Hi 👋 Great piece! I think this would look great as a slab that's been slumped in a slight curve in order to stand on its own. I'm in East Texas now, but I'm from the Gulf Coast and things like this make me miss the salt water so much - just NOT the hurricanes 😉 Thank you, Mr. Schuler, for generously sharing your fun project with us all! God Bless 😃
You and Tabitha are great and good for learning more and keep me from the fear of thinking about selling, been asked but I keep everything, as I feel it’s just not good enough to even show anyone yet, but I am getting there.
Hi Jamaison! I loved watching this video as I had already ordered murrine from Tabitha. I made mine last weekend. I'm very happy with it....except I had a rogue sting ray tail roll😳😳. I saw this through my window during firing. Ugh. I'll fix it. Sending you pics via messenger. I am a learner too.
It is absolutely beautiful. I have made a bunch of underwater things using the fuse and freeze techniques. But I agree Tabitha makes beautiful stuff and has great videos.
Jamaison, I watch your videos from day one. It is so interesting to see how your skills improved. I also love your enthusiasm when you start a new art work. This piece is beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing and showing the whole process. I look forward to your next project. Keep up the good work!
I saw your first video on the copper carbonate powder and I KNEW I had to get some and try it! I love it! In fact I made some pieces in my kiln and incorporated them into a stained glass panel I'm making. Looks super cool! Thanks again! PS- Love this underwater piece so much!
Absolutely beautiful piece! Thanks again for another great video. Your teaching style is so easy to follow and understand. You have wonderful imagination when designing pieces and you always inspire me to try something new and not be afraid, because you make me feel like we are all learning together lol ! Thanks again for sharing, it is always an experience!!
Man let me just say , that this piece is astounding. I thought while you were adding the pieces that this wasnt going to look to good , but brother i was wrong. You are amazing. I love this piece!
Yet another piece of gorgeousness! Great job! About the copper carbonate - I wonder if one could glue/sprinkle on the background and cap with clear powder? Never used that before - curious. Thanks, Jamaison!
I have a couple more questions about your fabulous video: How did you make the clear bubble filled pebbles/puddles that you added along with everything else? Also could you explain a bit more about how you glued pieces of tekta to raise this off the backing? What size length width and depth did you use and how many pieces were placed on the backing to keep the piece secure?
Those bubble pieces were made the exact same way using copper carbonate between two smaller pieces of clear glass… just smaller versions pre-fused in a different firing. I used thicker, 6mm pieces of glass about the size of a scrabble tile glued to the back and to the frame. I think I used 6 pieces?
Yes, it is quite heavy. I don’t trust the hanger that came with the frame - it would need to be reinforced. I have it displayed on a stand in my home right now.
As I’ve heard, you anneal not just for thickness but also for the type of fuse… tack/contour fuse needs longer anneal because it creates more stress in the glass. One estimate was that for a tack fuse, anneal for twice the length of the thickness. And in the end, better to be safe than sorry. So yes, it may be conservatively long, but the cry factor was high and so why rush it?
Oh my goodness! I just loved this video! You inspire me! Did you fuse the fish by themselves first before you used them, like you did the coral & some of the other pieces, or did you use them straight out of the bag?
I love your color, this is amazing! I really admire your choice of the color combination. Tabitha is great, not only her beautiful product, generous sharing information videos, she also sooooo nice! I lost my email from her of the glass reaction, so I emailed her if she can send me again, second day, 4 email from her, all the informations are there!

Thank you Denise!
Amazing, I love it, particularly the use of the rolled edges pieces of glass
But your artistry made this piece for sure! Thank you!!
Love it, so Dimensional. Such fun things that Tabitha sent you! Love that mounting. Just need the beach house now! lol

You can do it!
@@JamaisonSchuler oh gosh thanks for the encouragement.
Awesome piece of work. Canned or wait to see the rest of your videos!
*sigh* I’m going broke watching all your videos. But I absolutely love this!
This is still my all-time favorite piece!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
Wowza! Thank you for another amazing video! What a spectacular piece. Tabitha’s pieces are wonderful.
She’s so talented!

This has to be the prettiest fused glass art that I have ever seen. Thank you for posting this.
Oh wow!!! Thank you so much! ❤️

Aw, thank you!
This is beautiful. I love the bubbles. Thanks for sharing.
Love this Jamaison!! You and Tabitha have the best videos!!
Just so beautiful!

Thanks for sharing Jamaison. A great video with some inspirational ideas. The finished product is stunning.
I LOVE this!!!!

Glad you liked it! I often have my doubts while I’m building, too! 😂
Another fabulous video! I can't wait to try Copper Carbonate!
Absolutely adorable. You have inspired me once more. Excellent video, the way you explain step by step is amazing. Thanks so much Jamaison.
Love it! What wonderful color and texture combinations. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Incredibly awesome peace, I just love how it turned out.
Yet another piece of gorgeousness! Great job! About the copper carbonate - I wonder if one could glue/sprinkle on the background and cap with clear powder? Never used that before - curious. Thanks, Jamaison!
Hmmm... never tried clear powder to cap. My assumption has been you need the solid glass to trap the bubbles.
Gorgeous! I love all the different elements and how some of them go off the edge. It looks great mounted in the shadow box.
Wow! That is beautiful. Super nice piece!
Thank you!!!
Gorgeous! I love the depth and texture
This video was the talk of the shop over lunch yesterday! In fact we placed an order for fish and sea creatures!
How fun!

Отличная работа 👍
Do you ever sleep?! Another great video. Thank you so much for sharing!
really like the storage box your using to store your millefiore etc, could you tell me the make please?
Gosh, I’ll check to see if it has markings. I think it’s OLD as I got it second hand
@@JamaisonSchuler oh ok, don't worry, thanks anyway
What a beautiful piece, I love it. I have to ask though, is it heavy in the frame as in would that box frame be ok for someone to put on their wall
Yes, it is quite heavy. I don’t trust the hanger that came with the frame - it would need to be reinforced. I have it displayed on a stand in my home right now.
Beautifully detailed tutorial. I am trying this now and it is in the kiln. Curious about the anneal time. Seems really long.
As I’ve heard, you anneal not just for thickness but also for the type of fuse… tack/contour fuse needs longer anneal because it creates more stress in the glass. @@JamaisonSchuler Yes, high "cry factor". I would just hate it if it cracked! I will TRY to be patient while I bite all my nails off! :o)
Beautiful piece! How did you make the long pieces than taper? Those are lovely!
I did not make them - they are vitrigraph pulls I got from another artist.
Oh my goodness! I just loved this video! You inspire me!
Did you fuse the fish by themselves first before you used them, like you did the coral & some of the other pieces, or did you use them straight out of the bag?
Straight from the bag!
Beautiful... what would the price of that be to buy it?
I sold it already! Would prefer not to disclose
I ❤️ it!
I love your color, this is amazing! I really admire your choice of the color combination.
