I hope you decided to take the little house. The more affordable heating over the winter should make you feel a bit more secure and the privacy would be great, along with the bigger garden. Even if you want to start decorating right away, despite being very understandably tired, just pace yourself. It takes a little time to decide what you want to decorate and how, anyway, so take your time. I'm excited for you.
Having watched all the videos of Kate in the other “new” cottage (now watching these old ones that came before I found her) she sure did make it SUPER lovely and cozy. Kate has the most amazing creative touch, including her eye for colour. Her decorating so inspires me and makes me want my own little boho “cottage”. Sadly, here in Australia, e we are not allowed to change anything in rentals, no new paint, not even hold our nails to hang paintings and plants etc. Houses all have to have windows coverings and many of them cannot be changed so it’s a wee bit frustrating BUT I look forward to the day when I can hopefully 🤞🏻 have my own little place that I can do what I want with.
Oh the new one isn’t that much bigger so you can definitely make it cozy. And a bigger garden, warmer winters,more privacy… oh my as long as I could afford it I would do it! I wonder what you did!

I would go for the move. I did it 4 years ago and moved during my busy season. It was tiring but so glad I did it to gain a garden and more space for my business. My energy improved as did my emotional health.

By accident that I found you here and what a coincidence it is because I saw that your cottage is red and white like mine. Just like you I have just started this channel in April this year. So much had happened in this world lately and I was under depression for a long time since Covid. Being alone too much isn't good for our mental health despite the allure of living alone in a remote place. I'm clearing out and starting again as well, it can be overwhelming just getting rid of things but it's a relief to reorganize. Good luckx

Oh Kate, the 4 season home sounds charming and you're free to make it your own, honey go. I understand you being tired and exhausted. Moving takes an awful lot out of you mentally, physically and even emotionally. I get it, believe me I do. Rest in the new place. If Buffalo just a few days back was any indication of winter this season, I say yes, go. Current cottage isn't equipped for that dearest. We must keep you and Charlie safe. You seem like such a peach of a person, I'm sure you'll be able to find willing, supportive hands to help you. Pray for guidance, wisdom and direction. I bought myself a sauna blanket. I sweat buckets in that thing. Google and see what you think about them. That's how I quit my gym membership as I only used the sauna there. Hoping for the best decision for you and Charlie 💕🍁🍂😊

So I think it’s just the timing that’s the problem 🤔 BTW I’m the same re-moving, I have to make my new place mine straight away. There’s no living out of boxes etc for me. In fact every time I move and the boxes are flattened and out away you’d never know id just moved in, even if it takes me to the wee hours of the morning to do it all lol
Listening to your description of alls the pros for the ‘new’ house the decision sounds easy, it has so much to offer you and you have just one con - you are mega tired. Yet I’m sensing a big “but” holding you back. I know you are feeling exhausted but this would not stop you if you really wanted the place. You have put so much of yourself and so much love into your lovely cottage that I can perfectly understand why you would want to stay. I think the big question to ask yourself is: “will I be gutted when I get my energy back, or when winter really sets in , if I miss out on this opportunity, or, will I be really gutted to leave my adorable little, boho cottage”? I believe you can make any house your Little Boho Cottage, because is not about the size or the shape, is about the vibe. You have an unique way to decorate and transform places into perfect homes for you. That being said... I would choose to live in a more confortable place, if I were you. See... Life is umpredictable. At some point, you might not have the resources (and I don't mean money, but mental and phisical health, will, disposition, etc.) to maintain a house that is not properly prepared for four seasons. So, living unconfortable is not realy sustainable at long therm. But, if you love your cottage so much and don't want to move, I would sugest that you start making changes do prepare it for all seasons while you have the resources. ;)

Sounds like you would like to move , the warmer winters, especially if cheaper to run because the house is built better sounds sensible going forward. Having a bigger garden makes your face light up ! The privacy too .....altho you are tired , maybe if you decide to go then the excitement and adrenaline will help you through! Oh Kate, the 4 season home sounds charming and you're free to make it your own, honey go. I understand you being tired and exhausted. Moving takes an awful lot out of you mentally, physically and even emotionally. I get it, believe me I do. Rest in the new place. If Buffalo just a few days back was any indication of winter this season, I say yes, go. Current cottage isn't equipped for that dearest. We must keep you and Charlie safe. You seem like such a peach of a person, I'm sure you'll be able to find willing, supportive hands to help you. Pray for guidance, wisdom and direction. I bought myself a sauna blanket. I sweat buckets in that thing. Google and see what you think about them. That's how I quit my gym membership as I only used the sauna there. Hoping for the best decision for you and Charlie 💕🍁🍂😊

So I think it’s just the timing that’s the problem 🤔 BTW I’m the same re-moving, I have to make my new place mine straight away. There’s no living out of boxes etc for me. In fact every time I move and the boxes are flattened and out away you’d never know id just moved in, even if it takes me to the wee hours of the morning to do it all lol

Listening to your description of alls the pros for the ‘new’ house the decision sounds easy, it has so much to offer you and you have just one con - you are mega tired. Yet I’m sensing a big “but” holding you back. I know you are feeling exhausted but this would not stop you if you really wanted the place. You have put so much of yourself and so much love into your lovely cottage that I can perfectly understand why you would want to stay. I think the big question to ask yourself is: “will I be gutted when I get my energy back, or when winter really sets in , if I miss out on this opportunity, or, will I be really gutted to leave my adorable little, boho cottage”? Go with your heart and intuition and I wish you well ❤

I believe you can make any house your Little Boho Cottage, because is not about the size or the shape, is about the vibe. You have an unique way to decorate and transform places into perfect homes for you.
That being said... I would choose to live in a more confortable place, if I were you.
See... Life is umpredictable. At some point, you might not have the resources (and I don't mean money, but mental and phisical health, will, disposition, etc.) to maintain a house that is not properly prepared for four seasons. So, living unconfortable is not realy sustainable at long therm.
But, if you love your cottage so much and don't want to move, I would sugest that you start making changes do prepare it for all seasons while you have the resources. ;)
