Can still remember the magic of hearing this for the first time - had never heard anything like it. Recorded in Nashville with the cream of the session musicians like Floyd Cramer, Anita Kerr singers etc. There were always rumours that the Everly Brothers were the backing singers on this - I wish. On 2 track machine, nothing overdubbed. Dolly Parton commented when she heard it for the first time, she was driving in Tennessee and had to pull over to listen to the song. Your mix is so clear and I always listen for that wee break in his voice at the end of the word take........ love all his stuff (just never cared for the song Candyman - by anyone), but Running Scared is number 2 favourite. Lovely stuff Pat, cheers!

This is "the" perfect remix with backing vocals in stereo, very pleasant by earphones.😊👍 The live version of A Black & White Night is also very pleasant. Sonny James also has it in his repertoire in 1968 on Capitol Records, also a good version 😊
@@radiowollaton8521 Thx for the quick response. That's a great pity, as it makes a bit of a mockery of the advertised benefits of a Premium subscription, if there are exclusions like this. Especially as even the higher quality is well below that offered by other music providers. All in all, little incentive to pay out so much each month.

A query: for subscribers to RUclips Premium, is the sound quality on these custom re-mixes better than the standard RUclips 128kbps?
RUclips only allows me to upload files at 128k. So Premium listeners won't get anything better.

@@tonyf9984 The only reason I would consider paying RUclips a fee is to lose some of the ads. But I think £11.99 month is a bit much for that !
