    Great idea having it so it can fold away small when not in use.

      +Peter Brown Thanks Peter! It's funny ... you never really notice some of your workshop "quirks" or habits until you start editing your own videos (at least I didn't). Then of course I put them in the video because my musician mind loves "playing the rests, as well as the notes."

    Great idea. Most of the caddy plans I've seen are too tall to fit in the fridge shelves, and who wants to carry around warm beer?

    Excellent project, I would like to know if you have the video of the open bottles that you use with the first beer cady.
    At the beginning of the video

      @BALES5000  7 лет назад

      I don't have a build video for the first caddy (if that's what you mean), but I do have an Instructable for it. It holds the taller/slimmer bottles.

    I make homemade beer and have been looking for a design for storing my beers since the reused boxes from the beer store don't last too long. While this design is a bit much for me (I want to make some modular stackable ones to hold a whole batch) it's very inspiring!

    • @BALES5000
      @BALES5000  8 лет назад

      +Andy Collier Like an interlocking apple box design idea ... could be pretty cool. I'd like to see the end result once you get them done.

    Far and away the coolest beer caddy design I've seen. One concern though on using hardboard for the components. My experiences with hardboard has been that it LOVES moisture, will wick it up and swell. That could be a problem with cold glass containers on a hot humid day. Still, I am going to tweak this design and use it.

    • @BALES5000
      @BALES5000  6 лет назад

      Totally agree in regard to hardboard - I’m was in prototype/ use what I had mode. Acrylic or highly figured veneered 1/4 plywood would be better.
