Smashing , much better once the sun died, lovely looking swim Ian , enjoyable as always mate , plenty of roach about , shame about the pike , the second swim looks lovely also . Marvellous fishing ,great vid mate 👏🏻👏🏻
Lovely to hear of some good roach fishing in the stour. It's not a million miles from where I am but I haven't heard of any decent roach fishing from the river in years.
Amazing bit of river and fishing 👏👏 have you worked on your Abu? In this edit only saw you twice help the line off the spool👍 yourself and Mark Wintle have been keeping the natural fishing going. Thanks for the uploads and enjoy, the last bit of season, now the rivers are within there banks.😎
Hi Dave glad you enjoyed the video as for the Abu sometimes you do get a bit of bread 🍞 on the line when you use liquidise bread and it gets trapped in the spool. Also the line can bury if you load to much line on the spool but it doesn’t happen to often. But no I haven’t worked on it.

Great vid Ian. Please could u tell me what bread mix u use to ball in? Thanks 👍
Hi Dean I keep it simple and just use liquidised bread coop own brand because it fines down nicely
Thanks Ian, love to get as much info as possible for my own roach fishing in bures👍
Lovely fishing Ian what stretch was you fishing
That last fish was a hybrid no?
No it was a roach
Cracking session Ian, do your venues not suffer from avian predators ?
There’s not to many about
Good stuff ian.some lovely roach there, what sort of shot pattern was you using?
Hi Dave shot pattern was just number 8 stotz strung out with a few of the stotz doubled up just to make up the weight for the float.
What size hooks you use for punch and flake?
I usually use a size 14 for flake and for punch it depends on what size punch I use
