Fischl's backstory was explained in the past Golden Apple Archipelago, which is no longer available anymore (not getting a rerun most likely like every seasonal event that contains lore)
You can read in her character bios, she wasn't an introvert, she wanted to believe her fantasies are true, but was told by her parents to stop after years of playing along. Fischl was emotionally devastated to the point that Oz really appeared before her along with an Electro Vision, so Amy became the real Fischl Prinzessin Der Verurteilung as described in her favorite fantasy book.
Since we can play as her in Honkai as well, so technically Fischl wasn't lying about travelling to different world.
Fischl is a great representation of autism to me, an autistic person.
Also can we just talk about how Beidou killed a monster and got her vision.
But Fischl just wanted her fantasy to be true to the point that she got it.
@@Kaltsit- what's common so far about how people get an electro vision is that they were at the moment of their life that changed their personality or how they perceived the world. Burst of emotion of some sort.

That's one thing I don't like about hoyoverse(or genshin in particular), that limited time events have lore and story in them. And if you miss it by any chance, you won't be able to experience it ever.
Fischl's story, well just like albedo, has always been in limited time events. Whether that's 1.1 unreconciled stars event, 1.2 dragonspine event, 1.6 golden apple archipelago(my fav), 2.3 susbedo event, 2.6 irodori event, 2.8 golden apple returns event or the recent weinlese fest event. And lantern rites as well. Like all of these events have substantial lore and plot development.
Definitely recommend checking them out. Like golden apple events were such an experience.

We witnessed the dream worlds of kazuha, xinyan, fischl, mona with exclusive open world islands dedicated to them filled with puzzles and domains(with an awesome music, fischl's domain's battle ost, omg, it was so good, still one of my fav battle themes). It was a setup for sumeru storyline. There were like exclusive mechanics like how mona's island was filled with mirage related puzzles and fischl's one was castles and everything and there were even talking ravens, squirels, boats and what not like whole disney vibe. Regrettably, I doubt anyone has recorded the whole exploration. Like we were literally in immernachtrietch(idk if i spelled that correctly). We went into the sky using an invisible ladder and saw the stars soaring from the ground going into the sky. I still remember that moment vividly.
I think murdererofbirds has recorded all of them..

@@brendansmk yep, I'm a big fan. But I was talking about like exploration stuff. The main event storyline is different. It doesn't make you explore everything. Like Xinyan's domain and Mona's one as well totally omitted the puzzle portions. Like domain during story was so short as compared to actual domain.
Also, if we don't consider domain exploration. There's like that one part that iirc even Arnold did offline(or maybe I missed the vod but I doubt it), the part where the stars move to the heavens on Mona's island. That was one of my fav parts in whole game.
Oh my god this song is what got me into genshin a month after hoyofair, and I was just watching something and I got the music video ad and it was annoying at first and then I was like oh my god thats actually really good, so seeing you play the song is really meaningful to me :)
I just remembered how amazing this Hoyofair was. My personal favourite were the one with Cyno batteling the gods, also the musicaI and probably the Shogunate at third place. 💜🔥

The Diagnosis is my absolute favorite
The Star of Fate made me cry so much- it’s basically if all the bad things that happened to the characters never happened to them. Ex: Diluc’s dad never died, Scara was never abandoned, etc.
The Diagnosis always makes me laugh so much, it's so well done

unfortunately, i think it’s just setup by the creator that way ;-; sometimes it’s not a big deal, but in this case, it was blocking important info about the upcoming full episode. glad i found out about it through the comments, though.
