One of my neighbor ask me to make an Indian wear for him, and I had NEVER done any project that big. And I sat on that project for a month before I even told myself to get up and DO IT, turned out great though
That was me, when my girls were little. You brought back so many memories sewing with the kids. I made so many clothes, that the friends were envious of them. lol Keep up the great work. I love the hats!!
It's so nice creating all these memories together with the kids. And yes the hats are one of my favourite makes ever because we use them basically every day.
You've inspired me so much to sew more Marie. I used to always wait until the kids were asleep but have changed that recently. I want them to see I have hobbies too and let them help if they fancy. Finished a pair of felt fairy wings for my daughter today which she enjoyed watching me make 🎉 My kids love their reversible hats I made them after watching your video too ☺️.
Excellent I'm glad to hear you've felt inspired. The sun hats are always a winner project for sure. Felt fairy wings is a fun idea!! My kids would love that - they're at the perfect age to enjoy dress ups now
@@MyMumMakes 10 points for the pun 😁 definitely did wing it! Just emailed some pics and an explanation through. I don't have social media so thought that would be easiest. Hope that's ok.
@@r.richmond4741 just got the email and they look so cute! I'd certainly be keen to give it a go! Did you need to use anything to stiffen it or did it hold up well enough by itself. I'm very keen to try this now!
Do you ever mix up the kids clothes after washing them and putting them away? Because when I would sew short pants for my son, if it was too small I would just pass it on to my daughter and while washing them and packing them when the kids go to their wardrobes they would say MUMMY YOU GIVE.......... ONE MY CLOTHES🙈🙈
Haha yes all the time!! Especially with the girls sharing a room and only being 1 clothing size apart it gets very confusing! I've started to sew new tags into the waist of the confusing clothes to colour code them for each kid which helps
Elijah wins for cutest giggle!
For sure! Cutest giggle for the cheekiest kid. He's a sweetie
YESS ‼️ I walk past my kitchen like that sometimes 😂 when I want to make some time for myself to relax a bit
It's just gotta be done hehe
@@MyMumMakes yup, when I'm all relaxed I have more energy to finish everything faster otherwise
