  • Hello & Welcome to this milestone video of Harnetty Railways
Before we start I apologizes for a small mistake in the title as I said 475 instead of 575 so I'm sorry about the mistake.
    Now back to business.
I am at my friends of The Severn Valley Railway during the line's Pacific Power Event featuring 6 locomotives 2 mix traffic & 4 pacific's.
The stars of the event that stole the show were The A1 Trust's 60163 Tornado & The National Collection's 60103 Flying Scotsman both paired for there run with the line Gresley Teak Stock.
This was the 1st time since the mid 1990's since Flying Scotsman has visited the severn valley when the A3 was owned by Sir William Mcalpine at the time.
We start at Kiddermister we leave on the 8am departure for Bridgnorth behind Scotsman.
The weather on the day of filming was appalling. We soon arrive at Bridgnorth were 60163 Tornado was waiting to take over for the non-stop run to Kidderminster.
I apologizes for the rain water going on the lens as i did the best I could to keep the filming going.
Tornado performed magnificently over the 16 miles along the river severn and sure enough we arrive back at Kidderminster.
We see the A1 run round ready for the 11.10am departure and shortly tornado was on the move again.
We head to Bewdley to see Flying Scotsman coming through the station before we return back to Kidderminster to see Tornado arrive back.
While I was boarding the last round trip non-stop run Tornado went to get turned on the turntable as the A1 was to leave the railway the next day. But that is another story.
Soon we left Kidderminster on the 17.45pm departure for Bridgnorth once again tornado ran brilliantly all the way to the end of the line were the A1 finished for the day.
By this time the rain had stopped at last just in time for the return run.
Scotsman was waiting to take over for the run back to Kidderminster and during this was made in darkness during the night running I was catching the glow of the fire as Scotsman.
Scotsman performed magnificently as we raced along and sure enough we arrive back at Kidderminster in darkness.
We finish this special video as Flying Scotsman heads off to Bewdley.
There are other videos videos of this event but will be uploaded in due course this video is exclusively for 60103 Flying Scotsman & 60163 Tornado.
The normal services will be uploaded soon.
Thanks for reading enjoy the 575th video of Harnetty Railways
