I don't understand why people trash Creed. I've always really liked them. They might be a christian band, but they still can rock hard. This song proves it.
@solomon1021 it was said that the Apostle Peter had a potty mouth, and in spite of that, Jesus still appointed him the head of the church. To be Christian doesn't mean you are perfect. It's about making mistakes, and trying to do better. God sent the Holy Spirit to aid us in this task. Scott Stapp like many others made mistakes during his journey, but that doesn't make him any less Christian. Don't be like the Pharisees, Jesus said, "he came for the outcasts."
@@solomon1021 not a CHRISTIAN BAND huh? pentecostal come straight of Mayas and Incas and vikings! RIGHT? Pentecostals ARE CRISTIANS. PROTESTANT CHARISMATIC CHRISTIANS. wait, EVANGELICALS ARENT CHRISTIANS>? EVANGELICAL PROTESTANTISM. I hope you do understand.......before saying nonsense.
Creed one of the best rock bands ever! I hope for another reunion down the road! It's 2018, I just saw Scott doing all his Creed songs August 24th, and 26th! He sounds amazing! I have footage from all 3 here on you tube! Just look up Scott Stapp, All American Rock House, there's a part 1 and part 2! He was outstanding, his band sound amazing! I'd still loved to see a Creed reunion and album but I quess time will tell! Scott has a new album coming, Mark has AB and his solo music but it would be a joy to see the original rockin together on stage!
This song wasn't written several years after the Fred Durst thing though. That controversy happened during the summer of 2000. I'm not sure when "Bullets" was written exactly, but the CD "Weathered" of which Bullets is the first track was released on Nov. 20, 2001. Bullets easily fits the controversy, as well as the people who have trashed Creed like you mentioned.
@AndrewMann552 I'm not a huge Creed fan myself, but I really dig this song. In my opinion, this song is better than music that screams too much. No offence to screamo fans.
no its not. this song was written several years after the limp bizkit thing happened, this song is just stapp's way of complaining about all the mindless critics who hated on this band, and trashed their name behind the cover of the media.
This song was written because of the conflict between Scott Stapp and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. Basically Scott was saying, don't talk about me behind my back, say it to my face.
dude, i didnt say he sounds exactly like this, I said he's starting to. as in it's a working progress...he has the rasp down, but his voice is still lower than it was during these days because he is older...just look at Brian Johnson from AC/DC..he's had the same worn out voice for 22 years and still makes his material sound great. The same goes for stapp, but he is recovering /watch?v=8sxTBUy29D0&list=FLMgTDqs6LgXoXQlQkrNO2kA&index=20&feature=plpp_video
@notoriousb41 I am a Creed fan and If you can't see that on the chorus that he has affects on his voice then I don't know what to tell you. Heavy Chorus and delay.4 sure.
no effects man..you will know if effects are used. He was awesome way back! sounded like the record, every time he sang live.. you obviously aren't a creed fan..check out their performance in Woodstock 99, or the bootlegs from 98. You can see them all here in youtube.
Really dude?? The citizens were NOT responsible for that! Saying that country is resposible for what happened on 9/11 would be like saying the people of the USA would be responsible for some gang criminals who destroyed a major city in the middle east! That didn't happen, that I know of, but that's the equivalent of what you are saying! Unless I misunderstood you, if so sorry.
Lol, one reason is because people think they are a christian band, and that scares people for some reason! Even thought they aren't. They even say so in one of their songs, which goes to show how much those people really even know! Another reason is because people (for some retarted mind boggling reason!) want to compare them to bands like Nickelback and 3 Doors Down!!! WTF!? NO! Those bands don't have anything to say in their lyrics and they're music is dull rehashed junk! Creed RULES!!!
I don't understand why people trash Creed. I've always really liked them. They might be a christian band, but they still can rock hard. This song proves it.
Not a Christian band, Scott was raised pentecostal. Influences his lyrics. No Christian band says Goddamn in a song. listen to "What's this life for"

I hope you do understand.......before saying nonsense.
thinking that you dont belong to X religion, for saying or omitting 1 word ......just READ THE BOOK.
The absolute titan that was creed.
Whoever was in charge of effects at this place nailed it just as well as the band did!

2024 hoy, y siempre mi infancia es mi trauma esa canción desde niño
I love it at the start how Stapp is like sort of tryin to look at Mark as if he's thinkin "SHit shit are we in time?!" Hahaha killer performance!

Still I have no idea why so many people hated this band back then?
They did not know... had no idea. But there's still a chance for them to realise the TRUTH.
to everyone that doesn't consider Mark amazing, look at how fast his fingers were moving
Badass!

Back when live bands were good :)
at the start, a concerned Scot looks 2his left. He must sense Mark is about 2explode with awesomeness.

Thanks Scott Stapp
Mark holds his prs neck like hes holding a fucking dragons neck lol! He makes the best faces!
The guitarist and the drummer looks like the guitarist and the drummer of Alter Bridge
lol you can see mark rolling his eyes in the beginning, stapp sped up the whole fuckin intro. still a badass performance though!
no its not. this song was written several years after the limp bizkit thing happened,

Damn,Stapp looked like he was on something when he started singing 😮
This song was written because of the conflict between Scott Stapp and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. Basically Scott was saying, don't talk about me behind my back, say it to my face.
Agreed.
That difference seems to be very important since there are many discussions like that about american bands?

Paul Jason yeah fuck creed haters
00:26 lol at stapps eyes
now I see where Tremonti came up with white knuckles
Why Does Fred Durst have trouble with other musicians? He also had trouble with Trent Reznor and Corey Taylor
What is CPE ?

Tremonti is such a GOD!! What a beast!

😃
He can never sing like this anymore..
he is quite sick at singing here
stapp was so much better then
You are not the problem- concentrate on your skills, familiar
lol not really.....he's starting to sound like this again

lol @ 1:08 Who needs a mic stand, cmon!
it's not so much as improved, more like he can now show he's good. creed was sorta based around scott and AB is more around mark
Hmmm.
No he's not, I've watched the recent one's.
true.. the voice's pitch is gone. how sad..
he uses the fckin tremolo too many times I think! its a great idea to use it in this song, but maybe once or twice
