Them referring to OutsideXtra at the end as the "deviants" makes me think Andy still hasn't forgotten walking in on them drawing Princess Yoshi fanart and Luke trying to hide it and screaming "I'm a normal adult man!" in defence.
When was that?
@@LocseryuOfficial, if I recall, it was during a Show of the Weekend. They did recap it in one of the Presh Mems videos, too...but I'm not sure of the episodes in particular.
That's how I'm going to respond to potentially embarrassing situations from now on. _"FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY PLEASE MAINTAIN SILENCE."_ Very graceful and delicate way to handle it.
That's a police robots line for anyone wondering.
13:20 I FOUND THIS ONE RIGHT WHEN MY FIANCÉ WALKED IN!
He had…additional questions and proceeded to call the game “Robot Butts 2077” for two days
robutts 2077 was right there. some people. lol
Cyberbutt 2077
@SerafinaCastway Just out of curiosity, but how mortified were you when both things happened at the same time?
Only two days? Be thankful he isn't British, you'd never live it down!
Yeah that's one you definitely marry. ❤
Rude easter eggs are especially effective in videogames where you don't expect them. I love it when games manage to surprise me
How did this comment get so many likes? It's just the headline reworded.
@@StanHalen1936 Are you potentially illiterate?
@@StanHalen1936and?
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
@@StanHalen1936 The video isn't about rude easter eggs in games where you wouldn't expect that. Are you illiterate or something?
You can also spy on Meryl exercising in her undies while crawling through the vent to get to the DARPA Chief in MGS. But we'll be here all night if we're listing this sort of thing in Kojima games.
That's what I came here to say also
I’ve got time…
@asherandai1000 @asherandai1000 there's a trick to it though. I think you have to crawl into the vent look at here doing situps then backtrack and climb back into the vent and do this 3 times on the original version the twin snakes they made it just once.
Ahh video games, more worserer than you ever imaginated
"There you go women, equality achieved"
Gadies and Lentlemen, we got em.
We believe in *true* gender equality.
I never wanted devs to stop with the bikini armor in games, just make it an option for ALL the characters! 🤣
@@lady_draguliana784 i played one game where the bikini armour gave women agility, charisma and speed bonuses. However, if you wear it on a male character it would inflict "fear" on the enemy and give them a debuff
@@the_knightcatTTv 🤣
Lentlemen?! there are bean people?!
4:25 - What a gent. He even flushed the toilet for her!
Well, yes...but while she's still actively using it?
@@Alsebra Mate, don't lose yourself on details!
@@Fenrisson, is there *ever* a reason to flush while one is actively utilizing the toilet?
@@Alsebra Chang was startled by seeing a naked hot lady after so much death and gore... He had a premature flushing.
We've all been there.
Jane finishes a list of rude Easter eggs by once again saying she'll "see you next Thursday". I remember when she totally freaked out the first time she said it, now it's a normal sign off. The times, they are a-changin' 😂
Well to be fair the rude version usually uses Tuesday not Thursday this is totally different! 😂
No but for real thought the expression is fine either way as long as you mean it only as the literal phrase.
video link?
I commend your seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of Oxbox-videos, because despite watching all of them, i have no idea what you're talking about...
What was the first time?
The Northern Territory of Australia has adopted "CU in the NT" as their tourism slogan. I am not making this up.
5:10 The Pixar Lamp has been having a rough time by the looks of it.
Me, full screening this video: "How bad could it be?"
Oh. Oh no.
I mean.....first time here? 🤣
Well, you certainly got the full HD experience I imagine.
Here's a Rude Easter Egg:
In Beat Saber you can play the song 'Sandstorm'.
No, wait. That's a DARUDE Easter Egg.
👏🏻 You get exactly one clap, and it’s more than you deserve.
Ahhhh take my like 😂
I mean the name of the game is pretty rude in itself....
I used to watch you guys years ago in high school, and recently your videos are back in my feed. It’s honestly so nice to casually binge all of your content again, glad you guys are still making great stuff🤟🏼
I love the more adult side we’ve seen in the past several videos. OXBOX growing up
I was playing "No More Heroes" when my parents visited. In the game you can get phone calls from the video store. Unfortunately the phone call I got was asking for the return of, "Coffee with MILF volume 3". My dad and I started laughing, confusing my mother. I then had the "experience" of having my father explaining to my mother what a MILF was and how it went with "coffee".
That's unfortunate... but sounds hilarious as an outsider to the situation.
I remember that and because back then, my Wii was actually in my parents' living room (because my family would play multiplayer/family-games on it then), meaning i played this game in the living room, i was actually very glad that the game did not have german localization and my family doesn't really speak english. Because No More Heroes had lots of stuff like that.
@@shadowcat1606german, huh?😅🙈
@@Orimthekeyacolite yeah?
Just now realizing Easter Egg theme’d videos were planned for now
Clever
That Evil Within Easter Egg was hilarious, it actually had me laughing and saying WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!?😂😂😂
You mentioned the Dishonored one in your "stupid ways you got a Game Over" list. I completely forgot about it until I watched this video. 😂
Most of their lists are about half items from their other lists, at this point. They've done _a lot_ of lists!
10:22 Andy, please. Brian is far more prepared for an apocalypse than I am. If anything, that 2x4 has a date with _my_ necrotic cerebellum.
The MGS one isn't even the first moment like that. When you visit the Darpa chief going through the vents, you can see Maryl exercising. Exit and enter the vents a few times and she's still exercising, just without pants. Citation: I was a 14 year old while playing the game.
"I sure hope nobody walks in while I watch this video"
-significant other walks in
-parents walk in
-children walk in
-school teacher walks in
-ancestor spirits walk in
And then, Mushu goes, "Dishonor on YOU, dishonor on your COW..."
- ancient primordial ooze spirit walks in
If I actually like the comment, I'd be the one to bump it up to 70; please just know that the like is implied.
@@shiftingsphere Very *nice* of you to leave my comment at 69 haha
Both my parents were in the room when I started watching this thinking it’d be stuff insulting coworkers or you, the player, but apparently rude sometimes carries a different meaning for the British.
There are some stock 3d rigging animations that companies and animators can use freely or modify slightly so that they don't have to mocap them again. That transforms the question to "who did the robot lap dance mocap first"
Asimov’s fourth law of robotics: a robot must get low, low, low…
For number 6, my question first was "who would do that, to discover such easter egg in first place?", but then I had almost immediately answer for the question "about 90% of streamers, at least".
That is not what I had in mind when you said "rude" easter eggs. I was thinking something more like the Stanley Parable ultra deluxe edition where the narrator called out people who gave bad reviews and insulted their intelligence. Rude!
Rood
Same. I was expecting the Death Stranding camera punch at 9:57 to be a major point instead of just a quick clip. Lol.
15:15 (Jane talking abt OxBoxtra video option, and saying she can't vouch for them on this subject)
Then there's Andy: ''Absolutely filth. Deviants.'' 😂😂
I imagine it was a bit tricky to explain the reasons needed to capture all the footage for this week's list
Not really.
At this point, "standard paycheck earning shenanigans" is all the explanation necessary.
6:20 fun bonus fact, the dance the haunted are doing is from the song "Have a Nice Day" by WORLD ORDER which was released the year prior, the glow sticks are also from that video. I'd highly recommend people go watch it, it's very catchy and cheerful!
in legend of Zelda Skyward Sword you can spy on the king in the bathtub
Does he exclaim "MAH BOI!"?
@@KeithFraser82 man i wish, but he doesn't see you lol
Not sure if this is hidden enough to qualify as an Easter Egg, but in Mass Effect 2, if you have Commander Shepard choose the flirty dialogue options with Yeoman Kelly Chambers and act quickly enough to save her during the final mission, then choose to continue the game after that mission AND pick the right dialogue option when you talk to Kelly the first time after the mission, then you unlock an option to invite Kelly up to the commander's private cabin. Do that, and Kelly will perform a sexy go-go dance in a skintight outfit for the commander's benefit.
Yep, been there!
Oh, that is *absolutely* hidden enough to be an Easter egg
I kinda wanna look up a video of it now, lmao
I thought that was just the standard Kelly "romance" path.
@@thegreatpineapple4425 It is, yeah, but that "romance" is also kinda hidden in the game. The "payoff" does not occur until the post-game, which is not the case with the other crewmate romances. I suspect that more people first discovered it by reading the wiki than organically within the game. And if there's a way to unlock Tali, Jack or Miranda doing a go-go dance, I'm not aware of it...
@@FredCDobbs-rd5wi Fair point. About the dances.. I think Jack and Tali definitely have the moves, judging by their Citadel DLC party performances. Miranda, on the other hand, would request to clear the engineering deck lol.
I was surprised not to see the two or three times in Megaman Legends games where Volnut can walk in on Roll in the bathroom or when Tron's robot explodes into a fireball and takes her clothes with it. Depending on the region and game he'll even do his mission complete fistpump animation after leaving said bathroom (He also does it after seeing Tron but that actualy *was* at the end of a mission.)
Tron isn't actually an easter egg since that happens during a story cutscene but there is no requirement whatsoever to walk in on Roll or any other reason to be poking around the bathroom since the door is otherwise just a prop with a "I don't need to use the bathroom" sort of text box.
You're right! Now I'm hoping for a Commenter's Edition!
If I remember correctly, Legends 2 had another similar scene and Roll recorded it in her diary as probably an accident, but it happened last game too...
@@tychozzyx9439 Yeah, in the bath, you're right.
Most of Cyberpunk is stuff you don’t want people walking in on you playing, or overhearing since some of the ads in the world moan suggestively
I think I need a gif of Jane's outro, that feels incredibly useful for Discord servers where someone drops some random piece of horrible content on an unsuspecting friend group.
The Mafia 2 collectibles are Playboy covers...my wife had questions 😂😂
The only video game collectables I ever actually cared about
Witcher 3, unicorn scene.
100+ hours spent playing the game, and that was the one time my roommate decided to stop by and see for herself what the game I had been praising for its masterful storytelling and compelling characters for the past month was like 😂.
No. That scene really represents the game. It's a game for perverts.
In Dishonored, Corvo isn't wearing his mask around the Hound Pits Pub. He takes the mask off after he gets off the boat after every mission, and then puts the mask back on right before getting on the boat before the next mission.
There's always headcanon...
Wait, can't you "zoom" while not on a mission? Cause that's definitely the lens in the mask
@
Yeah that was an oversight by the Dev's.
@@southparkkenny2Exactly. It's a bug-as-feature.
@@daviddaugherty2816 True, but they literally run first-person animations of Corvo putting on and removing that mask, so we know he's not wearing it between missions at that point.
4:20 "Master Leep" may be a reference to a classic comedy sketch called "Ti Kwan Leep" by The Frantics. If you've ever heard the name "Ed Gruberman," this is where it comes from.
I have never played Cyberpunk. When I tell you I lost my shit at the dude with the grenade for a nose, I am putting it *mildly*
Ojob is a reference to a player character from a Brazilian Cyberpunk RPG stream!
It's possible to punch him in the nose.
It goes about how you'd expect.
Then there's the guy with the malfunctioning funtime implant. Have fun explaining THAT sidequest to the kids who walk in on you!
"Not drawing a picture of this one in your journal, eh Arthur?" made me *cackle* far more than it should have
I often associated being "confused by" with "enjoying" which explains my dating history 😔
Speaking of Metal Gear... I'm surprised you didn't talk about MGS4, and how you can basically get into a gravure model shoot with the BnB corps, considering the four are based on actual models. But its also kinda weird when these girls are also established psychopaths and war orphans in the canon of the story. Thanks Hideo.
Back in the 360 generation, every other videogame had a strip club - Mass Effect 1, Saints Row, Saboteur, Fallout: New Vegas.
The one that got me caught with an exasperated "Again?" was the Mile High Club in Just Cause 2. Didn't expect that!
Also Bioshock
No mike, you aged like wine!
Depending on the wine, that could mean anything. Some wines age slowly and are only considered to be at their best after decades; others degrade into vinegar before the next grape harvest.
@@wolfskinchanger I was also thinking that after reading the original comment. lol
@@wolfskinchanger that's fair, but in the spirit of the saying....
Lumpy and acidic?
No saving the yoghurt, though
All I get is "Why are you watching that Jane woman AGAIN!?".............reasons.
Shout out to Ozob! That clown with a grenade nose is based on a TTRPG character created by a brazilian RUclipsr!
I opened the comments to see if any Brazilians had mentioned that!
Mike, you're suppose to eat the yogurt, not collect them
This reminds me of the Iranian Yogurt reddit story lol. "AITA for Throwing Away my Boyfriend's Potentially Illegal Yogurt Collection?"
The place where we get the term "Easter Egg" for "a special treat for the audience members to find" came from the movie, *"The Rocky Horror Picture Show".* Directors and crew members had been putting special items for audience members to find in their content for a long time before the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" was ever filmed, but that was the movie that gave us the term for those items. During principle photography, the Easter holiday rolled around, so the cast and crew decided it would be fun to hold a literal Easter Eggs hunt on the set. However... not all the eggs were found by the participants during the hunt itself. Once filming resumed, three of the eggs became visible in the movie and... voila... the term was born out of the fact that there were literal *Easter Eggs* to be found by discriminating viewers.
(hint) - one of the eggs can be seen under Frankenfurter's throne.
To be fair to Kojima he's had plenty of gay moments in his games too. He doesn't discriminate against sex or sexual attraction. Also this entire list could probably be filled with moments from a Kojima game.
no nothing gay, depends where your mind always is.
japanese thought towards anything sexual is extremely different, they are more open about it than the west. They are not as "prudish" as the west. watch some of their "game" shows and that will tell you alot.
@@cypherglitch So, I assume you're posting this from the West. Because they literally used to equate anyone who wanted to screw an anime character with an actual serial killer. In Metal Gear, Otaku's nickname is not affectionate. The idea they know no prudishness just reeks of someone who doesn't know what they're actually talking about.
@@kieranhair37lol ok does not matter what I type, you assume anything you want because it clearly shows you will only believe anything that goes along with your thinking. yeah, Anything you experience or see is the way the whole world is. yes it clearly states I said every japanese person is thinking about sex 24/7
@@cypherglitch Didn't say that's how the whole world is? Nor did I say every Japanese person is thinking about sex 24/7. You're just making up points I never argued. Which one of us is too attached to our own thinking, again?
Your proving my reply about you correct. Take some time to re read my message without your judgemental glasses.
You are judging the whole nation with what you typed, *"they literally used to equate anyone who wanted to screw an anime character with an actual serial killer".* If your not, who is They?
*"The idea they know no prudishness just reeks of someone who doesn't know what they're actually talking about."*
You took my comment *"they are more open about it"* to that absolute extreme.
I'm dead that split to end the vid was icing on the cake finale.
The Evil Within one literally made me WTF-laugh XD The music makes it XD
I was about to bend down and tie my shoe when I heard "Just like Hiroshima." and I paused so hard.
Just... what? WHAT?!
You should see Civvie 11's reviews of the game.
10:08 Omg, I think I remember that room and that completely went over my head, 😂. I must've been like 18 so idk why I didn't notice xD.
it's amazing how the ruder the easter egg the more likely for someone to walk in on you
I did see things. Definitely. I am sort of welcome. Thank you Jane. And Andy. And, of course, Mr Mike in the boss Trial Mountain hoodie.
I'm sad you didn't mention that if you press "use" on the anime girls in Shadow Warrior, Lo Wang says a terrible pickup line and then the girl calls you a creep while unloading an uzi on you. LOL
Also, fun fact! The voice actor for Lo Wang in the 1997 Shadow Warrior was John William Galt, who also voiced Jock and Manderley in Deus Ex. Hilariously, someone at Ion Storm liked him so much as Lo Wang that he also voiced several Japanese characters in legendary kusoge Daikatana. Before Shadow Warrior, he was mainly known as being the voice of President Johnson in Forrest Gump and in the JFK film.
When I was a kid my mom would always walk into my room when something weird would happen in the game and she’d look at me weird. Now that I’m in my mid 30’s she knows to knock first.
Not sure why but I find 'Sam' reaction so funny, its even better that he lifts, hits and cracks the camera. Almost makes me want to play Death Stranding just for that interaction
Mike's "Just... wow." absolutely killed me.
How about video game voice acting that sounds ruder than it actually is? Arthur Morgan talking to his horse springs to mind, and the Forgotten Warrior grunts from RuneScape 3
Dark souls' voice clips from the character creation.
"Touch the demon inside me."
Cyberpunk Robot lapdance was more shocking than the laptop with witcher symbols on it.
Man, I had forgotten just how bad _Shadow Warrior_ was.
Dated, yes, but not bad, unlike the reboot game's sequels.
The robots in CP77 made me laugh SO hard the first time I saw it. Like - how does that robot move its supposedly rigid core that well? 😅
We absolutely need more games with the crude humor of Shadow Warrior.
That shadow warrior game has aged amazingly well. That game looks hilarious.
in Skies of Arcadia you can peep through a hole in a wall at Aika's house after your first return to Pirate Isle, and watch her sitting on her bed brushing her hair. She notices and angrily throws a cushion at you.
Best boss entrances please
The Samurai Warrior game for PC was one of my favorite games of all time as a kid
Hey, Mike.... you no mess with Lo Wang!!
My favorite Easter egg in this video is Mike’s Trial Mountain hoodie. I love it. If you know, you know.
My immediate thought was the Lollipop Chainsaw achievement called "I Swear! I Did It By Mistake!"
Something about zombies doing the Jpop idol fan dance (I forget what it’s called) brings a smile to my face.
9:58 - Not cool, mate! I was staring in a respectful way!
12:20 - I found that one out by myself! Not that I am too proud of it. But my gf at the time was with me, and we had quite a laugh.
"Burrito: IT'S BIG" I heard that in the Honest Trailer narrator voice. 😭
Thanks again
Music during that Evil Within easter egg...
...bit of a bop
I watch youtube on the tv while doing housework and sure enough, while I was cooking with this on in the background my fiance came home during the Evil Within scene and I had no answers for her. She knew I was weird already but at this point she's not surprised anymore.
It must have taken a lot of willpower to create this list without including any of the many moments from GTA
i love these.
Just finished playing The Evil Within, so now I need to go back and find that easter egg!
Sentient vending machine. So an updated version of the one I saw in the Convergence Station in Denver, CO? Mind you, THAT one was a bit more salty in his tone of voice...
Persona 3 reload is my first persona game. Imagine my surprise when we're exploring the love hotel and found a room with 3 "coffins" on a bed
Yukari was not amused by my attempts to interact with them
I think that was in the original, too.
For i second my brain processed Alex as Albert, and i fully accepted it as a thing he would had done.
When the end title overlay doesnt show and and such makes it look like Jane is doing a kamehameha blast.
The wow by Mike sounded the most real. Just.. dang bro
Glad to see a Brazilian reference in this channel (Ozob from Cyberpunk)
The guy with the granade on the nose is a character from a Brazilian RPG podcast. His name is Ozob, a cool joke with the name of an old tv host from the 80's.
It's also "Bozo" spelled backwards. Substitute a red clown nose for the grenade and put some clown makeup on him, and he looks like Bozo the Clown.
First time I see a foreign video commenting on him.
the robot dance was a clever way to write off a lapdance as a business expense... "It's work if we put it in the game"... :D
The Dishonoured one made me laugh so much when I found it. The way Callista just casually admits that yeah, she'd be totally into it if it weren't for...well the entire mess that the game takes place in.
5:30 Oh no! The Consequence!
One of my favorite Easter eggs was in Halo 3. I believe it was on the final mission of the campaign you could see the CO founder of Bungie in his underwear. Definitely was not easy to get to however.
This just looks like a list of games I am missing out on.
I wonder if that Evil Within DLC one is a reference to World Order's Have A Nice Day video, because a very similar dance is performed by the group and the audience in front of AK48.
That's just wotagei, which is an extremely common dance move done by the audience of Japanese idol concerts.
@@IrisverseAh, thank you!
I admire you guys' courage to do this video! 'twas loads of fun! Much respect, and Please Come to Brazil.
I kept glancing at my door while watching this. Those footsteps could be anyone...
Anyone else thinks Mike aged excellently? If that man offered to ever buy me a drink I would accept in a heartbeat!
"Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee" sounds like, or should be, a good clothing article slogan
i remember finding the cyberpunk one while being in the middle of a shoot out, have to say really changed the mood
Reminded me of the secret room on the last level of Quake 2.
I do love that the Dishonored rude Easter Egg allows you to up the rudeness to the level where the game itself is like "okay, too spicy for me, let's quit right here." Like, Dishonored, you started it. XD
3:44 A reference to a ‘70s commercial for Colgan detergent, which supposedly worked miracles with your laundry. Read into that what you will.
