  • Join me behind the scenes for another of my single-take rehearsals for demos that I am prepping for, test-driving new concepts, or generally practicing. Usually recorded late after all my normal work is done, you might enjoy some of the tips and tricks I hope to offer.
Just a quick one that occurred to me over my vacation. By using Onshape's variables, and expressions in variables along with feature pattern, we can build a quick demo of a classic mathematics problem (block stacking) and at the same time revise our learnings from university Calculus classes.
And yes I did mis-speak when describing the feature pattern. By using the expression #x = #x+1 and patterning it, we have x=1,2,3,4,5,6... But I think you got that and will forgive me this slip-up ;) In my defense I've just returned from the other side of the globe and I'm quite jetlagged.
