Места скруток надо пропаивать оловом с канифолью, без кислоты. Это обязательно!!! В таких местах , провод подвержен нагрузкам, плохой контакт может привести к нехорошим последствиям!

Sou do Recife-PE, no Nordeste do Brasil!
Захожу в хозяйственный, беру термоусадку, нож, напильник, пакет угля, пачку соды, пластилин и поллитра суперклея и готовлюсь приятно повести полдня ремонтируя вилку. Гордо прохожу мимо отдела с новыми вилками, это для лохов, во-первых дешево, во-вторых легко, в третьих делов на 10 минут, куда мне потом еще полдня девать))) И, главное, это безопасно, а так экстрим, в любой момент вилка пыхнет в скрутках, весело йопта))) Ремонт без пайки, это не ремонт, а говно. Дизлайк.

"About" says you are in the US but this looks like a cord from the USSR. The plug looks Russian. Where will you use this? Hopefully you won't. Looks like a repair from Soviet times.
