I’ve been listening to Native American music for the past 6 years, I’ve already know most of them. My dad also loves native music. When he had his heart transplant he mentioned this song and I told him oh yes I listen to it very often it’s so nice. He said he loved it. My Indian warrior (my father past away last week) now I’m here to remember and feel him close to me through music . Thank you.

@@Healednobody I'm peruvian, my grandmother's grandfather was Spanish, the nearest white connection in our family but not the only one, we have afro roots too. Now I have two kids, their father is chinese and we live in Italy, they were born here, I told them that they are both, peruvian and chinese of course but, from my side, we have a beautiful genes heritage and that's awesome and having the italian citizenship is a bonus, being born and growing up here they have to cherish it too, I teach them peruvian, chinese and italian culture and language but, we share some space for other cultures too, I try to take part to festival, initiatives about our countries, I introduce them to our culture also through our meals. I hadn't all this, so I didn't ask myself about my identity till I was a teenager and as we have a long historyof mixed kids, families so it's normal. I faced xenofobia here, it was hard, I repeat to my kids to not be ashamed about their roots, they have the chance to learn more and to go to different countries to visit our family, at the end we are all humans but it's important to acknowledge our roots, to have a chance to live them, to feel them, to share them. We are mixed but we, I think, can choose a part, not avoiding the other be we feel a different connection, kids who grew up here feel more italian of course, despite the society rejection, so I think my kids will feel the same but, I have to give them a tastes of our roots too, the decision, in this case, is on our kids hand, so in urs.

In a day the sun will rise through the sky,
In a night the moon will glow between the trees,
The eagle will spread its wings and rise through the clouds
While mother earth births her beauty through the land.
The mounted horse will carry his rider with honour,
As the inian warrior searches the land,
With pride he rides strong for his journey is long.
By moonlight his fire dances as song of ancestry flows,
Giving thanks to the creator for all that grows,
In peace as he lays will the spirit guide flow, ,
May the soul of the indian forever remain strong!

I find this style of music by accident and then I lose it. This time I am saving numerous songs in a folder called My PTSD Mix - Native American songs. These works of art help me relax and escape the grip of the horrible nightmares I have every night, I would love to put this collection on a CD to listen to when I have to travel. I love listening to these works of art and they help me when I am having bad combat related PTSD episodes. Thank all of the artists that have contributed and those who have uploaded these to RUclips, now I can get a good nights sleep without the horrendous nightmares. Bless the Natives that have recorded these works of art, you help me make it through the nights.

The Chirapaq music is a native SOUTH American song.
      (keychowa language, Alborada Group, Peru)

  • @evelynsalinas7985
    @evelynsalinas7985 8 лет назад +162

The autor of Chirapaq is Sixto Ayvar, he is a peruvian musician who was inspired in native american music of north. So for this reason the sound is from north and the letter is quechua (south). His group is Alborada plays beautiful music of all america.

Search Alborada and their version is more andean where they are from. They only use the drum but their music is not inspired by north americans but their own culture. Sometimes they use other instruments from Australia but mostly quenas, antaras, etc. Originary from the andes. I only heard two songs from Ecuador played by them, the rest is composed by them except Ananau who is from a peruvian composer and is also played as north american music

    • @luisgallo3705

I saw an interview with Alborada. They said that has many north america friends and that's the reason why they mixed andean music with north America music on their. An example is the song Toro ara: it was inspired by Lakota lullaby. I love their music.

The spirit of the ancestors runs in the veins of there children.
We feel our connection to them in our very hearts.
We hear them speak there also.
We see them in our visions and dreams.
We know who we are because we know them in our heart.
Our spirit is one with them and they are with us, and nothing can take that from us. The blood of our ancestors is not the blood of the body that can die,
It is the blood of the spirit, and it flows like light and is eternal.
May it remain in you ever strong and full of love.

Most of them didn't really get much of a chance to fight back. They were unprepared for the ambushes, they didn't have weaponry that could compare to the equipment that the foreign attackers had, and many were fooled by fake acts of kindness, such as being given blankets that were infected with small pox and spreading the virus amongst their people. They didn't really "give their lives for their land", they got damn near eradicated by surprise and the survivors had no choice but to give in and live by the European settler's standards, or else they would die. Most modern natives are mixed with European genetics as well, also live life in modern American cultures that are similar to European culture, speak English and don't know very much of their ancestor's original language. Also before the invasion, tribes were enemies with eachother and killed eachother all the time, they only demonize Caucasians specifically because the most damage was done by them. Then all of the Tribes put their differences aside to see the Caucasians as the true enemy. The indigenous make things about "race" just as much as the European descendants do, if not more. It's sad but it's reality, the indigenous got completely dominated by the element of surprise from advanced cultures. Thats why I simply shake my head and smirk when an angry native descendant trys to claim they are alpha or that they are better than "the wh*te man".... when they got completely taken over and still live by "the wh*te man's" standards to this day. Physical attributes that are considered "Alpha" to clueless people, is nothing in comparison to strategic thinking and preparation. Mind has triumphed over matter for generations, and will continue to do so until the end of time.

I remember that they are only paintings. So beautiful and realistic! Great pairing. Thanks to the Artists !

First time hearing this song today and cried. I just fell to the ground. I felt like sitting on my knees with my palms on the tiles in the kitchen where I was when the song started and I cried like I don't think I've ever cried. I screamed in pain. I felt that I was far from my own. The feeling of homesickness completely overwhelmed me. I instantly understood the pain that enveloped me, as if a flame had been ignited in my soul, as if I had only now begun to really breathe. I felt pain in my chest I felt homesickness like I wanted in that instant to be at home like I was for so long time apart of my family. I am listening to this now for the second time today and again crying 😢 I don't understand the language but I feel at peace and I want to go back home. Don't feel lost anymore but I feel stuck in a place that it's not mine not my origins not my family. I released a pain from my chest this morning listening to this song and it's like a calling to go back home. So strange and so powerful. I just want to go back home 😞
Wooww I just saw now the translation of the song 🥹😲😥😭😭😭

Such a beautiful tribute my great grandmother was on a reservation in Canada but I can't track her down.if it wasn't for the native Americans my mother's ancestors on the mayflower would have not survived. I have deep respect and love for the native Americans. Our country should be more like them. Not destroying the land and respectful of nature and this amazing earth that we are destroying.

pues es una letra como para dedicar a nuestros padres, parte de la letra dice:
      Ayer al igual que hoy,
estoy llorando solo sin que nadie me vea,
He llorado solo, estuve triste solo, recordando a mi querida madre, a mi querido padre.

The caption underneath said: "O Great Spirit, grant that I may not judge my neighbor until I have walked a mile in his moccasins". It was an inspiration to me, unfortunately, it was destroyed.
