converted cars. Get down there, its on August 29th 7/10pm. Would be a great video Lee, great event and over 40.000 cyclists take to the prom with the illuminations blazing away. Top video loved every minute of it. 10/10 from me pal.
