All new releases from Navitus are made in small batches and released in the same month. AI, Paulina Shar (she speaks a lot about letting your Navitus bottles macerate), and Gabby’s fragrances from Navitus, you have to let it sit. Oxidize and macerate. For example, once opened, I spray (oxidize - let air into the bottle) my entire body with 10-15 sprays, place the bottle back in the box, and let it sit (macerate) in my perfume closet for a few weeks.
Many reviewers say, “It was a slow like/love.” Knowing what I just told you, I almost declutter Gabby’s recent release, “Melon Kiss.” Luckily, I didn't bc all I had to do was let it sit. This rule goes for all brand-new bottles & forgive me if you already knew this. It’s unfortunate how so many people judge fragrances on the first sniff or performance because they're missing out on many great perfumes.
@leilani_808 Im so glad you told me! I was unaware of this. This totally explains why I didn't love Amorous Intense at first but now I do.
@@MargaritaThePerfumista You're welcome. 😊I learned about the "maceration process" from personal experience. I bought a few bottles from Oakcha & back then, once I opened it, I'd spray once on my wrist. The initial spray never smelled nice. This was the case for all the bottles I purchased. After a few weeks, I smelled it again and the scent not only smelled fantastic, but it also lasted much longer. After a few bottles, this theory of mine (spray first, let sit) led me to research and I learned about perfume oxidation and maceration.
Now, every brand new bottle of perfume, I open, spray 10-15x, place back in box and come back to it in a week or so. My Amour Infinite is sitting pretty for me. I’ll bring her out in another week or so. 😊
