I absolutely love his take on things, to everything he's being asked he just always has a brillant, deep answer. He must do a lot of thinking. Truly inspirational, even more on a personal level than the musical one. I take a deep bow to you Mr Vai!

Totally, that's one of the things I like the most about him, he goes beyond the mere practice of the guitar and talks about concepts that enable you to improve yourself and the way you express who you truly are.

Whenever I hear Steve talk about life it's inspiring. I love what he said about music and life. How music is not his life it's what he does in life. Life is something deeper more profound I think he said. It's because of this I think that that profoundness is reflected in his music. We need more awake people like this in every part of the world. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts Steve? And thank you to those that interviewed him. Cheers my people!

I like listening not only to his music but also what he can tell us about music even life, because it's wise and intelligent person. Very modest at the same time - for example, as a reply he gave story about Yngwie , not sparing many good words on him. The example with honey was very fine, he's awesome - how can he find so many time to be also beekeeper? I wouldn't suppose he is beekeeper! :) My Father was and I know it takes a lot of time and sometimes is...painfull hobby :)

Steve is totally right about the "same old notes". Technical skill is clearly at a new high considering technological advancement is growing at an exponential rate (easier to create "music" without any musical experience). No meat to those skeletons.

Hey people, don't get me wrong, I love Steve as a musician and also as a person...but here's some advice...when it comes to smiling Steve, just don't do it, it would be much better if you just use your natural expressions and not "fake" a smile because it comes across as being very fake, which it really is and I say this because you must be a very sincere person and sincere people have trouble faking laughs and smiles. take care.

What r u tellinge about? The technical quality is perfect, sufficiently loud and HD! I've heard many Steve's interviews and often wereeither too silent or LD rather than HD! Beside it i saw Infomusic.PL, so it's not typical Infomusic channel by probably made by Polish interviewers and you know only earlier, the US recordings?

What I am "tellinge" ?? about is they could have supplied a table mike or a clip on mike instead of him having to hold a hand mike ,or maybe it is just because I am British (Scottish) you know !.:).

TERRIBLE ANSWER to what is music to you.
MUSIC IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE.
(Far more important than, Love, for example.)
That's WHY all other mediums USE MUSIC:
    SPORTS
    MOVIES
    TV
    DANCE
    POLITICS
    and
    on
    and
    on.
It's WHY you don't watch your fave movie 4,000 times but you NEVER listen to your fave song LESS than 10,000 times.
MUSIC IS THE GREATEST DRUG AND TREAT EVER, as well.

    • @FuadiansyahSamsuri
      @FuadiansyahSamsuri 8 лет назад

His answer is more like in a philosophical state which maybe you or me haven't reach that state yet...
For now, just keep your opinion to yourself. Maybe someday in the future you may found the meaning of his answer...
