If this goes into effect, I will boycott San Antonio deliveries. I will NOT deliver there at all. And I hope other truckers do the same. We are already restricted with hours of service and non existent parking, but now, the spaces that we can find, they want to take those away. Yet, they still want goods delivered to San Antonio. They make it inconvenient for us, we make it inconvenient for them. Plain and simple!
MAKE MORE TRUCK PARKING PROBLEM SOLVED!, PEOPLE LOVE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TRUCKS PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS BUT DONT COMPLAIN WHEN THEYRE WIPING THEIR ASS WITH THE TOILET PAPER AND GETTING FOOD FROM THE GROCERY STORES THAT WERE ALL BOUGHT OVER BY TRUCKS, SO MUCH SPACE ON THAT ROAD FOR CARS TO MANEUVER AROUND THE TRUCKS, F HOA
They need to be more appreciative. Truckers move the country. They already deal with disrespectful drivers on the daily, and then come home and now not being able to park. 😡
God forbid a driver goes home for a couple days after a couple months out being alone on the road. All I’m hearing is a bunch of Karens and Kevins over exaggerating just so they can remove the “eye sores” from eyesight of their property. Once I heard HOA I already knew what the real reason was.
Every parking spot taken away needs to be paid for by providing another one nearby. If that's how it's supposed to work with tax cuts, then that's how it works with parking and other service cuts.
The homeowners have a right to complain. Many of these truck drivers don't even live in the neighborhoods where their big rigs are blocking the streets. It's really entitled, selfish behavior. San Antonio is the kind of place where 'owning a big truck' means you can do anything you please. In any other city, these trucks would be towed.
Orrr you can stop waisting money on useless stuff and making money go into your bank accounts how about instead invest in making parking lots these drivers can park at. This isn't the only city thats done this and it's always a person from the HOA with to much time on there hands talking but not doing anything, truck drivers running 14 hour a day, then have to go park but there's the issue, the lack of parking anywhere in these cities, they make it impossible for drivers to get to there locations to deliver at times and when they get there they're not allowed to stay there to be able to safely sleep and reset there clocks to be able to drive to there next location without parking somewhere unsafe like the side of the highway and being at risk of being hit by another tired driver or distracted 4 wheeler and then get sued for it because the other vehicle operator was tired or distracted, these people don't see the issues truck drivers face because they got 4 wheelers and drive up to the store or restaurant and just walk inside and purchase there items and then get mad when a truck driver doing there delivery is backing up from the roadway due to how small the parking lot is
I usually don't side with HOAs but the residents are right on this one. Nobody wants to be in their house and be subjected to 18-wheelers coming and going at all hours of the day and night. What surprised me is San Antonio is a big place and this parking situation could be a cash cow for someone who was willing to buy a few acres and allow truck parking. Even if you only charged $300/month per truck and had enough space to accommodate 50 trucks that's $15K/month.
Most people who participated in the economy receive goods from stores that truckers brought. So maybe you should care or stop using products delivered by truck drivers
Bet his wife doesn’t think twice getting that item from Target delivered by a big rig!
These homeowners REALLY should be upset if these trucks weren’t on the road delivering goods!!! WITHOUT TRUCKS AMERICA STOPS!!!!!
💯💯
ALL TRUCKERS EVERYWHERE NEED TO STOP DRIVING WE ARE NOT APPRECIATED ANYWHERE
There is just not enough parking for trucks. It's not just here, it's all over the country. That street had plenty of pull over space.
💯💯They love to complain about a problem that could be easily fixed but it ain’t making them money they ain’t gonna make more truck parking that’s free

Tired of this parking crap. Leave the damn drivers alone!!!

John wood needa stop crying
That man has to much time on his hands .
Maybe people should stop buying stuff and truckers would stop coming to unwanted places
How stupid are you?
And what if one of those truck drivers has a dirty past..??
Do you?
I agree. These truck drivers need to find somewhere else to park. Very trashy looking.
There’s nowhere to park because they don’t wanna make more truck parking even with all the land that Texas has
