Love this review and thanks for including my clips !! Those clear cup tabas are absolutely elite...the level of skill and time required for them are huge. I'm pretty sure the "Pinch Family" squishies are made from TPR, the same material as mochi squishies. They are easily mass produced and cheaper than tabas but obviously not as satisfying. The oily stuff on the giant cat paw was almost certain Vaseline or demolding oil. I've actually seen videos of creators boiling their tabas to get rid of that residue!

Yeah I have issues 🙈🤣 I can't believe someone else not only knows about those crazy thoughts but you were also thinking exactly what I was thinking about when I saw her squishing these squishy things 😃 I feel almost normal now that I know that im not the only person who has these thoughts !! The tik tok shop did such a good job with all of the squishies! I can't believe how detailed and lovely they were! I hadn't been considering getting one before this video even though I was aware of them, but this has me reconsidering for sure!!!

imma be honest, I don't understand this squishy trend. maybe because my desire to fidget has a lot to do with tactile. I want to feel the thing doing whatever it's doing. it being trapped in a bag doesn't do that for me ALSO that is NOT just a fish, that is Hangyodon. He's a sanrio friend
I think it's mostly just for longevity. There's nothing stopping you from taking them out of the bag and playing with them by hand (which I'm sure is also quite fun), but because they're designed to have SUCH a tacky texture, they will collect dirt faster than you can blink. In the bag they will last seemingly indefinitely.
I felt the same way but I decided to get one to try and ended up really enjoying it. It feels almost like squeezing water. Really smooth and soft at the same time, it's definitely unique. Also pretty easy on the hands if you have joint issues like me. But if you want to feel them directly you can always coat them in corn starch to remove the stickiness and still get the softness!
The smoothie one was out of this world level realistically detailed ❤ also, I appreciate someone looking at these and actually playing with them in the bag!

I can defiantly see the intrigue with these squishes and may pick up a small one on payday. Also it's called flocking powder that makes them look fuzzy. Loose it's not the best feeling on the skin, but glued down it makes things nice and soft.

You can play with these out the bag! If they pickup dirt or lint you can run it under water for a bit like you would a mochi and it would get rid of the lint n dirt!
I have dabbled in making Squishies. For Halloween I made an anatomical red heart and then flocked it in red. SOOOO much fun to play with. :D Made smaller squishies but yeah, the larger are so much more fun!

ive always played with tape and stickers because i loved sticky things but they always ran out of stickiness. slime has a residue and wet feel so that didn't satisfy me much either, i have some taba squishies on the way here so im excited for it as i want it for the stickiness but also the softness is a plus. cant wait to feel them
The ones with less spread from the same shop are the ones with flocking powder. You dont like the flocking powder, it makes the squishy not stick to the bag which is whats making it slow-retracting! Its like a trade off for the sandy sound.
I love taba squishies!!! Especially with the fact that they are an amazing fidget with the packaging. I tend to absoloutly destroy any fidgets given to me so I am always super happy when I find one that is more durable.
