As a yearly buyer of these cases, I’m not even bothering with Otterbox this year until their design team change and remove the silly cut out for the camera button. I don’t understand why they couldn’t copy across the same cover on the Lumen or the official Apple case.
It’s awful. I returned my Defender because of how uncomfortable and hideous it was and I have been using Otterbox since the iPhone 4. Funny enough they were going to release a model with a camera control button built in and had it on their website saying “coming soon” but they deleted it after about a week. Very disappointed with Otterbox this year, the design is lazy.
The cutout I thought at first was atrocious but realistically my hand adjusted to the open space. Also the cutout on the back side is actually raised a bit so it won’t actually touch the ground if you did drop it right on that spot. Would I like the button covered? Yes! Is it the end of the world? No. The case feels super study and strong. Desert titanium looks good with the black and clear.
Legit I have the 16 pro max (tan) and I just ordered the high desert marble case and your video gives me hope that it’s gonna look good and be real reliable!
Putting a touch sensitive button through that defender layer would be a lot though for the defender series. Just thinking. Much simpler, albeit lazy to just put a cut out there. However the symmetry shouldn't be having the cut out. That's disappointing.
I love otterbox….But I’m definitely pissed they took away the holster out of the package and now you gotta jump through hoops to get it,Or pay 15 bucks to get it😑And they’re still charging full prices for some of these cases without the holster in the box
Might get a new iPhone, and if I do I think I’m going to go with a different brand, like pelican. That cutout I’d say makes the case a little less protective, and the fact it doesn’t already come with the holster like they used to is inconvenient, just include it, shouldn’t have to send in to have it sent. Bye otterbox, served me well but they dropped the ball(this year at least). Man so many brands in general are just cutting corners and yet they charge the same price if not higher.(speaking generally not just phone cases)
due to new case design and using old holster design it broke my screen protector. the holster now at kinda sharp edge presses directing on the screen rather then case.

I personally think this case looks amazing 🔥🔥 i dont mind that gap for the button, i think it just needs to grow on you. Nice video!

Best case from Otterbox was the pop socket design. So much so I will stick with this brand.

Keep telling how great it is, but the case does not fully protect my phone + no-go for me.
