I am getting ready to replace my master cylinder on a '97 4runner. Is it not also neccessary to bleed the brake lines in sequence(pass rear, driver rear, pass front, driver front) as well as the master cylinder?
we have the same vehicle. i fully broke down my master cylinder and it looked respectably in great condition internally. including the thick rubber seals. i bled and vehicle stops good 1 time but after holding brake pedal it sinks to the floor, no leaks. rear wheel cylinders not leaking and drums adjusted. any idea?
Hello i have problem with my 4runner break Just when i park it for some days the break will fall totally i need your help. The master cylinder is the new one.
@@nickstachniuk4983 How will brake booster help that situation? Sounds more like a leaky rear brake cylinder to me. Definitely not the brake booster wow come on man
You’ll see a steady stream of brake fluid rather than “popping” of the air bubbles coming out. I hope I described it right 😂 thanks for watching 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Great video as usual!! Props to Suki too, for the photography!!!
To the point nice instructions Roy.

You should bleed the brake lines after installing the master cylinder :)
Good morning, how do you know? When all the air is out, brake fluid is still coming out.
Why no gasket between master and booster
My master cylinder fluid seems to go up to max or minimum when I use my car any suggestions?

You get 2-3 pedal pumps of pure fluid, no bubbles...
Also the constant fluid should be a lot poweelrful not just a stupid flow
Very good video thank you. Also glad to see someone not wearing gloves like me lol
