He’s easily the best of the 2 brothers and the thing that I like about him is that he doesn’t let setbacks get to him because he’s confident in his own skill set to come back and win the 2nd time around. He’s also easy to root for because he represents my city of Houston, Texas.

Jermell's defense is much better compared to Spence because they have different fighting styles, one is a pressure fighter the other one is more of a defensive fighter. Spence lost because is a pressure fighter and he was countered a lot throughout the entire fight. Against Crawford Jermell is likely to do better but he will need an extra gear to beat Crawford.

I went to this fight in Carson ! And it was lit ! This was a great night for boxing hats off to both guys ! But man jermell being undisputed was big and he made great adjustments from the first fight ! True champ!

the main thing I noticed was Castaño kept coming forward in a straight line. If he would’ve stayed off the center line like he did in round 7, he would’ve took the jab away from Charlo and gotten inside more. he’s too short for charlo, needed to get inside more. He also could’ve long guarded a tall fighter like charlo to take the jab away. (same how tank did to ryan) and mix it up a little by double jabbing and uppercutting, or hooking off the jab. that 1-2-3 was so repetitive and predictable. I don’t think he threw a single left uppercut, or he could’ve hooked the body more. Finally, he stood in the same spot after throwing the right hand, no rolling under which is why Charlo kept catching him with the left hook. In conclusion, I felt like his team prepared him for a “war” instead of focusing on defense like slipping and using angles, setting up shots more effectively. they’re a good matchup, but charlo was/is the better boxer based on skill set.

Ryan Garcia may not be s anxious to box Tank Davis ever again. Tank Davis humbled Ryan Garcia. That punch to the liver. That punch has brought down many once great fighters

One of the best fights if not the best fight of 22 castano definitely brought the best out of Charlo in that fight.. Castano is one Hell of a Fighter in the 154 pound division
Charlo fought scared in their first fight and he lost. He was better in this fight, fought back and didn't let Castano have free shots when Charlo was on the ropes. If Charlo was more confident, he would be hard to beat at 154. He's still a bit too tentative, he has to learn to let it go.
If I had to compare Charlo to Plant, I’d say Charlo MIGHT have a slightly better offense, but his defense is not as good. He’s willing to take more risk at the cost of his defence and he’s the smaller guy. Shorter height, shorter arms, smaller weight, which could very well imply a weaker chin. As long as Canelo isnt dossile 4.0 like he was in the Bivol fight, I think your assessment has legit merit. Canelo will have a HUGE power advantage.
