  • I like this show a lot and hope to make it to the next one out. There wasn't much there for me this time around. If you like Pokemon, you probably had a great time...

the 95 draft class was solid!!! I wish they had some better rookie cards. I never did understand why they didn't make Finest refractors for rookies that yr.

The Dale Earnhardt cards were part of a reprint set press pass did. I actually own a copy of that Gold auto and it was actually made in 1999.

@@bigjssportscards5354 interesting. The card said 2003 on the back bottom left

That's the 2003 copyright for the reprint.
The back of the original 1999 card is cropped into the top left corner of the back of the 2003 reprint, making room for some additional text. In the middle, near the bottom on the back, the reprint cites the original 1999 set.
The seller's comments about hand numbering made me chuckle.

With the overproduction of cards, why are dollar box sucking these days?? Have we picked all the good stuff out and now no one is replenishing them like they should? Are dealers just not buying collections much anymore? Are dealers just selling the sand shit month after month after month? Something is going on in the hobby……..

I think a lot of people are too stubborn to turn their dollar boxes into .25 and .10 boxes. I don't expect dollar boxes to be loaded, but it's not uncommon for me to go through multiple rows and not grab a single card. Even Pacers silvers for my binders...I can grab some of those for like .40 on COMC. And I'll see them for $2-3 at shows.

@ Couldn’t agree more!!! I’ve said people are just stubborn on prices. Lower your prices and sell cards instead of just carrying the same cards from show to show every month!!!!

Ive said the same thing after each card show for awhile now. Do you think we ever see a retuen to decent .25/.50 boxes? I’m concerned we wont unless the price of wax starts to drop to something closer to reasonable.

@@garybeal9413 I think we will, but probably not anytime soon. I see them occasionally, but not as much as I should.

@ Dollar and 2 dollar, hell, even 5 dollar boxes at card shows should be quarter boxes and dime boxes. I went to a dealers 5 dollar boxes at the National and not one dam card was worth 25 cents. What are we doing?????
