Thanks for all these priceless experiments in the woods Buckin! That 562 is a ripper, we are blessed you take us along on your adventures! The glasses are a good look on you.
That was one of your best points ever, living in the now. People put so much pressure on themselves thinking about the future or regretting what they did in the past. Live in the NOW, go help your neighbor, go see your mom, play with the kids, watch the sun set. P.S. would make a great buckin tee shirt, live in the “NOW” 😊
Good day, Buckin. I've been running ported and piped 372 x torqs for about 7 years now. I've grown to really like them. Dependable and consistent. I little lighter than the 572 also. They just work for me. 💪
3:50 my wife walks in and the only thing she hears is "I miss my noise, and I miss my crack" lol 😂. She said what in the world are you watching? So I proceeded to tell her about everyone's friend Buckin' Billy Ray.
Hey Buckin! Good stuff as always. I don't know if you remember, but i was out cutting with my x torq a couple weekends ago during the live feed and i mentioned you should have Donny give it a tickle. I knew you wouldn't be impressed with it. Mine is a lot better after a bit of port and piston work, and a pipe. Also, the 562 punches well above its weight! I'm looking forward to the mods on the x torq. Take care!
Love the review! Still love these saws. Have two. My mufflers are ported and typically takes 8 to 10 tanks to loosen up as you know. Will be excited to see you get it running better!
One of the most helpful things I learned from you back in the day, when I first found this channel, was: Live in the Now. Still doing it, and still moving forward 😊✊🏻❤
Cool video Bill, I've been heating my house in northern Alberta for the last 10 years with a stock 365 X-Torque. Pretty much every time I run it I think about getting it modified, but its been so reliable I'm somewhat reluctant to mess with it.
I've worn glasses since about 5th grade and have had at least 100 pairs of glasses ( prescription and sunglasses and safety glasses) and some of the most dorky glasses are the most comfortable. 🤓
Like your videos and you are good at explaining things... whenever I try and teach others I always end up sending them your videos because I am not good at explaining...
Great to see you on the saws Buckin. Good start to my day. Got bad shoulders at the mo. But managed to start my 350and 576 just to warm them up and play a wee bit. Couldn't start the 395, too much compression, it'll come. Good video. Cheers from HB.
Good afternoon sir!! And fellow army!!! Cool video...yessir, I had to port and muffler mod mine to get er to pop, and changed out the ignition as well...she runs out strong now brother😊😊
Howdy mr.bucken, your modified sure sounds great man, might start looking a piped muffler for my new 572,but it's the stihl bar that makes them huskys look like they are going to the dance!!😅lol, and yes the now is where we need to ride, the past is depression and the future is anxiety so you miss out if you aren't in the now, good stuff as always here thanks for ringing in kind sir, pleasure!!Sierra.John
Billy Ray Smith ❤ You are one of a kind Seriously You don't give what you don't like! Am french so i can't express like i what but ...i think you got that
You know I've come to the conclusion that just like a mere human being everything has to modify their behavior to make the best of things. Just like that saw in your hands it just needs a few changes to make all the difference. You can pretty much modify something to meet your needs, when it comes to human nature it just seems to take a moment longer to sink in and that's a revelation.
I love the way your saws sound once you put a muffler on them. They sound so awesome. I’m trying to find someone reputable to do one for my stihl 661 magnum. Would love to do a ram horn on it
I made a straight pipe for my modded 661 and I buried a 32” bar with on a maple chunk and it barely slowed down at all. Other than being noisy as can be I love the straight pipe on my saw and I plan on making another one when I buy a new saw
I have a redmax 7100 which was a jonsered 2172 and it used to do the same thing the sluggish thing I tuned it out I live in east tx so don't have anyone to make me a muffler like u run so had just listen to what it was doing in the wood and adjusted carb to where it got the snapping into it
Much agreed with the two saws the 562 xp is much sassier than the other looking forward to seeing what the saw performs like once Donny is done with it . When Donny does his thing on a bran new saw like that does it immediately cancel the warranty? Great video be SAFE!!
Yep, it is not a secret, in order to get more air and fuel in, gotta get the exhaust out faster. Port and polish and open headers. Makes more go power. Now, can we figure out how to bolt on a supercharger😮
If that saw was bone stock, it ran pretty damn good for that big of a bar. Probably not going to find any other stock saw of the same size do any better.
I ALSO have a 372XTork from 18. Mine performs better with a very generous muffler mod that I personally performed, and it was my very 1st one to EVER do. I’m impressed with it. Mine “will” pull a 32, but it likes my 30 much better! Yes I MEAN 30. It’s an odd size BUT even Stihl offers a 30 from their catalog in THEIR name as an OEM part. It’s ONLY available as an 063 and not an 050. For 050 for it you’ll have to go to Oregon bars, like I did for my 372.
@@ToddAdams1234I don’t think that I will be making my own exhaust for anything in the near future. I do have a 28” Oregon bar that I use with this saw in addition to the 24” & 32” bars that came with the saw. Maybe I will have to pickup a 30” next.
@@johnrosier1686 I just started mine with an OE “jungle” muffler and THEN I made it how I wanted it. It’s a sweet performance upgrade after some simple changes.
Buckin, im a young man that’s never bought a brand new power saw before and I’m looking into getting a 70cc ish saw. I’m looking at the new 372xtorque and the sthil 462 with the regular adjustable carburetor. I’m used to running my grandpas 25+ year old husky 50 that’s still getting the job done but I’d like a bigger firewood saw that I can have around for the next 25-30 years. What saw would you suggest out of the two? Thanks.
Just comparison one cord of firewood suppose to be 3,625m³ (metric cube)?? therefore we do sell cord of splitted silver birch @ 210€ which is 310 Canadian Dollars and pinewood goes out within 245 Canadian Dollars. How does that compare to BC or other parts of Canada? I'm kind of curious 😊
Thanks for all these priceless experiments in the woods Buckin! That 562 is a ripper, we are blessed you take us along on your adventures! The glasses are a good look on you.
haaa it is my pleasure
Can't wait to see that 372 run after Donny Walker wakes it up... Buckin life is good...

Nicely said, David ☺️
There's so much enjoyment in the little things 🌿. Tomorrow will take care of itself ❤️
Love the 372, we've been running them years, those and 346, best saws ever.
Two of huskies finest

I been wanting to purchase a new 372 but been hesitant. I tell you what, I mainly run an ole modded 266 XP and it still puts a smile on my face.
i want to live in the now Buckin! Getting to far away from the now leads to distractions. love you my friend!

Even without a muffler upgrade it was cutting pretty good. Nice saw👍
Right on
It’s smooth Marto
Cool video buckin, i noticed with my 372 x torq once i got it broke in it really found its crack. Just my experience, keep the chips a flying 💪
Right on
That saw looks massive after watching you run the 562 so much
Good afternoon Buckin great video
Love your channel and I changed all my bars to long bars 28 s and 32 s
Great
I got a 372 x torq with a 28” Oregon for $400! Runs like a champ!!
I have a stock 372. Runs great. Never ran a modified saw. Not a production guy here, but love the 372.
Absolutely awe-inspiring performance from these behemoths.
Always happy to listen
Thanks Buckin

Do we have to sign up to win or just attend the live stream?
@@EmmaEdinger-wb6jsIf I'm correct, every $25 of merch purchased through his website is an entry in the drawing.
Crazy you mentioned the 86er. I literally just asked Mr walker about it right before I watched this video

I have been feeling angst because I have not been focusing on my talent and following my heart. Started today and I am so much happier

Like your glasses. I tolerate my helmet, ear protection and face shield. Enjoying this video. Is that the saw that went to Nova Scotia?
Awesome thanks
I would love to win a ported saw and a Donny walker would be legendary
Cutting cookies off the stump. The few times that I've tried that, nothing was level. Time for some practice.
It seems lazy, quite looking forward to the mods. The 562 seems to behave way better stock. Thanks for the video Buckin!
Welcome

What is your opinion on the Husqvarna Rancher 460 with a 24-inch bar? Are there full wrap handles for it and can it be moded?

Wow! Dead nuts even stock vs. pipe giving up the 10cc's.
interesting eh bear in mind 32'' 28' and the 72 is stark raving new
What does Ewan think about all of this Husky stuff? Chime in, buddy!
God bless Ironhorse!!
why not a husky bar on a husky saw ???????
Because that Stihl bar is the lightest “lightweight” on the market currently.
Would you find husky saws better than sthil saws?
I'm considering a 562, echo 620 and echo 680 to run 28-30" bar to cut firewood. Leaning towards 620
Ohio? So hardwood? If you really want to pull a 28"+, I would go with a 70cc saw.
