I don't remember the episode, but they once discussed how many jokes you would need to know so that you could tell them to your friend/significant other, and by the time you looped back around they would have forgotten the first one, resulting in a never-ending cycle of jokes. Like you said, I feel like Arin has fulfilled that for himself.
